As a way in, Philip poses as a lawyer who can also make fake ID's for her and also get her drugs, but when Kimberly becomes attracted to him, Philip feels it's a line he doesn't want to cross.

Elizabeth and Philip continue to argue about Paige, especially when he asks her what she wants for her birthday dinner, and buys her the latest album by Music/{{Yazoo}} as a present. Paige invites Pastor Tim and his wife to the dinner, at the dinner, she tells her parents she wants to be baptized, which Elizabeth and Philip believe Paige set up from the very beginning.

Nina is told by the prison authorities her sentence will be reduced if she's able to get Evi to confess. Nina starts to open up to Evi and tell her about her past in order to get Evi to talk.

Stan tells Gaad about [[Recap/TheAmericansS3E3OpenHouse about his suspicions about Zinaida]], and Gaad just tells him to be careful. When Stan takes Zinaida to dinner, and Zinaida uses the bathroom, Stan goes back later to see if she left a message there.
