As Jollywood celebrates Jolly Day, the Glooms have their own celebration of Gloomy Day. Hildy gets irritated at the merriment, so Grim gives Hildy a device that sucks the joy out of people and they use it on the 7D and the Jollywood townsfolk. Happy and Bashful realize what is going on and try to rally everyone around the Jollywood Tree to cheer them up.

!! This episode has the following tropes

* AndADietCoke: Inverted. Queen Delightful orders a grande low-fat cocoa with extra whipped cream.
* BadBadActing: When Happy and Bashful were the next to get their joy taken by the Glooms, they trick them by using mannequins. It's just that when the Glooms suck out the mannequins' joy, the way they sound doesn't seem convincing to the audience, but it does fool the Glooms.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Happy greets the audience to have a Happy Jolly Day at the end of the episode.
