Despite the harsher conditions, Meme's disappearing act only gets worse, as the other girls are easily able to find her. When night falls, Mimimi dons Meme's sweater, insisting that Meme should learn to be more confident in herself.
The next day, Toruru confronts Mimimi and Meme in the hall, opening a window to let in a breeze to blow back Meme's bangs. But when she snaps a picture, she finds that the picture she took was of Mimimi, not Meme. Her second attempt yields the same result, forcing her to sulk off in tears. It turns out that Rentarou came up with the idea of Mimimi serving as a decoy for Meme's disappearing acts after considering their personalities. As Mimimi attempts to christen this new technique, the wind from outside gives Mimimi a glimpse of Meme's face, causing her to disappear.
