** As it turns out, Cassandra purposely made it look like Quirin was spared of the Mind Trap so that he could sabotage the heroes later on.

* ExposedToTheElements:
** Rapunzel once again goes barefoot in a snowy area, and once again doesn't show any more discomfort than anyone else. This time, she even went there of her own volition rather than having her balloon shot down, so she could have bundled up beforehand but chose not to.
** A lighter example occurs with Varian. He wears his Season 3 outfit in the snow, which probably should have caused him to be somewhat chilly, but he doesn't appear bothered, even more considering he had a negative experience with snow in "Queen for a Day".
* ExtraLongEpisode: Three times as long, making it pretty much a movie.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: During Rapunzel and Cass's no-holds-bar battle, Rapunzel asks that Cass not break the vase that her Aunt Willow made. Cass ''could've'' broken the vase as a way to further spite Rapunzel, but instead, [[EvenEvilHasStandards she agrees not to break it]]. This may be a very small clue that Cass isn't ''entirely'' BeyondRedemption and still has good left in her.

* DoubleStandard: Despite doing the exact same acts Varian (who arguably had more sympathetic motivations) did in Season 1, Cassandra gets to leave Crona without paying for her crimes, while Varian had to spend a year in jail.

* BalefulPolymorph: The Coronans are transformed by the Netherworld and if Varian's theory is correct, a prolonged stay would make it permanent.

* BilingualBonus: The title is French for "More in You", a reference to the first episode.

* DoubleStandard: Despite doing the exact same acts Varian (who arguably had more sympathetic motivations) did in Season 1, Cassandra gets to leave Crona without paying for her crimes, while Varian had to spend a year in jail.

* MismatchedEyes: Zhan Tiri's true form has GlowingEyesOfDoom, one yellow like the Sundrop, and one blue like the Moonstone.

* NotSoDifferent: As it turns out, once upon a time, Zhan Tiri was in Cassandra's shoes: turning on her once close friend (Demanitus/Rapunzel), ambitious enough to claim destiny by taking the power for herself, and ultimately willing to hurt her former friend [[EvilIsPetty through the one thing they love]] (Eugene/Corona). Zhan Tiri even (somewhat) made note of it in the previous episode.

* WorldWreckingWave: Zhan Tiri uses the Decay Incantation to send a wave of darkness across Corona, horribly weakening everyone it touches.

* SkewedPriorities: When Zhan Tiri has them trapped in a yellow rock cage, both Rapunzel and Cassandra are much more focused on repairing their friendship than placing their utmost focus on escaping so they can defeat Zhan Tiri before she destroys Corona and everyone in it. Cassandra [[TearsOfRemorse cries]] [[CryIntoChest into Rapunzel's chest]], begging her to give up on her and apologizing to her, but she remarkably doesn't mention others her misdeeds have affected. On her part, Rapunzel, in spite of retaining hope they can break free, comforts Cassandra and gives her a long speech about the first time she saw [[TheStoic her]] laugh and how she'll always be her best friend, only placing her focus back on stopping Zhan Tiri once she has made fully sure she made amends with Cassandra, who has now regained her confidence.
