Boba Fett, seeking revenge against Jedi Master Mace Windu for the death of his father Jango, infiltrates the Jedi Cruiser ''Endurance'' disguised as a clone cadet. He plants an explosive just inside the door of Windu's cabin. By a fluke, Mace isn't the one that sets it off — he was about to enter his cabin when a clone trooper brings him word he's wanted on the bridge, and the unfortunate clone trooper falls victim to the trap when Mace asks him to put a data chip in his cabin.

* WhatYouAreInTheDark: Boba has the opportunity to kill a clone trooper in cold blood as the clone begs for his life, saying they're brothers. Despite Boba's assertion they're not, he can't pull the trigger, likely because the clone has his helmet off and therefore looks ''exactly'' like his father Jango. Instead, he stuns him.

By a fluke, Mace isn't the one that sets it off -- he was about to enter his cabin when a clone trooper brought him word he was wanted on the bridge and the unfortunate clone trooper set it off when Mace asked him to put a data chip in his cabin.

The explosion causes damage to the ship's navigation systems. On top of that, the Jedi now know there's a saboteur on board the ship and Mace and Anakin Skywalker start a systematic search of the ''Endurance'' from bow to stern. Boba, knowing that Mace didn't get killed in his booby trap, sneaks away and shoots up the engine room on the advice of Aurra Sing, who's serving as his MissionControl.

Due to the escalating damage to the ship, the Jedi order an evacuation. Admiral Kilian, however, insists on GoingDownWithTheShip, using those exact words. He intends to crash-land on nearby Vanqor. The Clone Youth Brigade files into two escape pods. When his pod launches, Boba subtly sabotages it, causing the communications to go offline and the pod to drift off course.

Sergeant Crasher contacts the Jedi because he can't find the other pod with the rest of his cadets. Anakin and Mace, in their starfighters, set off in search. Meanwhile, the cadets in the wayward escape pod hear a ship docking. The door opens to reveal Bounty Hunters Aurra Sing and Bossk aboard the ''Slave I'' and here to pick up Boba. The cadets aboard the escape pod are shocked to learn that "Lucky", as they knew him, was an infiltrator. Aurra tells Boba to jettison the cadets into open space, but he instead chooses to safely release them in their pod. The Jedi find the missing pod shortly after ''Slave I'' departs.
