* InsistentTerminology: The old man repeatedly reminds Tech that he's ''Serennoan'', reminding us that the Separatists, despite being demonized by Republic propaganda, were just as much victims of Palpatine's plans as the Republic was.

* KarmicJackpot: Tech helping Romar repair his device comes in handy later when the old man comes to his rescue.

* AllForNothing: After a lot of near death experiences, a lot of internal arguing on what they should do with it, and Tech breaking his leg, the Batch fail to get even a single piece of the war chest. Worse still is now Rampart knows the Batch survived the Kamino bombardment.

* DeathByIrony: Wilco is killed by Rampart because he's too much of good soldier following orders, especially in regards to submitting accurate reports.

* HeKnowsTooMuch: When Captain Wilco refuses to falsify an official report that Clone Force 99 survived the bombardment of Tipoca City, Rampart murders him in cold blood to cover up the truth and protect his career, as he previously reported to Tarkin that they were dead.

* ShoutOut: Two to the ''Franchise/JurassicPark'' franchise. At the beginning of the episode, Tech, Echo and Omega are tossed around in the falling container and at risk of being crushed by debris inside like the humvees in ''Film/TheLostWorldJurassicPark''. It's followed up Echo noting "we haven't fully landed yet" and "we ''still'' haven't landed yet", paraphrasing Alan Grant in ''Film/JurassicParkIII''.

* BadBoss: Rampart follows Imperial precedent, condescending Wilco for not having all of the lost treasures back before executing him for simply being willing - even determined - to tell the truth about the Batch's survival.

* CompanyCrossReferences: Omega attempts to get her bag full of Dooku's treasure that has fallen further down the unstable cargo hold, but Echo persuades to her to "let it go," similar to how Henry Jones Sr. told Indiana to let the Holy Grail go in ''Film/IndianaJonesAndTheLastCrusade.''

* HandicappedBadass: Tech's leg is fractured by a falling crate, but that doesn't stop him from limping to the cargo container and taking out a squad of Clone Troopers who have a mounted blaster cannon. He collapses after succeeding, but he got all three of them.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: When Captain Wilco refuses to falsify an official report that Clone Force 99 had survived the bombardment of Tipoca City, Rampart deems him a liability and murders him in cold blood to cover up the truth.

* DirtyCoward: Upon learning of the Batch's survival, Rampart orders it to be covered up since he personally told Tarkin the Batch perished on Kamino. When Wilco refuses to take part in the cover-up, Rampart kills him so he can make a falsified report himself.

* HeKnowsTooMuch: Rampart kills Wilco when he's unwilling to falsify a report for him.
