The Ace Squadron heads out to escort in a shipment, although Griff Halloran doesn't know why all five of them need to head out on routine missions like this. It turns out, though, that this fuel freighter has been recently attacked by pirates, damaging their systems, including the navigation, placing the ship on a direct collision course with the Colossus that they can't steer out of. It takes all five Aces latching their fighters onto the ship to slow it down, bringing the out-of-control freighter to a halt just before it could hit the platform, causing a dock worker witnessing the sight to faint in relief.
