President Garrison intentionally destroys a potential cure for the COVID-19 virus because it suits his purposes to let it continue.

* ScrewPolitenessImASenior: A RunningGag is the episode presents Senior citizens acting like obnoxious teenagers, rubbing their eligibility for early vaccines in everyone's faces.

** When Stan points out that Token was taken to the hospital because Officer Yates shot him, Yates replies the police were only at the school because the teachers had left, so COVID is ultimately to blame.

* BadLiar: Sharon ended up smoking her husband's sperm-ridden weed and grew a mustache, but she, never finding out the truth, lies to Randy about it.

** Garrison is a stand-in for Trump as per usual not listening to the CDC or Anthony Fauci.

** To people on both sides of the mask debates, who are shown in this episode to be too focused on feuding with each other rather than focusing on the immediate issue at hand. The fact that the two most prominent debaters Stephen Scotch and Thomas Tucker ended up swapping sides but still were just argumentative towards each other highlights this.
