* KarmaHoudini: Unlike Cartman, Kenny is never shown to receive any punishment for his role in scamming Butters out of his money.money other than he most likely is still stuck living in poverty because he refused to do any hard work at the hot dog restaurant himself.

Added DiffLines:

** A relatively minor one but Kenny's parents finally buy Karen some ice cream like she requested back in "The City Part of Town".

* VisualMetaphor: Cartman, usually the dominant in his relationship with his mother, is dragged away from [[PunnyName [=DikinBaus=]]] kicking, screaming and impotent. He's basically been castrated and thus neutralized.

*** Then again, given that universities such as Yale and Harvard would later be caught using affirmative action to reject white and Asian students by the Supreme Court, and that companies such as Starbucks would lose lawsuits over such decisions as firing certain workers to be more "inclusive," it might not be too far-fetched to think that Darryl might be somewhat in the right.

* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Cartman getting the idea to sell hot dogs at his hot dog stand is represented by live-action footage of hot dogs being prepared. Except for the last clip, which is a collection of dildos.

* WhamEpisode: At the end, Butters sells [=DikinBaus=] and arranges for the Cartmans to move back into their old house, thereby ending the season-long arc of them living in the hot dog stand. More importantly, between Cartman's behavior in this episode, Butters' [[TheDogBitesBack payback]], and Liane's no-nonsense attitude at the end, this episode makes it firmly clear that [[WesternAnimation/SouthParkPostCovidTheReturnOfCovid Cartman's fate as a drunken angry hobo]] is now [[ForegoneConclusion inevitable]] (to the point that the music that plays at the end is reused from said episode).

The music that plays when adult Cartman's fate is revealed in the good future is even reused in the end.end while Cartman's throwing a tantrum, loosely connecting his BrokenTears at the end of this episode to his more resigned "fuck you guys" at the end of "Return of COVID."

Musical Spoilers are few and far between when it comes to longer pieces of music instead of minor chord progressions (to give a random example, the ones in Cupid Me when Cartman's running around). This doesn't necessarily indicate anything beyond these just being stock pieces, since larger-scale episodes often link to smaller ones with these pieces anyway (for another random example, the piece played during Kyle's death in Imaginationland; pick any Butters-centric episode and there's a 25% of the same piece playing at the end). Liane was also previously established to have revoked a lot of her emotional ties with Cartman so it's more just her putting a band-aid on the problem

* MusicalSpoiler: The music that plays at the end of the episode (when Cartman gets what's coming to him) is the same piece that's played at the end of ''WesternAnimation/SouthParkPostCovidTheReturnOfCovid'' (when Cartman's fate as a drunken hobo is revealed). Coupled with Butters' and Liane's reactions to Cartman's behavior in this episode, it's made clear that Cartman's fate in the future is now set in stone.

Added DiffLines:

* InelegantBlubbering: A [[DownplayedTrope downplayed]] variant. Cartman cries up a storm when he loses ownership of [=DikinBaus=] and can be heard aggressively sniffling between sobs, but we don't actually see any mess of snot or saliva (amusingly, the episode ends panning out of Cartman's window while this is still happening, so for all we know it could have happened off-screen).

I submitted the previous entry by accident before it was finished lol. I was going to say I doubt she was furious, because, as the entry mentioned, she was chipper and everything was completely fine, which Cartman obviously didn't agree with, but she was expecting him to throw an embarrassingly long hissy fit, so I'm getting more of a Dissonant Serenity vibe.

** Liane, as before, remains very calm and polite, though makes quite clear she hasn't forgotten what her son done to their lives. When they get back their old house, she ''drags him back kicking and screaming'' in a chipper tone.

Misuse; No Sympathy is usually when a character is unsympathetic to another's misfortune out of spite and/or Appeal To Worse Problems, neither of which Liane was invoking. At worst, you could say she was completely apathetic (which she was, for obvious reasons) but that still wouldn't be an example.

* NoSympathy: In the end, Liane drags Cartman back to their old house, just as [=DikinBaus=] has taken the world by storm. She completely ignores his crying and screaming and cheerfully says "Look, Eric. It's your old room, just like you wanted!", knowing full well that Cartman lost his dream home through his own fault, and leaves the room while he's still crying and screaming.
