Those three never "turned on" Sticks, they just weren't actively involved in that part of the episode's plot, so Amy had the focus as Sticks's defender. At no point did they ever shun her or act like the villagers did towards her.

* TheReveal: It is revealed in this episode that the Unnamed Village used to be named "Badgerville" after Jebediah Badger, Sticks' great-great-grandfather. Her reaction is [[OhCrap what you would expect.]]

* {{Jerkass}}: As always, the random villagers are utter assholes, shunning Sticks for the crimes of her ancestor, to the point that she nearly leaves for good. They apologize in the end, but only after Sticks helps save the town from Eggman for the billionth time.

The Mayor has called an emergency meeting with the townfolk. Due to Sonic unraveling their landmark giant ball of twine to stop a rockslide, the village needs to find a new way to reinvigorate tourism. Amy suggests selling t-shirts with the village name on it to spread the word around, but everybody suddenly realizes that nobody knows exactly what the name of their village is. Amy offers to look it up in the library, but Tails instantly find the answer on the Internet much to her disappointment. Tails explains that long ago, the village was called "Badgerville", named after its founder Jebediah Badger. Having abused his power and wealth to manipulate the system and expand his domain, Jebediah was eventually run out of town by an angry mob and had all signs bearing his name and likeness torn down, except nobody bothered to hang up new ones and so the village's name was simply forgotten. This comes as a complete shock to Sticks, as Jebediah was her great-great grandfather. Everybody immediately begins to ostracize Sticks as a result of this news.

While Sticks tries her best to cope with being an overnight outcast to society, the rest of the citizens debates over what to call the village. Amy suggests "Pleasant Valley" and everybody seems to like it, but Dr. Eggman takes the opportunity to announce his own suggestion of "Eggman City". When Amy tries to protest, Eggman offers to let the people decide in an election. Despite Amy's valiant efforts to win the votes, Eggman's aggressive merchandise-fueled campaign pushes him ahead and he wins easily. Now firmly elected as Mayor, the first thing he does (after getting his trash collected) is announce his plans to tear down the village and build a theme park over it. Sonic and his friends are powerless to stop Eggman as he's within the legal right to destroy everything, so Amy runs to the library and hits the books to find a legal way to fight back. After a long bout of research, she finds the answer.

Amy runs to meet with Sticks, who is preparing to leave as she is no longer welcome by the village, and explains that Jebediah Badger never relinquished ownership of his land. As his sole descendant, Sticks is the legal owner of the land and everything on it, and so she runs back to the village to announce that she's giving up her ownership to the citizens. After Eggman is properly impeached and evicted, the Mayor apologizes to Sticks for the mistreatment of the previous day. Sticks accepts it and declares that from this episode forward, the village shall be known as "Hedgehog Village"... after Amy Rose for always being at her side no matter what.
