Enraged, he goes to speak with Simon Mr. Salty himself, only to find out that he was murdered. Charlie and Pim round up all therestaurants restaurant mascots themselves as and interview them, but each of them have an alibi. While musing over which of them could be responsible for killing Mr. Salty, the suspects!
two uncover a secret room containing the imprisoned Century Egg mascot, who reveals to have a VHS recording of Mr. Salty's murder. The two review the tape, where it's shown that each of the mascots had seemingly killed Mr. Salty. They rewind far enough to discover that Mr. Salty actually died from a heart attack after eating one of his burgers. With the mascots technically cleared of murder, they escape the restaurant and wreak havoc around the city.
