While viewing an exhibit of ancient Greek artifacts, Shaggy and Scooby accidentally unleash a stone Minotaur. Luckily, Franchise/WonderWoman shows up to the rescue...but unluckily, that means that the gang has to spend the rest of the mystery keeping the WrongGenreSavvy superheroine from slaying a not-so-innocent person.
!!This episode includes examples of the following tropes:
* BoxingLesson: Wonder Woman trains Mystery Inc in Amazonian combat; first just Velma and Daphne, later Scooby and the boys too.
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: The minotaur's true identity is a former pro athlete which gives him the strength and skill to briefly fight Wonder Woman in hand-to-hand combat.
* ChekhovsGun: The training the gang gets from Wonder Woman helps them against the Minotaur. For instance, the game of KeepAway she has them play with a ball helps them keep the head of Apollo out of its reach.
* DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength: When Wonder Woman tries to give Velma a hi-five, she knocks Velma down. Wonder Woman apologizes and says she is more used to hanging out with her similarly strong Amazon sisters.
* FriendshipFavoritism: Shaggy gets jealous of Scooby hanging out with Wonder Woman, calling her a friend-stealer. Velma isn't particularly fond of it either, because she has to eat Shaggy's extra snacks.
* HeroesLoveDogs: Wonder Woman takes quite a liking to Scooby Doo and frequently succumbs to CutenessProximity when she's talking to and petting him.
* RedHerring: A grumpy janitor is suspected of being the minotaur because he's unfriendly and snorts the same way the minotaur does. It's not him.
* WhatMeasureIsANonHuman: Used in the Wonder Woman episode - the villain there is a minotaur, which Wonder Woman believes is a real monster and is thus intent on hunting down and destroying. The Mystery Inc gang, who suspect the minotaur is just a person in a mask, continually have to stop her.
* WillfullyWeak: Wonder Woman defeats the Minotaur by smacking it on the backside with her sword and then kicking it into the trap. She admits that the unusual style the gang forced her to use was refreshing.
