Moka wants to spend more time with Tsukune during a trip to the human world, but Kurumu, Mizore and Yukari make it difficult as they try to get close to him themselves. The four arrive at a hotel, where a gang of delinquents from another monster school follows them to and grabs Tsukune as a hostage. The next day, as Kurumu, Mizore, and Yukari fight three of the members, Moka goes and tries to untie Tsukune, only for the leader to notice her and does his special attack on her. A talisman appears and Moka uses it to hit the gang's tengu leader twice before breaking his mask. All four leaders back away to show the "teacher", who turns out to be Kokoa. Moka and the others pay no attention to her as Kokoa tries to attack, but as Tsukune trips and fall, he removes the rosary from Moka's neck, and Moka's inner self kicks Kokoa away. After breakfast, Kurumu, Mizore, and Yukari walk and talk about the shrines and notice that Tsukune and Moka are missing. Tsukune and Moka are walking together but are cornered by the four gang leaders, who bow down and call Moka their "rosary ringleader".

!Tropes for this episode include:
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Kokoa [[MightMakesRight became Monster Industries' "heavy hitter" after kicking the Captains' collective asses with her vampire strength]]. Though considering [[GoldfishPoopGang the Captains aren't all that impressive of fighters]] and the Newspaper Club have dealt with Kokoa before, the Newspaper Club aren't that impressed. When Inner!Moka beats her, Monster Industries declares Moka their "rosary ringleader".
* BreakingTheFourthWall: At the beginning of the episode, Kurumu remarks that this episode will be her [[ADayInTheLimelight Day in the Limelight]] after the last two episodes were all about Yukari and Mizore.
* DistaffCounterpart: The Ghost Brat of Iyo seems to be this for Yukari, his primary ability - to summon pillows to pelt people with - being very similar to her conjuring wash-tubs to bash people on the head with.
* ElementalRockPaperScissors: Subverted. The Wraith of Sanuki thinks he has the upper-hand when faced against Mizore because he has PlayingWithFire powers. Mizore responds by [[BeyondTheImpossible flash-freezing his flames solid]].
* FishPeople: One of the Captains of Monster Industries is a Sea Monk, a mythological fish man of Danish folklore.
* GoldfishPoopGang: While Monster Industries talk a big game, Tsukune's harem very easily dispatches them without the element of surprise, showing that the humanity was in no real danger from them.
* HotSpringsEpisode: A portion of the episode is set in a hotel, which has its own hot spring.
* JapaneseDelinquents: While Monster Industries are all make and dress in male school uniforms, Tsukune's harem (on Rubys recommendation) are all dressed in long-skirted black uniforms meant to evoke the female delinquent, complete with matching make-up and TriangleShades, Mizore wearing a face mask with a bike chain, Kurumu carrying a wooden daito and Yukari armed with a large set square.
* JokeCharacter: While the other three captains could at least hold up some level of a fight, all the Goblin of Tosa does is snag Moka's skirt with his fishing line. Moka doesn't even need her rosary removed this time, beating him by breaking his mask with [[KillerYoYo a yoyo]]. He considers his mask being broken as him losing the fight.
* MonsterOfTheWeek: Monster Industries are an urban gang of {{Youkai}} in Shikoku who has aspirations of conquering Japan.
* PoorCommunicationKills: Monster Industries kidnaps Tsukune as a hostage, they did it because they thought that the Yokai Academy students where there to stop them from conquering Japan (since Yokai Academy's purpose - to live in peace with the humans - is antithetical to their goals), when really they were there on a field trip. When they tell this to Tsukune's harem, they admit they don't care if they conquer the nation or not.
* StrangeMindsThinkAlike: Both Outer!Moka and Koko find the same skeleton keychain to be adorable.
* {{Tengu}}: Monster Industries' leader the Goblin of Tosa is a long-nosed tengu, his real face identical to the mask he was wearing (though regular flesh-colored).
* UnskilledButStrong: Each of Monster Industries' fighting strategies seems to be pelting their opponent with their attacks with no real strategy or contingencies; the Sea Monk of Awa literally smacking Kurumu with his sheer weight and size, the Wraith of Sanuki conjuring a wall of fire around Mizore and the Ghost Brat of Iyo burying Yukari in pillows. Since the girls [[StrongAndSkilled have fought various monsters and have equal to higher strength than them]], they quickly figure this out and beat them comically fast.
