* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: When Rick discovers that Morty has become a Kuato attached to Summer, he lampshades that he "thought the [attribute] slider was gonna be the thing '''this week'''" (as the show's episodes air weekly).

* SuperWindowJump: Rick grabs Summer and jumps with her through a window to escape a bunch of mooks. He lampshaded the stunt afterwards by making a connection to ''Film/{{Taken}}''.
