!!Earth, Wind, and Flyer
Jet wants to know about wind and its' effects, big and small.
----
* AffectionateGestureToTheNose: Jet's saucer has a nose-booping function of all things, and it boops Sean's nose. Sean questions why he even has that.
* TheCameo:
** Mindy makes a brief non-speaking cameo in the episode, where she plays with her pinwheels. Other than that, she is not involved in the episode's plot.
** Bergs also makes a cameo, where he's sailing on the lake. This is also his first sighting in the second season.
* ContinuityNod: The episode "What Goes Up..." had Sydney going on a wild saucer ride, with Jet and Sean chasing after her. The same thing happens here, except it's Sean going on a wild saucer ride, and Jet and Sydney chase after him. Oh, and Jet's controls still aren't marked. Sean piloted the saucer here like he rhetorically said he would in "What Goes Up..." Don't quote him on that
* InherentlyFunnyWords: Jet thinks "chime" is a funny Earth word.
* OhCrap:
** Sean and Sydney have this reaction when they see Mitchell, since they don't want to expose Jet's alien identity to him.
** Sean screams in terror when he ends up flying the saucer alone.
* PopCulturePunEpisodeTitle: The episode title is a reference to Music/EarthWindAndFire.
* ShipTease: This particular scene where Jet urges Sean to fly the saucer in a playful way.
-->Jet: So, Sean-zo, what do you think about flying this baby? Referring to the saucer
* SpeakInUnison: Sean and Sydney simultaneously say that they have an idea. They're shocked that they have the same idea.

!!Mini-Golf at the DSA
The DSA has just installed a mini-golf course, and the kids are playing in a tournament against the adults.
----
* AnimalAthleteLoophole: Sunspot helps Mindy score the hole-in-one needed for the kids' team to win. Bergs thinks that they might be cheating, but Mr. Peterson allows it since there's no rule in the rulebook about animal assists.
* BorrowedCatchphrase: Mr. Peterson uses Sean's catchphrase "Booyah, science!"
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Sean breaks the fourth wall when he says "Hey, that's my line!" in response to Mr. Peterson using his catchphrase.
* DramaQueen: Mr. Peterson wails over the kids beating the adults at the game, but he ends up being a good sport in the end.
* HeyThatsMyLine: Sean says this when Mr. Peterson scores a hole-in-one and says Sean's catchphrase "Booyah, science!"
* IveHeardOfThatWhatIsIt: Sean tells Jet that he needs to use the right amount of force to get his golf ball to move properly and not bounce all over the place. Jet says he loves force, only to ask a second later what force is.
* LastNameBasis: This episode is significant in that it is the first time that Mr. Peterson refers to female characters by their last name, such as calling Dr. Rafferty simply "Rafferty" and calling Mindy "Melendez."
* MiniGolfEpisode: This episode has the Deep Space Array installs a mini-golf course. The kids compete against the adults in the DSA's first mini-golf tournament, and they win by applying their knowledge of force.
* MonkeyMoralityPose: Sunspot helps Mindy putt the golf ball into the tenth and final hole — the rocket ship. The ball ricochets all over the place. Jet, Sean, and Sydney, all on edge, do the famous pose — Sean is see no evil, Jet is speak no evil, and Sydney is hear no evil.
* SeriousBusiness: Mr. Peterson makes his team work extra hard for the tournament. The kids even lampshade that he's taking mini-golf way too seriously.
-->Jet: Isn't mini-golf supposed to be goofy fun?
-->Mindy: Isn't pretty much everything supposed to be goofy fun?
-->Jet: I certainly think so!
