* TheStinger: Doofenshmirtz is still inside the Bust 'Em! van in the tornado, then decides to turn into a skid but falls over the farmer's wife while she's scolding him for selling their bunny farm, buying a van rental place and not buying a single van. Then Doofenshmirtz in the van is about to fall on the wife. After the wife says "Not one word," the screen goes black and a crash is heard.

First appearance of the business man who, through the the unintentional consequences of the actions of other characters, keeps getting the very thing he forgets to get out of the sky, and his wife.

** The businessman's wife berates him for setting up a rabbit farm without buying any rabbits, saying, "What did you think, that rabbits would just fall out of the sky?" Immediately afterwards, a few rabbits ''do'' fall out of the sky and land on her hands, before Doofenshmirtz's balloon full of rabbits lands on top of her.

* ExcitedShowTitle: The ShowWithinAShow, ''Bust 'Em!'', is an example, as is the episode itself ("Leave the Busting to Us!").

* FreezeFrameBonus: As the aliens get off the Ferris wheel they say Erimnevop Yelsgnik Nad. Read backwards, this is a ShoutOut to Daniel Kingsley Povenmire, who co-created the show and voiced Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

* IncrediblyObviousBug: Lulu attempts to record footage of the waterslide with a "secret hidden camera" (really a giant camera strapped to a bicycle helmet), but Phineas takes it off, saying "you might get this wet". Lulu tries again, disguising the camera inside a giant cowboy hat. Despite it still being obvious, this time, no one notices or does anything about the camera.

Candace calls a show called "Bust 'Em!" to help her bust her brothers.
