Leslie needs to consult a lawyer for a problem with Lot 48, and Ann offers the services of her friend Justin, a lawyer who is "the greatest guy ever". Leslie meets with Justin. Both Leslie and Tom are impressed with Justin, though Mark isn't really impressed, not helped by how Ann always seems to fawn over Justin. Justin promises to work on Leslie's case over the weekend.

As part of a program making government officials more accessible to the public, Ron has been getting a lot of visitors lately, which he hates, so he decides to put out an ad for hiring himself a new assistant. Tom offers to help Ron find an assistant, interviewing several people, but he's actually looking for an assistant for himself.

Mark accuses Ann of saving Justin for herself and those suspicions turn out to be true when Mark consults with Andy and learns that Ann has always had a thing for Justin. Tom has found an assistant for Ron – his friend Jean-Ralphio. Ron rejects him and tells Tom to keep looking. April helps Andy sell one of his [=CDs=] at the shoeshine stand, and he tells her he likes her hanging out there. She goes to Ron and offers to be his assistant, demonstrating her abilities by closing the door in Tom's face when he tries to enter the office. Ron hires her on the spot.

She instead sets Leslie to date, up with an [=MRI=] MRI technician she works with named Chris. The date doesn't turn out how she expected though. goes poorly, with Chris appearing annoyed upon learning Leslie attended a rival college, and that she is a director of regular parks, not amusement parks. Chris then gives Leslie an MRI at the hospital, but quickly makes her a free [=MRI=], but uncomfortable when he remarks that Leslie has an excellent uterus ("could easily have triplets right off the bat") and asking whether she is having her period, presumably in anticipation of sex later. Leslie rejects his advances when the date is over, he's annoyed that she doesn't want to get together with ends, prompting him again. to make an angry goodbye, even though Leslie still needs to give him a ride home.
