* HappyEndingOverride: Years after ''Captain Planet and the Planeteers'' ended, Kwame is the only one still on the team, as the others (Wheeler, Linka, Gi, and Ma-Ti) [[WeAreStrugglingTogether got sick of fighting with each other]] and left to get "real jobs". [[SocietyMarchesOn And just as in real life]], climate change has advanced considerably, without consistent progress toward stopping it or societal consensus on it even happening/mattering, with a sizable segment claiming climate change is a hoax, as well as the general consensus--especially among Libertarians--that environmental-friendliness hinders profits. In other words, the Eco-Villains (at least the ones who didn't pull a HeelFaceTurn like Sly Sludge and Hoggish Greedy did) have ''won'' (though only Looten Plunder and Zarm seem to have benefitted the most, the former from having free reign to exploit the environment for his own gain, and the latter from the constant strife plaguing modern society like religious extremism, resurging nationalism, gender wars, the internet in general, and an overall disdain for doing good deeds without getting paid). The only thing that's actually stuck is, ironically, public awareness of non-environmental issues such AIDS, gang violence, and recreational drug use, and the only environmental message that stuck is nuclear power, with a huge backlash towards nuclear power plants in recent years (especially following the Fukushima-Daiichi disaster in 2011), which is a major blow to Duke Nukem. The last part; however, has many energy analysts reconsidering on its revival due to its massive energy output to meet the global demands with little to no carbon emissions as long as radiation wastes are properly contained. [[MoodWhiplash Then Captain Planet and the Lakewood Plaza Heroes give a Planeteer Alert.]]

* AffectionateParody: The episode lampoons the [[GenericDoomsdayVillain often simpleminded]] villains from the original ''Captain Planet'' cartoons and the overt GreenAesop nature of the series, but the latter message is still presented fairly sincerely, and the end of the episode still takes the time to provide real tips to help the environment.

Donald Trump is just scratching the surface. Sure, I dislike his actions, but just that it also ignore the role of corporations, libertarians, and people who just hates liberals (pre-2018 South Park being an example) who is just as responsible and rooted themselves for decades. Also can we also include the fact that misconception about Nuclear Energy itself is anti-science and do more harm than good and maybe focus on trying to produce less radioactive waste or more safer.
