You'd expect that to be how Twilight finds out he did it, but instead she finds out by coming while he's still preparing. However, at the end of the episodes, the pawprints are what help Twilight and Owlowiscious find Spike.

Not an example. As stated, she engages in some actual badassery near episode\'s end.

* {{Chickification}}: Twilight, who has [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E6BoastBusters faced down a rampaging Ursa Minor]], suddenly balks at going out into the town at night to retrieve a scroll that's been blown out her window. She says, "This is a job for [[TheOneGuy Spike]]!" while worriedly shuffling from hoof to hoof, despite being a powerful magician and teleporter, whereas Spike is a toddler with no evident nocturnal affinity. Later, she has no qualms whatsoever (or ever again) about venturing out into the [[WildMagic Everfree]] [[TheLostWoods Forest]] at night to find him.
** Possibly justified or averted in that it (since this ''is'' Twilight) wasn't so much fear that kept her in, but not wanting to be disrupted from her studying and whatnot.
