*** The latter is especially interesting from a narrative perspective: the narrative had earlier focused on Cat Noir's sadness at being rejected, but not on Ladybug's possible feelings of pressure and being disregarded as people try to force her into being a couple with Cat Noir. This makes the story naturally more sympathetic towards Cat Noir, even though Ladybug has said repeatedly, over several episodes, that she's not interested in him and doesn't want to hurt him by misleading him. Interestingly, the narrative seems to prioritize Adrien's feelings.
