* OverprotectiveDad: Lucifer threatens a woman who flirts with Rory by showing her his red eyes. Rory clearly doesn't take it well.

* {{Hypocrite}}: When Lucifer spends his time with his lost daughter Rory by teaching her to drive, Rory starts hitting on and flirting with a female driver (as a lustful demon just like her father). Lucifer scares the driver away by showing his demonic eyes, Rory notices that and Lucifer uses as excuse that the driver was "twice her age" and Rory clearly takes it badly. This is quite ironic but also massively hypocritical (and ageist) considering that Lucifer is a millions of years-old being who had sex with countless young humans (even the oldest ones would be too young for him) of both sexes and even with Chloe Decker he did hit on since they first met, with whom he even had the same daughter Rory. To be noticed also that in human years Rory is already an adult with every right, more specifically she is physically in her early 20s, chronologically 39-40 years old. Clearly Rory doesn't take it well (look "DrivesLikeCrazy"). Rory here is also implied to be a lesbian, but not open about it, though past Mazikeen picked up on it and selected some girls for Rory to pick from to have fun. She's implied to not have a partner in the future, instead playing the field like her father, probably due to this little event with the latter.

On his first crime scene, Amenadiel has to work together with James Reiben, the officer who racially profiled him and Caleb in "Super Bad Boyfriend". Reiben has been promoted as detective, which means he has to work around with Officer Harris to solve a case that he is racially inclined not to take seriously, and prevent an innocent woman from being incarcerated. Meanwhile, Lucifer attempts to make up for all of the lost father-daughter bonding that Rory never experienced growing up.
