Shortly afterwards, Tid Pao's scam is unravelled and she is caught; although it's not shown how this happened, it's highly likely that after Connie saved Bobby at the science fair, the two informed their parents and/or the police about her crimes, which may have even resulted in her arrest. In any case, Khan then sends his troublesome niece to live with her other uncle/his other brother in rural Wisconsin, where she is put to work on her uncle's dairy farm. This uncle warns Tid Pao that he is her last uncle and therefore, her last chance to do right stateside, and that if she screws up once more, she'll be sent overseas to live with her grandmother in Laos, which is far less luxurious than the United States. So Tid Pao ends her only appearance on the show now stuck even farther away from her home in Los Angeles than before for who knows how long, and forced to undertake hard labor, all under the threat of being sent to an even worse situation for herself if she doesn't reform. One can only hope that the said threat and hard work end up changing her for the better.
