* AllForNothing: Everything Dib goes through to appease Mortos in this episode, and ultimately Mortos grants someone else's wish, as a random person walking by thinks aloud that he wants ice cream before Dib can use Mortos against Zim.
* TheBadGuyWins: Technically speaking. After all, while Dib temporarily interrupts Zim's plan to spread mutant vermin throughout the city, in the end Zim just walks away, box of vermin still in tow.
* BerserkButton: Calling Mortos a mooch sends him into an UnstoppableRage.
