Forceful Kissing is not rape, it's sexual assault.

* BothSidesHaveAPoint: It becomes apparent that neither Blitz or Verosika have any moral high ground over the other. On Verosika's part, she has every right to be mad at her ex for his excessive stealing, especially because said ex didn't even bother to make up or apologize for it, fully expecting her to just "let it go". On Blitz's part, however, she is clearly no saint. As a succubus, she does enjoy her lust-inducing job on humans, has a bad drinking addiction, stole their only parking spot that they were fairly given by the building, and doesn't hesitate to harass the other IMP employees as well. There's also a fact Verosika and her companions outright ''rape Moxxie'' to spite Blitzo.

* DisproportionateRetribution: Verosika's gang sexually assault and terrify Moxxie because of his heinous crime of asking them politely to move their car. Downplayed as it's implied they also did it to upset Blitzo more than actually caring about the car thing.

** The episode ends with Verosika telling her gang, including Tex who isn't a sex demon, to prepare to "suck a lot of pig dick" to get them out of jail, to which they all seem uncomfortable.

** Creator/EdwardBosco, one of the stars of ''WebAnimation/HazbinHotel'', cameos as one of the drunk revelers, as does Jinkx Monsoon, who played Martha in Episode 1.

They had several very romance-suggestive interactions in the episode if you actually pay attention to them when they're in the background.

* AllThereInTheScript: As revealed in [[https://archive.vn/iHKsO a tweet]] by a character designer of the show, [[https://archive.vn/iHKsO/df1a3cac5b8c8f90f2291c9a92e552380df11e8b.jpg Verosika's crew]] and a number of [[https://archive.vn/iHKsO/98d11310d46c8fcad75777dc474f47c551916ed6.jpg background humans]] featured in the episode actually have names despite not being identified as such in the episode itself. Two of them (Coco and Apple, both female) were also confirmed as a couple despite having no romantic interactions in the episode.

Trope is IUEO

* TakeThatAudience: Blitzo initially refuses to let Loona go up to the surface because spring break would have a lot of "freaks [on Earth] who would drool all over" the sight of people like her. Cue I.M.P all collectively glaring with disapproval at the camera, directly calling out [some] fans of the show and [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom "furries"]] (fans with a preference for anthropomorphic animal characters) who have supposedly taken more liking to her [[PerverseSexualLust than necessary]].

** [[DownplayedTrope That being said,]] Blitzo takes it seriously, as the above quote was delivered in a legitimately frightened tone, and the assault is the final straw that motivates him to challenge Verosika in the first place.
