* TheReveal: Ford tells Dipper Bill's ultimate plan, its to create a portal that will let him and his kind to access to Earth.

** Dipper drinking soda after a rough day with his Great Uncle. Only this time its with Ford.

* BerserkButton: Mabel nearly suffers a breakdown trying to be pure enough for the unicorns. When she finds out they deceived her, she ''snaps.''

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Mabel rarely gets angry with anyone, but she she finds out the unicorns tricked her, she is ''furious.'' It's clearly a little terrifying to Wendy, Candy, and Grenda.
** Then she punches Celestabellebethabelle in the nose for mocking her, tears the unicorn off her sweater while ''seething'', and proceeds to go after the unicorns with her bare hands.

* ThinkingOutLoud: The machine Dipper is hooked up with does this via voicing his thoughts, allowing him to basically have a conversation with himself.
* TimeAbyss: Apparently Bill is older than the Milky Way. Which is 13.21 BILLION years old.

Realizing Bill Cipher is becoming more powerful, Standford decides to shield the shack from his tricks, while Mabel goes on a quest to find a unicorn.

** In addition, Mabel was making the good deeds about self-validation instead of a way to get hair to protect the Mystery Shack. Only when she [[ViolenceReallyIsTheAnswer beats the crap out of the unicorns for their hair]] , picking the bigger-picture good over looking good, does Ford tell her that she really is a good person.
