!!! Focus: Crown, Chime, Kilo

After a hard-fought victory, the Pioneer squad gets ready to leave, as they were initially on their way to meet another Pilgrim called Nayuta, who found information to share with them. Later, Crown discusses with Chime that she wants Marian to meet the Commander again, having an ominous feeling the two should see each other again sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, Marian senses a presense outside the Crown Kingdom, and sets out to find a revived Indivilia and Chatterbox, regrouping for yet another attack on the castle. Before the two can figure out how she managed to get past their Raptures, Marian commands them to stop the attacks, and leave the Crown Kingdom alone. As if driven by instinct, they bow before her without realizing what is going on.

Later, the Kingdom comes under attack from bigger waves of Raptures than normal. As Kilo blames herself and TALOS for supposedly being at fault, Crown and Chime show her what their castle is actually protecting, a cryo-vault containing the seeds of a Superfood that could feed humanity in the future, when they succeed at retaking the surface from the Raptures. Elsewhere, the newly-regenerated Indivilia and Chatterbox, who have been directing the Raptures to attack the castle, find the secret amusing and plan to destroy the Kingdom.

Kilo and her experimental robot suit T.A.L.O.S. are lost on the surface when the Weissritter Pilgrims, Crown and Chime, transport TALOS back to their castle with Kilo inside, thinking the robot is a giant decoration. When Kilo wakes up and exits the suit, Crown soon uses her authority as "King" of the Kingdom to make her a citizen. At first, Kilo tries to escape and send a message to The Ark, but after meeting Marian and being afraid of angering her, Kilo instead uses TALOS to help the Kingdom collect materials to fortify their defenses and other treasures.

Some time later, Chime reports a big explosion from the direction of the Ark (the aftermath of Rapi's fight with Nihilister, Chatterbox and Indivilia), so she and Crown decide to investigate, leaving Marian behind to take care of the castle. Before leaving, Crown asks her if she has anything she wants to say to the Commander in case the White Knights meet him. Marian asks them to tell the Commander that she is doing well. As they leave, however, Marian wonders if she will also meet the Commander again one day.

Perilous Siege agents D and K once again call upon the Commander to investigate a politically-sensitive target, and determine if they should live or die. This time, the suspect is a Sovereign named Kalina, an upper-class socialite who has been attending and throwing lavish parties for other rich people, but after each party, someone goes missing and is never found. D and the commander disguise themselves as a rich, newlywed couple to blend in with high society and earn an invite to one of Kalina's parties. However, the mission becomes complicated when Rosanna moves in next door to their apartment, and is targeting Kalina for her own reasons.

The story is set several years in the past, during the initial Rapture invasion. The Goddess Squad, high-spec "Grimm" model Nikkes including [[LovableRogue Red Hood]], [[BabyOfTheBunch Snow White]], [[NunsNRosaries Rapunzel]], [[TeamPrimaDonna Dorothy]], relative newcomer [[BloodKnight Scarlet]], their leader [[TheAce Liliweiss]] (a.k.a. Lilith), and a [[MagneticHero charismatic human Commander]] have been racking up victories, giving hope to the United Forces of Humanity. However, the Commander and Liliweiss both acknowledge that there's only so much [[QualityVsQuantity the Goddess Squad can do on their own against the massive numbers of Raptures opposing humanity]], and even with the addition of mass-produced Nikkes that can be brought up faster, the human race is in danger of going extinct without a dramatic shift in fortune. Furthermore, Red Hood reveals to Scarlet that [[YourDaysAreNumbered she has been fighting Rapture corruption slowly eating away at her mind]].
