Dean comes over, but is held up by Babette interrogating him. Saved, he looks at Rory's room and finds her stuffed rooster. Sookie comes over to see what's going on and gets chased away by Lorelai. They eat pizza in front of the movie, and Lorelai sneaks out and sits in the kitchen before the golden goose scene. In the middle of Veruca Salt's tirade about golden geese, Rory notices Lorelai effectively excused herself and runs to the kitchen and demands Lorelai come back. Lorelai gives Dean a warning about what will happen if he doesn't treat Rory well.
