* CallBack: The argument Pete and Carol have on whether or not doughnut holes come from the same machine as doughnuts in "Dumb Deaths", is mentioned again in as Carol unexpectedly turns up at Sam and Jay's Halloween Party.
* LateToTheRealization: It takes both Carol and Sam a long while to realize the former is a ghost now.
* NotNowKiddo: Hetty and Alberta try to warn Sam that Carol is a ghost, but she waves them away because they weren't supposed to talk to her while at the party. So Hetty and Alberta decide to just let Sam make a fool of herself by talking to the unseen Carol in front of the other guests.
