Remy assumes it's because of how the bomb decimated Marion but Ray says even that doesn't disqualify the option of a closed casket. The team eventually learns that Marion possibly sexually assaulted the VillainOfTheWeek alongside a close friend of his and Ray realizes that Laisa wanted Marion cremated because she believed Marion was a rapist and thought he deserved to be punished through cremation.
