Dynasmon and [=LordKnightmon=] continue scanning more data and head for their next target...

The group of kids thanks the Mole Trailmon for her help and find themselves in what Bokomon explains to be the Steel Area. They’re found by a Sagittarimon who tries to mug them, but when the kids determine that he has nothing to do with the Royal Knights, pay him no mind. The Sagittarimon is about to attack them before he’s interrupted by the arrival of none other than four other human children, two of whom Tomoki recognizes as [[Recap/DigimonFrontierE1AllAboard the bullies who pushed him into the Trailmon at Shibuya Station]]. The four children have an Angemon accompanying them attack Sagittarimon, and Angemon manages to scare Sagittarimon enough to get him to flee.

The four kids, named Katsuharu, Teppei, Chiaki, and Teruo, explain that they also received a message on their cell phones and boarded a Trailmon to the Digital World. They eventually received another message, this time telling them to return to the human world, but refused to board the train back so that they could stay in the Digital World. Since then, they had been traveling around, having Angemon deal with any danger they ran into. Katsuharu also takes the time to apologize to Tomoki over having bullied him earlier.

Chiaki says that she hasn’t received any new messages from Ophanimon since then, and Junpei realizes that they still have phones and thus don’t have Digivices. Katsuharu demands to know why the group of six is there, and Junpei explains that they want to restore peace to the Digital World, which Katsuharu and Teppei have a hard time believing, seeing as the kids don’t seem to have any fighting Digimon with them. Takuya is about to explain that they’re the Legendary Warriors before Kouji stops him.

Kouichi tells the four kids to go home before something happens to them, and Kouji, Izumi, and Takuya explain that the Royal Knights are causing holes to appear in the Digital World. However, they refuse to leave, believing that Angemon will get them out of danger, and walk off.

Angemon appears to the kids and identifies them as the Legendary Warriors, and explains that Ophanimon called many children to the Digital World but [[RefusedByTheCall tried to send back the ones who didn’t inherit the Spirits]]. When Katsuharu, Teppei, Chiaki, and Teruo refused to leave, Ophanimon assigned Angemon to protect them, and despite Angemon’s attempts to convince them to leave, they wouldn’t listen. Bokomon sympathizes with the kids somewhat, realizing that it’s hard to expect some kids tossed aside for not being [[TheChosenOne The Chosen Ones]] to suddenly return home when ordered.

When Izumi and Junpei talk to Chiaki and Teppei, they say that life in the Digital World is more interesting than being at home, and that they’d prefer to stay in the Digital World than go home and attend school. They also explain that Katsuharu and Teppei have become able to vent out their repressed anger as catharsis in the Digital World.

Meanwhile, as Tomoki watches over the scene alone, Teppei approaches him and attempts to bully him into getting his friends to go home. Katsuharu, however, intervenes and tells Teppei that they came to the Digital World so they wouldn’t have to do things like bullying Tomoki. He then turns to Tomoki, saying that Teppei does have a point in that Tomoki is too weak to be in the Digital World, but Tomoki lashes back and says that ''they'' are the weak ones for hiding behind Angemon.

The Sagittarimon returns with an army of Kentarumon[[note]]Centarumon[[/note]], hoping to take revenge on all of the kids. Angemon tries to fight them off, but another portion of the army unexpectedly charges in from behind, and Katsuharu, Teppei, and Tomoki are forced to run, but Teppei ends up falling over. With Katsuharu not brave enough to pull him out, Teppei is close to being trampled before Tomoki pulls a DivingSave, gets him out of there, and takes on the Kentarumon by spirit evolving to Blizzarmon (and startling Katsuharu, Teppei, Chiaki, and Teruo). The other kids follow up by also spirit evolving and joining the fight. As Katsuharu ahd Teppei watch Blizzarmon fight, Bokomon says that Tomoki was able to obtain his Spirit due to his courage.

With the army distracted, Angemon manages to send Sagittarimon flying in only one hit, and the Kentarumon army flees with the loss of their commander. Katsuharu apologizes for calling Tomoki weak and Teppei thanks him for saving him, and the four kids decide to leave the Digital World, now believing Takuya’s statement about the Digital World being dangerous. However, they’re suddenly interrupted by the Royal Knights, who immediately kill and scan Angemon and kidnaps Katsuharu, Teppei, Chiaki, and Teruo in the hopes of fulfilling their “plan”. Trying to save them, Tomoki grabs onto the net the four are trapped in, and the other five are held back from following by one of [=LordKnightmon=]’s attacks.

Now with the four children trapped in a net and Tomoki clinging onto it, the two Royal Knights head off for a beanstalk in the distance.

* EpilepticTrees: Many a fan has speculated the four children to somehow have been the four evil Legendary Warriors, due to their gender ratio matching up perfectly (three males and one female). It doesn’t make much sense, considering that it creates [[PlotHole Plot Holes]] everywhere and contradicts canon in many points, but it’s brought up here and there among more speculative theories.
