[[caption-width-right:350:'''Sandra:''' This doesn't bode well for the Bank! And the Wolf Street Stock Exchange! Clarissa Rochester played a huge part in the city's financial life!]]

The Flying Squad arrives to Wolf Street, the financial center of Concordia, to investigate which member of the Rochester family was in cahoots with Vittorio Capecchi and his illegal business back in Coyote Gorge, as the Rochesters have a stronghold over the district. Once there, Isaac and the player are informed about the death of Clarissa Rochester, head of the Bank of Concordia, who was murdered by being poisoned during a luncheon at her residency.

!!Tropes:
*AdoptionIsNotAnOption: In a twist of this trope, it was Horatio, Clarissa's father, who prohibited from adopting a child, claiming that he wasn't going to let a StreetUrchin enjoy his wealth.
*AllMenArePerverts: In addition to giving Francine a FlirtatiousSmackOnTheAss, you also find a photo of Larry with a bunch of women in bikinis [[MoneyFetish rolling in money]], which the victim tried to report.
*BankRobbery: {{Subverted}}. Samuel unlawfully enters Clarissa's bank vault during the investigation, but doesn't steals any money. Instead, he does it to recover a device that recorded conversations between him and the victim.
*BigFancyHouse: Most of the case takes place in the victim's house, which is as big and fancy as you'd expect from a Bank director who also happens to be a member of the city's most influential family.
*BitchSlap: Francine gives Larry a pretty satisfactory one after he gropes her butt without permission. It even serves as this page's image.
*TheBusCameBack: Samuel Waldorf-Ridgewood returns after his first appearance back in [[Recap/CriminalCaseMysteriesOfThePastCase10LetHerEatCake Case 10.]]
*CallBack: [[Recap/CriminalCaseMysteriesOfThePastCase33HoldYourTongue Horatio Rochester]] and [[Recap/CriminalCaseMysteriesOfThePastCase34StickToYourGuns Deputy Mayor Sandra Hwang]] reappear as suspects.
*{{Cliffhanger}}: The case ends with Evie informing you that the Wolf Street Stock Market has collapsed as a result of Clarissa's death, and panic is now spreading in the district.
*ClosetGay: Clarissa was in a SecretRelationship with Francine, her maid, but broke up with her due to wanting to adopt a child, which required her to have an impeccable reputation due to being unmarried, and being in a lesbian relationship could tarnish said reputation.
*ContinuityNod:
**When you find a recording device at the victim's vault, Isaac recalls how the player found a similar one at the victim's cab in [[Recap/CriminalCaseMysteriesOfThePastCase31BridgeOverTroubledWater Case 31.]]
**During the Additional Investigation, you come across a photo of Horatio and Vittorio having pasta [[Recap/CriminalCaseMysteriesOfThePastCase32CivilBlood at Luigi's delicatessen.]]
*CooperationGambit: After being arrested for unlawful entry in the victim's vault, Samuel offers to cooperate with the Rochester investigation in exchange for a more lenient sentence, giving you access to his camera where he has photos of Horatio interacting with Vittorio.
*FiringDay: You find out that Clarissa wanted to fire Francine for supposedly delivering her tea wrong once, but you later discover it was because Clarissa wanted to break up with her.
*FlirtatiousSmackOnTheAss: Larry did this with Francine during the investigation, which led to the BitchSlap moment described above.
*{{Foreshadowing}}:
**After the trial, Chief Wright claims that "a charming lady gave him the warmest smile" at a Rochester party, which refers to [[spoiler:Bernadine Rochester, his romantic interest that you will meet in [[Recap/CriminalCaseMysteriesOfThePastCase41TalkOfTheTown Case 41.]]]]
**When you inform Sandra Hwang of Horatio and his illegal business with Vittorio, she seems apathetic of the situation, claiming that there's no proof and eve refusing to investigate further. [[spoiler:Which makes sense, considering she's corrupt and in cahoots with the Rochesters, something you don't discover until [[Recap/CriminalCaseMysteriesOfThePastCase42TheHeartOfTheMatter Case 42.]]]]
*FrenchMaid: Francine, the victim's maid, dresses in a stereotypical French maid uniform.
*HangoverSensitivity: Maddie has to be replaced by Isaac at the start of the case due to suffering from a hangover, as she celebrated the end of the alcohol prohibition with lots of hard drinking. A portion of the Additional Investigation focuses on Charlie and Viola creating a concoction to help her recover.
*HauteCuisineIsWeird: What Isaac thinks of one of the killer's traits.
-->'''Isaac:''' Caviar, laced with real gold? Well blow me down! What will the rich think of next?
*IdleRich: Larry Rochester, a LazyBum who criticizes the victim for working despite already being rich. Even the suspect list labels him as "Gentleman of Leisure".
-->'''Larry:''' She worked! In the bank! Despite being rich already! A Rochester, throwing her life away like that!
*IfICantHaveYou: Francine killed Clarissa after she broke up with her to hide their lesbian relationship, claiming that she's rather see Clarissa dead than living happily without her.
*InnocentCohabitation: During the Additional Investigation, Charlie asks Maddie to let him live at her house since he got kicked out from his apartment, and even clarifies that he doesn't plan to do anything "inappropriate".
*LazyBum: Due to being an IdleRich, Larry Rochester prefers doing the bare minimum and enjoy his life as a rich man. He even argues that he couldn't have killed Clarissa because he's too lazy to come up with a murder plan.
-->'''Larry:''' Besides, I'm averse to the degree of exertion involved in plotting murders and ransacking vaults. I am a gentleman of leisure!
*{{Manchild}}: Despite being 37-years-old, Larry behaves like an entitled SpoiledBrat who throws a tantrum when Francine calls you on him for smacking her butt.
*MarriedToTheJob: Larry claims that the victim was this, wondering why an already rich person like her would bother with working instead of living a life of relaxation like him.
*NervousWreck: As a result of the victim being the head of Concordia's most important bank and a member of the Rochester family, Chief Wright is shown to be absolutely wrecked over the case, fearing what will happen if you don't manage to solve it.
-->'''Chief Wright:''' No, no, <Player's Name>, I can't bear to hear more! The Rochesters, the Deputy Mayor... This is a social disaster. I'd better go! Do what you must... just be discreet!
-->'''Isaac:''' [[SarcasmMode Why, thanks for the great advice, Chief...]]
*NotProven: After you find a photo of Horatio making business with Vittorio and his stolen lands in Coyote Gorge, Horatio defends himself claiming that he knew nothing about the illegality of the whole ordeal and even compensated the affected residents, making him immune of any repercussions.
*OhCrap: Isaac has this reaction when you find out Clarissa was none other than [[ThePatriarch Horatio]]'s daughter, meaning you must interrogate one of the most powerful men in Concordia again.
*OnlyOneName: The victim's FrenchMaid and killer is simply called Francine.
*PsychoLesbian: Francine killed Clarissa for breaking up with her to hide the fact they were in a lesbian relationship, believing that she shouldn't be happy with anyone but her.
*ShoutOut:
** In the The Victim's Vault scene, there is a satirical version of ''Girl with a Pearl Earring''.
** ''Theatre/{{Hamlet}}'' is quoted.
** The stock market collapsing at the end of the case is a parody of the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panic_of_1873 Panic of 1873.]]
*SingleIssueLandlord: During the Additional Investigation, Charlie tells you that her landlady finally got tired of his dangerous experiments and kicked him out after accidentally making a hole in the wall.
*TamperingWithFoodAndDrink: The victim was killed by having her champagne laced with a poisonous plant.
*UpperClassTwit: As expected from a {{Manchild}} LazyBum of the Rochester family, Larry is shown to be quite unpleasant.
-->'''Isaac:''' Larry Rochester? We haven't had the pleasure of meeting him yet... But if he mints coins with his own face, I don't expect him to be humble and unassuming.
*WoundedGazelleGambit: Francine, the victim's killer, is also the one who reported the murder, and also cries for Clarissa when you interrogate her the first time.
