#"Man or Machine, Part 5": The Centurions, with some help from Skyvault, have stopped the asteroid storm that Gog caused to kill all humanity on Earth, and although the alien computer has finally been destroyed, its last weapon has been released.

#"Man or Machine, Part 4": The Centurions successfully retake Skyvault from Terror's control, but now they must free the scientists within the captured Sealab, as well as release the people held as hostages within Gog's island fortress. Meanwhile, Gog enacts a plan to purge all lifeforms from Earth.

Uniborg soon [[TurnedAgainstTheirMasters goes rogue]] and takes over Dominion, forcing Doc Terror and Hacker to flee and be captured for their crimes on humanity. Meanwhile, Uniborg creates a new cyborg brain to be installed on Dominion's MechaMooks, and announces its intention to take over the world, starting off with the three facilities connecting Skyvault to Earth — Sand Castle, Fire Castle and Ice Castle. The Centurions are seemingly defeated on Sand Castle and about to be finished off by Uniborg's superior MechaMooks.
#"The Better Half, Part II": Although Crystal succeeds in beaming the defeated Centurions out of danger, they're unable to fight back, and with Max seriously injured, they're forced to abandon Sand Castle to Uniborg. To find out who the new villain is and how can [[AFormYouAreComfortableWith "he"]] be defeated, Ace and Jake confront the captured Doc Terror, demanding his help to stop Uniborg. Doc Terror reveals "who" Uniborg really is, but refuses to help the heroes. As Uniborg takes over Fire Castle (in exchange for sparing the injured Jake's life) Doc Terror grows desperate to see Uniborg coming closer to achieve world domination, and demands to see Ace to help him take out the rogue AI — but Terror will help the Centurion in his own terms: have himself and his henchman released, and thus be left on their own to recapture Dominion and deal with Uniborg, while Ace is left on Ice Castle to defend it and distract Uniborg.

#"Man or Machine, Part 3": Just as he is about to be finished by Magog, John is teleported... into Skyvault, to be captured by Terror himself. Meanwhile, the three original Centurions test their new Assault Systems in the field, and Rex, armed with his Gatling Guard, neutralizes the effects of Doctor Terror's machine-controlling beam, that he had launched over the city from Skyvault. With the help of Lucy, Crystal escapes capture and soon she frees John as well. They are forced to shut down the power over Skyvault, but without power, the space station begins to fall to Earth. Doc Terror launches a Strafer attack on Skyvault, just to ensure its destruction.

#"Man or Machine, Part 2": A flashback shows the origins of Doctor Terror as well as that of his enemies the Centurions. Terror, then a younger, ambitious and fully human scientist, has saved Hacker, then a petty human thug and thief, from being captured by the police, and after recruiting him to his cause with promises of power, Terror converts Hacker into his current cyborg form. Terror then presents the cyber-augmented Hacker to his peers, arguing for the worldwide conversion of humans into cyborgs but is rejected by his scientist colleagues who are disgusted by his unethical work, and Terror leaves in disgrace but swearing vengeance. Back in Terror's hideout Hacker panics, asking Terror to be reverted back to his human body, but when Terror tells him the process is irreversible, he freaks out and causes an accident that gravely injures Terror's left half of his body, and he has no choice other than to become a cyborg as well to save himself — but Terror smiles in joy at the sight of his new cyborg body. Soon after, Terror sends Hacker and his MechaMooks to attack facilities that serve his purposes — but in one of the attacks, Hacker is forced to retreat by Max Ray, who is wearing a new special suit, known as an Exo-Suit, that gives him SuperStrength. Max is soon joined by two other men, Ace and Jake, and the three of them are commissioned as the Centurions — the only force capable of stopping Doc Terror and his evil plans for world conquest. In the present, Gog helps Terror in creating a weapon that puts robots and other machines under Terror's control, and with this new weapon, Terror, Hacker and Magog infiltrate Skyvault, capturing Crystal and taking over the space station. The Centurions, now stationed at the Centurion Academy, soon realize that Skyvault is now controlled by Terror, and they send John Thunder to infiltrate Centrum in order to retrieve a disc containing the location of the Academy to prevent it from falling into Terror's grasp. John succeeds in retrieving the disc but has to face Magog, and the powerful robot proves to be immune to John's vibro-knife.

#"Man or Machine, Part 1": Hacker, working for Doctor Terror, steals a disc containing information about the location of a small star in the Milky Way. With this information, Terror receives a radio transmission from the star, that tells him information to construct a special machine, that the deranged scientist believes will be the key in defeating the Centurions and conquering Earth. Meanwhile the Centurions are introduced to their new Assault Weapon Systems — the Strato Strike for Ace, the Fathom Fan for Max, and the Awesome Auger for Jake. But that isn't all, as the Centurions are now joined by two more members: Rex Charger, the energy specialist and John Thunder, the infiltrations specialist. As the original Centurions greet their new members in the force, Terror has finished constructing the machine — which turns out to be an alien AI, who identifies himself as Gog, hailing from a world once inhabitated by HumanAliens, but who left behind AIs like Gog himself. Using Doc Terror's machines, Gog has in turn created Magog, a hulking robot that acts as Gog's enforcer.
