Bluey tells her doll, Polly, that Stripe, Trixie, and her cousins are coming over, and the women will play hockey while the men and kids will play horsey. They arrive, and Chilli has Bluey put Polly away lest the cousins drool on her/it. However, Bluey drops the doll when Bandit hugs her. Stripe and his family enter, and unfortunately Socks chews on Polly. The women leave, while the guys want to watch cricket, but the girls want to play horsey.

Outside, the Heeler brothers act as the horses, with Bluey leading them and Bingo and Muffin riding on their respective fathers. Muffin decides Stripe needs more glitter on him, so Bluey goes to get some, only to find Socks chewing on Polly to her dismay.

The guys, Bingo, and Muffin come over to help, but Socks threatens to bite anyone who takes Polly. The other girls decide to distract Socks from Polly by having her play horsey with them, and they decide to have the "horses" get "married".

So, Bluey, Bingo, and Muffin hold a play wedding, complete with Bandit in a top hat and Stripe in drag, but Socks still doesn't let go of Polly. When the men try to speak, Muffin yells at them because "horses can't talk", and then she and Bluey demand that they say, "I do" in "horsey talk".

Stripe then runs away, although he still pretends to be a horse while doing so. The girls (except Socks, who is still chewing on Polly) chase after him, while he tries to watch cricket and then neighs at Socks. She drops Polly, Muffin and Bingo jump on him, and Bluey gets Polly back. Then, the girls bring Stripe back and finish the play wedding.

When the ladies come back, they are bemused to hear Bingo declare that "Uncle Stripe married Dad".
