* FiveStagesOfGrief: Cricket goes through the five stages based on his experience with the now teenaged Hector. He’s initially in denial over his sudden growth spurt and personality change and says no to Bill when he quips Hector has gotten older (Denial), gets upset and angry when he tries to remind him of the past only to get pulled away by the other teens and even screams against Remy asking him to accept his changes (Anger), willingly takes him away from the teen party to have him on Junk Mountain all to himself, feels guilty when he sees Hector misses his new friends and lets him go back to the party (Depression), and finally accepts Hector's new life and lets him move on, and gives his former slot to his little sister Lupita (Acceptance).

* LoserHorns: In Tilly's second imagine spot, she is leading a New Orleans-style funeral parade on a hearse when a vampire attacks her. As the hearse drives off a cliff, a skeleton plays "Wah-wah-waaah!" on the trombone.

* ImagineSpot: Tilly looks for a dream car in the junkyard and imagines what will be like driving, but each one ends badly. First she chooses a sports car, but imagines getting a speeding ticket. Next up is a hearse, but then a vampire inside the casket attacks her. Finally, she chooses a hot dog mobile, but a dog attacks it.

During a visit to the junkyard, Cricket sees his old friend Hector has gotten older and has changed, and tries to get him to bring out the fun he still has in him. Meanwhile, Tilly tries to find her dream car.
