Seeking to earn money in order to purchase some photos of Lydia, Beetlejuice poses as a handyman and offers to fix the Deetz’s leaking sink- for a fee, of course. After his solo attempt goes [[HarmlessElectrocution shockingly]] awry, BJ returns with professional help- sentient tools from the Neitherworld Hardware Store. Unfortunately, said tools don’t seem to like him very much…

!! This episode contains examples of
* AnimateInanimateObject: All of the tools from the Neitherworld Hardware Store are sentient.
* DoItYourselfPlumbingProject: Charles insists on trying - and failing - to fix a leaky faucet in one episode. To earn money to buy one of Lydia's photos, Beetlejuice disguises himself as a handyman named Mr. Beetleman, and offers to fix it for him. Of course, he's even worse at it than Charles.
-->'''Mr. Beetleman''': Where’s the drip?
-->'''Delia''': In the kitchen, trying to fix the leak.
* HandyMan: BJ poses as one and attempts to fix some leaking water pipes.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: One of the sentient tools is a jackhammer who looks (and talks) oddly like Creator/JackNicholson.
* PunBasedCreature: Among the living tools Beetlejuice picks up from the Neitherworld Hardware Store are a Creator/JackNicholson jackhammer, a DrillSergeantNasty power drill, and a [[MischiefMakingMonkey Mischief-Making Monkey Wrench]].
* SpannerInTheWorks: As part of a downright ludicrous StealthPun, a literal monkey wrench acts as a figurative “monkey wrench in the works”... by acting like a MischiefMakingMonkey.
