Ironically, Jack Moore (present-day William) ''does'' appear, reprising his role one final time.

* AdultFear: A secondhand variation where Lyla worries she and John won't be able to get Oliver's child back the way he gave them both of theirs back.

* TookALevelInKindness: Roy notes how much nicer Moira is to him, compared to her former self. This is also shown when she welcomes Emiko into her family, when she forced Robert to disown her pre-crisis.

** The opening is seemingly a replay of Moira’s death...and then Oliver breaks his bonds to tackle Slade which cuts to Moira in the present, still alive and talking of how Oliver saved her.

** Averted for Robert Queen, Original!Laurel, and Oliver himself, the only three people whose resurrections would have prevented the new universe's creation. Robert and Laurel because their deaths were so formative for Oliver, and Oliver because if he never died, he never would have become the Spectre and therefore never would have [[CosmicRetcon rebooted the universe]].

** Talia treats the forced marriage between Nyssa and Oliver as a PetTheDog moment from Ra's, believing that he wanted Nyssa to have a normal life. Nyssa, [[IncompatibleOrientation a gay woman]], is not amused, seeing it as little more than a joke.

** Dinah is last seen getting on her bike and leaving Star City, with no hint as to how she was taken 20 years into the future and had her existence [[RetGone Ret-Goned]]. Presumably, this is so that the mystery can stay a major StoryArc in ''Green Arrow and the Canaries''.

** Oliver didn't bring back his father, since he didn't want to disrupt the timeline that would cause him to never become Green Arrow. But does that also mean Emiko still didn't warn Robert about Malcom Merlyn's sabotage of the ''Queen's Gambit'' (due to Robert still rejecting her), like in the original timeline?

* WhamShot: Something crashes in front of Diggle and when he investigates he finds a small box that holds something with a [[Franchise/GreenLantern rather familiar green glow]].
