* StatusQuoIsGod: By the episode's end, Anne is stuck with one shoe and leaves (plus a stick) in her hair again after spending time in the Amphibian Wilds. Interestingly, her parents did pack her an extra pair of shoes in case this happened, but she isn't going to reach for them anytime soon.

* DramaticIrony: For now, Anne can rest easy knowing Marcy is alive but taken prisoner. The bad news is, Anne doesn’t realize Marcy got possessed.
* EasilyForgiven: Unlike the other times, such as in "The Third Temple" and in "True Colors", Anne is quick to forgive and trust Sasha, happy to see one of her best friends still alive. The fact that Sasha tried to hold Andrias to let Anne and Marcy escape (it half-worked unfortunately), not to mention is shown to have undergone heaps of genuine CharacterDevelopment, does help Sasha's case. One way or another, Anne makes it clear she doesn’t hate Sasha.
** It also helps that she says they'll "Work on their own baggage later", illustrating that this doesn't necessarily mean everything is peachy forever, but there's more important things to focus on for now. Anne does default to thinking that Sasha's absolute refusal to take back command over the resistance despite Anne's [[GeneralFailure ineptitude]] with the position is another of her manipulation tactics rather than Sasha's [[TheAtoner remorse]] over her ControlFreak tendencies, so clearly she's still not fully over Sasha's last betrayal and has some reluctance to completely trust her despite knowing that logically she needs to work with her former friend.

* GoingNative: The Plantars retroactively discover that their time on Earth has made them this, with Polly eager to use Anne's phone to call for a ride despite that not working in a medieval society and Hop Pop desiring hand sanitizer after re-discovering how dirty Amphibia actually is.

* GoshDarnItToHeck: '''WHAT THE HECK, BOONCHUY?!'''[[note]]You can almost hear the PrecisionFStrike in her voice[[/note]]

* HypercompetentSidekick: Sasha is clearly more qualified than Anne to lead the resistance, especially since she didn't go back on Earth, and thus out of the loop, for months, but she's so scared of messing up with Anne again that she refuses to take the position back for most of the episode despite Anne repeatedly trying to resign in her favor.

** Loggle has gained ''huge'' muscles since we last saw him, and he even lampshades how even ''he's'' surprised that he had it in him. Likewise, the rest of Wartwood has collectively taken one of these when they formed the Resistance, utilising team tactics and their unique skills to perform gurrellia warfare against Andrias' forces with a surprising amount of success, thanks to Sasha's leadership and Grime training the recruits.

* WideEyesAndShrunkenIrises: Inverted. Sasha ''[[SuddenEyeColor gains]]'' blue irises, along with a VoiceOfTheLegion, when [[DeathGlare making it clear]] to Grime that with Anne back, she is ''not'' interested in having a position of authority over her again in case she screws up after having just gotten her friend back.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Anne has demonstrated qualities of TheLeader before, being the one to organise Wartwood when escaping Toad Tower and plan out a counter-attack during Sasha and Grime's toad uprising, but those were crisis points where Anne was mainly [[IndyPloy making up her plans in the moment]], which is a ''huge'' difference from overseeing a long-term resistance movement against Andrias' forces. Whilst she can preform well under pressure, Anne is still not used to the burden of leadership like Sasha is, and accordingly her attempts to lead the resistance to destroy the factory [[GeneralFailure are a disaster]]. This is not helped by Anne and the Plantars having been [[LockedOutOfTheLoop absent]] whilst Wartwood took a collective [[TookALevelInBadass level in asskicking]] as resistance fighters, leaving her unaware of how capable they've become and the landscape having been heavily altered by Andrias' machines and strip-mining, creating hazards that Anne is too inexperienced to handle immediately after returning from Earth.
*** Relatedly, Sasha's desire to [[TheAtoner make up for her past mistakes]] drives her to cede all authority and decision-making to Anne out of fear she could slip back into bad habits again if she starts taking any position of authority over her friend again. However, whilst Sasha ''did'' have some ControlFreak issues, her episodes demonstrated that, whilst she wound up taking things too far, her being in charge was usually a ''good'' thing for her allies, since she was a capable strategist, organiser and leader, improving Grime's forces in Toad Tower to an efficient army, getting Grime out of his slump and arranging the Toad uprising with few resources on hand. Just because Sasha made some bad choices doesn't mean that being in control wasn't [[TheLeader one of her strong points]], and accordingly, her choosing to reject one of her best strengths makes her basically TheLoad on the mission and contributes to Anne's mis-management of their forces.
** Anne decides to cross the chasm surrounding the factory by having the frogs form a [[HumanLadder frog ladder]] based on a scene she saw in a movie once. Whilst it ''looks'' like they're tall enough to reach the other side, Anne didn't actually check the width of the gap properly beyond eyeballing it, and the resistance members turn out to be short of reaching the other side by a foot. The only thing that saves them from the spikes lining the chasm bottom is a protruding branch Sprig manages to grab onto before they all fully fall in.

* MusclesAreMeaningful: Loggie has apparently been working out every day since Sasha formed the resistance and has gotten ''ripped'' from it, not to mention [[WeightTaller gained about a foot in height]], to the point he's unrecognisable until he takes his helmet off when meeting Anne again.

Anne is made leader of the Wartwood Resistance, even though she's not good at the job.

* DieOrFly: Inverted. Since Sasha refuses to lead the team because of her guilt about what she did the last she tried to call the shots, Anne literally jumps into the snake’s mouth, forcing the former to take control of the situation.

* LuminescentBlush: When Sasha takes the helmet back from Anne, she briefly uses the visor to hide her face and that she's blushing.

** Sasha's arms are even mpre toned than they'd been when she reappeared in the latter half of Season 2, made especially noticeable next to Anne's own twig-like limbs. She effortlessly lifts the combined weight of the resistance members that were about to fall from a cliff, and that includes Loggle.
