* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Frobo's head can be seen chilling with Polly in the first part of the episode. But he's soon forgotten when the robot attacks and the Boonchuy-Plantar clan vamoose out of the house via car. Justified since he's currently incapable of moving on his own and the family don't have time to pick up up and flee with him -- not to mention the assassin literally cannot spare the time to kill any other target that isn't Anne.

* AnAesop: Let people know what's going on. If you try to hide things, not only will you feel guilty about keeping secrets, you may lose control of the narrative before you have a chance to admit everything, leading to misunderstandings.

* DropTheHammer: Mrs. Boonchuy goes to town on the assassin with a sledgehammer when it's about to kill Anne, caving its head in and snapping part of its leg off with the force of her swings.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Andrias arming Cloak-bot's self-destruct mechanism immediately upon being told Anne's still alive veers between this and KickTheDog. On the one hand, the assassin had no problems trying to ''kill'' a 13-year-old girl and had clearly begun to relish the thought of succeeding. On the other hand, it had been nothing but loyal to Andrias and followed his orders as best it could, even succeeding in getting the next-available book he wanted to the best of its ability, and only failing in killing Anne due to the interference of outside factors. It's worth pointing out that at least one of its attempts on her life failed because of the very orders ''Andrias himself gave it'', but he doesn't care to hear the assassin's explanation and just one-sidedly activates the timer with an ultimatum, making it very clear he's uncaring of the robot's personal circumstances or efforts to appease him beyond the results.

* AccidentallyAccurate: Polly named Frobo by combining "frog" and "robot", having learned the latter from a game on Anne's phone. In this episode, it turns out that Frobo's robot line actually are called "frobots", as shown in a FreezeFrameBonus from the assassin's POV when it catches his signal.

** {{Lampshaded}} again in regard to Mrs. Boonchuy, as her husband calls her 'mom' for Anne's benefit when speaking directly to her, rather than using her first name.
** {{Subverted}} with the assassin, which Andrias finally reveals is named 'Cloak-Bot', assuming that's not a nickname [[FauxAffablyEvil he]] gave it, but it's shortly afterwards destroyed for good in this episode, and nobody else ever learns its designation.

* PreMortemOneLiner: Anne calls out, "Not on ''my'' watch!" Just before she uses her SuperMode to kick the Cloak-bot into space so it can self-destruct and leave them safe and sound.

* YouHaveFailedMe: Andrias gets annoyed at the assassin when it reluctantly admits Anne is still living and activates its self-destruct function, threatening to blow it up should it fail in killing her within the hour, without giving it a chance to explain how close it's gotten during prior attempts to successfully finishing her off. Given he was already wearing the device he uses to activate the bomb from the beginning of the call, not to mention the sheer [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill power the blast has]], it's implied that the self-destruct was always his fallback plan if the Assassin couldn't directly terminate Anne, choosing instead to wipe her out along with potentially ''thousands'' of innocent civilians if she was still alive as Andrias' timescale for the invasion draws closer.

* BrokenMasquerade: Meeting the Plantars somewhat broke the Masquarade for them, but being attacked by Andrias' assassin demonstrates to the Boonchuys that this other world they've only recently found out about is planning to launch an invasion of theirs very soon, and their daughter is caught firmly in the middle of it.
* ConservationOfNinjitsu: Andrias only sent the one Robot assassin after Anne, but given she needs to tap into her SuperMode to fight it off, it's clearly a cut above the rest of the MechaMooks Andrias has made up to this point.
* GodzillaThreshold: To fight off the robot assassin, Anne not only needs to tap into her SuperMode again, but has to unleash the full extent of her power in front of her parents, showcasing both the changes brought onto her by her time in Amphibia as well as the extent of the higher stakes they're facing against Andrias' coming invasion.
* InternalReveal: The Boonchuys getting attacked by Andrias' assassin forced Anne and the Plantars to reveal both the truth about why they're in earth as well as the fact that Anne is Now a EmpoweredBadassNormal to them.

* CallingTheYoungWomanOut: Mrs. Boonchuy calls Anne out for not telling the truth about Andrias' invasion when the Cloak-Bot's pursuits cause the masquerade to completely unravel.
