The tigers are flying over Polderstadt, and break into the antique store where their sources say the bottle has been taken, but they don't find it.

At Alfred's house the party ends and the guests go home. Alfred says goodbyes to Ollie and Pikkie, and shows the bottle to Henk, and they laugh about the Genie story. Alfred doesn't want Henk to leave too, because he's not used to being alone.

The tigers are trashing the antique store looking for the bottle, only to notice that it's not there. The owner suddendly returns and the tigers ambush him, demanding to know about the bottle, andhe tells them he has already sold it.

Ollie and Pikke, who had been flying together, part ways at Ollie's house when Pikkie continues to his own home.

When Henk leaves, Alfred is tired but can't sleep so he starts reading Snel's book. Coincidentally, the story he reads is about Aladdin and the magic lamp.

Meanwhile, the tigers are climbing to Ollie's house on the roof, trick him into opening the door, and attack him demanding for the bottle. Ollie refuses to answer without an explanation, and is even more curious when they promise to pay him if he gives the bottle and threaten to kill him if he doesn't. He escapes when they attack, and they chase after him with the flying carpet when he taunts them and flies away. They catch Ollie quickly and make him talk.

In his house, Alfred becomes curious of the bottle's contents, but doesn't get the cork off on the first attempt. He decides to open the bottle outside, so that the "smoke" won't dirty his new house. While he's walking with a lantern, Alfred notices theflying carpet passing overhead but dismisses it as a hallucination.

The tigers arrive at Alfred's house, but the bottle is obviously not there.

Alfred runs into Dolf who asks him what he's doing, and after Alfred tells him the bottle is a gift from Ollie, calls it cheap-looking. Alfred leaves suddendly, and Dolf sputters before he walks away glancing in Alfred's direction. He's somehow suspicious.

It's almost midnight, and the tigers talk about the prophecy, revealing that the bottle is actually not going to open on it's own, and instead fate will decide somebody to open it, and they fear Alfred is the one. They go looking for him with the flying carpet. Time is wasted when the carpet goes haywire and escapes.

Alfred's examining the bottle at the riverbank, where he thinks about the genie story and unsuccesfully tries to pen the cork as Dolf watches from hifing. Alfred gives up and thinks about the genie story he read and the one Ollie told him. Then, possibly due to the Evil Genie of Darkness' influence, he starts hallucinating different fairy tale-type genies; annold human man who fulfills his every wish and creates a buffet in gold cups which he mimes eating, and when Alfred stops to think that the bottle could contain something horrible, he hallucinates a monstrous feline genie who causes him to scream and cower. When Alfred starts wondering about the genie's gender, he hallucinates a beautiful duck woman ggenie who dances with him. Dolf, who has observed the situation, hasn't seen any of the genies, only Alfred miming his hallucinatory actions, and thinks that the duck has gone crazy.

Midnight has come, and the tigers who still haven't found Alfred are praying for god to protect their country and give them strenght to fight against the Evil Genie of Darkness. The tigers spot Dolf, who walks up to Alfred to ask what's wrong. Alfred snaps out of the hallucination and asks Dolf to help him with the bottle's cork. Dolf holds the bottle and Alfred pulls the cork, and when the tigers call out to them it's too late and the corkncomes off, freeing the Genie. The tigers cower on the ground, but at first nothing seems to happen. When Dolf peeks inside the bottle, the smoke suddendly bursts out, shocking and confusing both him and Alfred. The Genie shows himself and demands to know who opened the bottle, promising to "reward" the opener. Dolf immediately claims to have opened the bottle, eager to get sonething out of this. When the Genie reveals that his "reward" is to be eaten alive, Dolf is quick to swear that he didn't do it, using the cork Alfred's still holding as proof. The Genie lets Dolf go and he runs away, leaving Alfred screaming for his help.

As the Genie is about to eat him alive, Alfred tries to use the same trick the sheikh's ancestor used two hundred years ago, asking the Genie to show how he fit inside the bottle, but the Genie's memory suddendly returns and he remembers the trick before he's fully in the bottle and before Alfred can plug it. The Genie is about to burst out to attack Alfred, but is stuck and fails to eat Alfred because his hands are trapped. He tries to bribe Alfred into helping him, but when Alfred approaches him with his lantern, herealizes that the light is hurting the Genie, and starts tormenting him by alternately backing down and alternately shoving the light in the Genie's face. He then uses the light to force the Genie into the bottle, trolling him one last time by taking the lantern away so that his head can remanifest and then shoving it back, forcing the last whiffs of the smoke inside the bottle and then plugging it. Alfred then notices that the tigers' carpet can fly and passes out from sustained shock when they're thanking him.

In the morning, the tigers gift Afred an ornamental turban with a gem on the top as the sheikh's gift. Alfred bows in thanks and the tigers go back home, waving him goodbyes and flying off into sunrise.
