->"This is the game which is more interesting as a lawsuit than it is as a video game. What the hell am I talking about? Well...the developers of this game, Spark Unlimited, much like Infinity Ward, used to work for Creator/ElectronicArts, making ''VideoGame/MedalOfHonor'' games. However, they left, and Electronic Arts promptly sued them for, among other things, supposedly not returning texture libraries and various other things. That was settled out of court by Creator/{{Activision}}, and Activision then set them to work on making ''VideoGame/CallOfDutyFinestHour,'' which they then promptly did not make. In fact, in one of the development masters, [[EpicFail they had only made one level of a game that was supposed to have fifteen]]. So Activision had to make six of the levels themselves, and also had to outsource making two versions of it to other development houses, and [[NetworkToTheRescue generally help the shit out of Spark Unlimited]]. Spark Unlimited [[NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished then sued them for it]] (!), saying that among other things, they didn't accept them picking up the sequel, and that they hired away some of their employees, so this is basically, Spark Unlimited is the people that Activision didn't want. Activision then sued them right the hell back, and that was only settled out of court with Creator/{{Codemasters}}[[note]]publishers of their next game, ''VideoGame/TurningPointFallOfLiberty''[[/note]] when they named them in the lawsuit, so yes, all very fun stuff. And half of the people who Spark Unlimited have made games for...have sued them later."

->''So, just to sum up where we are right now:'' VideoGame/StreetFighterII'', biggest game of this generation, people want a sequel. So Creator/{{Capcom}} asks the producer of'' Street Fighter II ''to return, and he says "no". So, desperate for ideas, Capcom gets somebody who had never made a fighting game before but was currently working on a fighting game that everyone said looked bad, and they said "[[DolledUpInstallment Let's just shove Ryu in there and make it]]'' VideoGame/StreetFighterIII''." Then they brought that ''Street Fighter II ''producer back, but made him work on this game, while also working on [[VideoGame/StreetFighterAlpha a prequel game]] that had [[ChristmasRushed a far more hellish development schedule]], meaning he had to focus all of his attention on that game, basically leaving the'' Street Fighter III ''staff to fend for themselves. They then promoted the guy who had never made a fighting game to a producer role, despite the fact he had no idea how to be a producer. They then filled his old position with two guys, neither of whom had ever made a video game. This team, made up mostly of people who didn't know anything about fighting games, now had to make the brand new'' Street Fighter'', on a brand-new arcade system, while throwing out there every idea they possibly could, including using mocap for some reason, because f*ck it, nothing matters anymore. After working like this for'' '''years''''', brand-new developers, who did know how to make a fighting game, were brought on, and asked them, "Okay, so what have you got so far?"
