* The Franchise/Kirby series, if you count CartoonCreatures as animals, as well as its legion of more blatant animal characters such as King [=DeDeDe=] (a penguin), Pon and Con (a raccoon and fox respectively), Bonkers (a hammer-weilding gorilla), the various animal friends from VideoGame/KirbysDreamland2 and VideoGame/KirbysDreamland3, and the list goes on. This is in large part due to their very charming and adorable designs thanks to the cutesy artstyle the series is famous for.

This is in large part due to their very charming and adorable designs thanks to the cutesy artstyle the series is famous for. There's a good reason why furry artists often put Kirby plushies in their fanart (both SFW and NSFW).

** The Splatoon series is also an unusual case in which it attracts furries from other franchises, or compels players to make their own original furry characters, as can be seen in the hub areas: players are encouraged to draw something and post it, which is then displayed in other people's games as their PlayerCharacter "saying" it in a speech bubble or displayed as graffiti on the walls throughout the games. For various reasons, chief among them being Nintendo checking only for offensive content and leaving all other posts alone regardless of copyright, furry artwork dominates over all other topics in this displayed artwork, barring flash-in-the-pan memes, very few of which are actually of the Splatoon characters.

* VideoGame/MUGEN is a fighting game engine where any skilled enough creator can make fighters however they like, so there are bound to be many characters of varying degrees of furriness and scaliness in the community. These include bestial characters, of both biped and quadruped variety, from preexisting fiction as well as original furry characters and self-inserts.

** While the titular character's species isn't known (fans refer to him as a "Cabbit"), Klonoa is popular with the furry community (especially in Japan) due to his adorable design. Especially his redesign for Lunatea's Veil where he's given a much older design.
