Unfortunately, the game was widely criticized by pinheads, who mostly considered it inferior to ''Pinball/IndianaJonesThePinballAdventure'' -- instead of doing anything thematically interesting with the license, Stern's ''Indy'' felt like [[TheProblemWithLicensedGames a generic pinball game with the license applied on it.]] On the other hand, it does have its supporters, who find its uncluttered playfield and simpler design makes it a more approachable, strategy-oriented game than its predecessor.

* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: The four movies are each color-coded. ''[[Film/IndianaJonesAndTheLastCrusade Last Crusade]]'' is blue, ''[[Film/IndianaJonesAndTheTempleOfDoom Temple of Doom]]'' is red/orange, ''Film/RaidersOfTheLostArk'' is yellow, and ''[[Film/IndianaJonesAndTheKingdomOfTheCrystalSkull Kingdom of the Crystal Skull]]'' is green.
* CrystalSkull: Found on the upper right corner of the playfield, representing ''Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull''. (The skull itself is plastic though.)
* GottaCatchThemAll: Most of the movie modes have you getting objects, like Sankara stones.
* IndyEscape: The TropeNamer scene is played when an extra ball is awarded.
* LevelGrinding: A common complaint against the game is that there's too much time spent making the same shots over and over.

Couldn't find a transparent image of the entire machine, so the backglass will have to suffice. Frankly, I wish it were in better quality, but I think this will work.

The game is all about the ''Franchise/IndianaJones'' movies, and there are four modes based on each of them. It has a number of toys to further connect it to the movies, like recreations of the Ark, the Holy Grail, and the titular Crystal Skull, as well as a swordsman behind a wall. The game itself also has scenes from the movie fully recreated on the display.

Another interesting fact about the game is that it has an ''8''-ball multiball, topped off with the [[NightmareFuel infamous ark scene]] from ''Raiders''.

The game was widely criticized by pinheads, who mostly considered it inferior to ''Pinball/IndianaJonesThePinballAdventure''.
