* Sentinel Prime was once a famed Transformer from Planet Cybertron, a great military commander, warrior, and leader who served as a mentor to Optimus Prime and served as a leader to the Autobots when the great war occurred. Sometimes during or before the aftermath of the conflict, Sentinel was lost and was presumed dead until several millennia later when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin from a United States-led expedition to the moon uncovered a Cybertronian ship called the ''Ark'', in which Sentinel was encased within. Salvaged and taken to Earth for research and preservation, Sentinel would reunite with the Autobots decades and work together to ensure protection and peace for their newfound home planet... or so it seemed; Sentinel had actually made a deal with Megatron and the Deceptions before his disappearance to work on restoring Cybertron to its former glory and would shamelessly betray Optimus and the Autobots to instead bring back his former home planet, regardless of Earth had to die and humans become slaves to the Transformers. Eventually, Sentinel also betrays and mistreats Megatron as well, fully intent on claiming Cybertron and the Deceptions entirely to himself as a god, and despite coming close to fulfilling his ambitions, he was defeated and killed by Optimus, though not before having done enough damage for humanity to near-universally consider Transformers as a global threat.
* When Sentinel found himself in the Pantheon for the first time, his initial thoughts were to ponder on the circumstances of the new realms he suddenly became a part of and decided to travel the cosmos as well as what looked to be Earth in search of answers. He wasn't too surprised when he discovered that both Autobots and Decepticons were in the Pantheon, but felt a mix of emotions when learning about Optimus and Megatron's place there too. He was furious, especially at his apprentice for killing him and at the Decepticon leader for "betraying" him whilst also expressing twisted hope in being granted a second chance at fighting and proving his superiority towards them, but what intrigued him was that he was one of several Sentinel Primes in the multiverse, for [[WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated there was another]] who succeeded where he failed at; becoming a leader of a still-existing Cybertron and [[VideoGame/TransformersWarForCybertron one more who defended Cybertron against Megatron despite his own brutality]]. Sentinel felt that he could probably try to learn from his other variations to some degree and apply them to his next warpath against those against him, and while "Sentinel Zeta Prime" was noteworthy to the point of him planning to create a spear like his, the "Cybertron Leader" proved disappointing as this particular Sentinel couldn't match up to Optimus nor did he prove competent in leadership nor combat. Perhaps there was a little bit of himself that Sentinel saw in his "leader self", but what matters is finding Cybertron in the Pantheon and, if necessary, creating a new one regardless of the casualties he would carve in his dark ambitions.
* Befitting of his title as a Prime, Sentinel is one of the most powerful Transformers, a warrior capable of being Optimus and Megatron's equal in regards to combat and leadership, especially given his position as a mentor to the former. Sentinel possesses great physical power and is quite agile and reflexive for a robot his size, preferring to use a Rust Cannon [[MakeThemRot capable of rusting away a robot's physical structure, effectively killing them painfully]] and a Primal Blade, a two-sided sword capable of trading blows against the strongest Transformers and further made deadly by Sentinel's combat experience. Despite his leadership and power, Sentinel was a backstabbing madman, fully convinced that he was not just a Transformer, [[AGodAmI but a god among the Cybertronians]], a result of his pride twisting him into becoming [[Monster/{{Transformers}} no better than the worst of the Decepticons]] and yet despite all this, he's not above pleading for mercy if overwhelmed, a fact that he didn't like to admit in the Pantheon, instead expressing rage at Optimus for killing him during that time. While Sentinel is all too eager to continue with his ambitions in the Pantheon, he's not above learning from his other multiversal selves out of convenience, though he's now saddled with the necessity to make alliances outside of any Transformers like him if he needs any luck in fulfilling his goals, much to his chagrin.
* If it weren't for Megatron, then Sentinel would be Optimus's most personal nemesis and if the Decepticon leader is one based on ideology and moral principles, then the Autobot betrayer is a familial one, and this is an enmity that Optimus couldn't shake off as Sentinel had once been a friend and mentor to him. This broken relationship persisted in the Pantheon, but where Optimus simply conceded that he has no other option but to fight his former mentor again and would rather not kill him unless necessary, Sentinel only wants to slaughter his former friend and prove himself a better leader than both him and Megatron. He's also not forgotten the Decepticon leader as an enemy and has no interest in an alliance with Megatron despite their mutual enmity towards Optimus. If he has to fight both of them, so be it, because Optimus and Megatron are not worthy of Cybertron's glorious resurfacing in the divine realms should it ever occur and Sentinel. As for Megatron, he initially expressed disappointment in Sentinel disregarding an alliance, but upon learning that he has been swaying a couple of Deceptions into his service, the Decepticon leader, feeling incensed, has no issues killing Sentinel should they ever meet.
** Once a great hero in the eyes of the Autobots, Sentinel nowadays is seen as an incompetent joke at best, or a murderous, delusional disgrace at worst and they deem the betrayer to be a grave threat to their efforts to ensure peace and stability towards Transformers and other kinds. In Sentinel's eyes, the Autobots are misguided, for they are not doing enough to assert themselves as warriors of respect and command rather than protectors of "lesser beings'', something he considers repulsive and underwhelming. As for the Decepticons, Sentinel believes that they are more convincing (or convenient in the eyes of some) in being adamant for their races' glory and Cybertron's prosperity, while the group themselves are decidedly mixed about him, with some feeling that he's a more appropriate leader than Megatron due to him simply being more mellow in comparison while others are more hesitant and feel that Megatron, for all his faults, is an effective motivator and knows leading his forces better than Sentinel does. The only thing all three sides could agree on is seeing Unicron as a threat to their existence, but even then, Sentinel has somehow convinced himself that he is the only one capable of stopping the Chaos Bringer, which Optimus and Megatron vehemently disagree on and feel that Sentinel only wants validation in Cybertron's eyes for defeating Unicron rather than preserving the fate of his kind like he claims to do so.
* While Sentinel was intrigued by the House of Pantheon/MachineryAndTechnology, he expressed a measure of displeasure at Optimus being a Guardian representative as most of the mechanical lifeforms there were not up to Sentinel's standards regarding power and supremacy. Naturally, he would default to visiting the Hall of Pantheon/RobotsAndAutomata in an effort to find and forge alliances with whoever was eager to at least tolerate his command and ambitions. He quickly expected to see most robots voice their opposition towards him, such as Jenny Wakeman, Mega Man (and his X Counterpart), WALL-E, Robotboy, and Astro Boy because of his goals bordering on genocide despite Sentinel's insistency in said goals being for the sake of his kind. Even Metal Sonic disapproved, as his priorities were primarily around defeating [[Pantheon/{{Gaming}} his genetic template]] and Sentinel's goals were not what Metal Sonic would have much interest in. Doctor Nefarious was the only robot who was open to supporting Sentinel's goals, though this came with the caveat of Sentinel agreeing to also eliminate Ratchet and Clank and addressing him about their feats and accomplishments, which were enough for Sentinel to accept the mad doctor's settlement deal. Ultron was another robot who settled for an alliance with the Autobot betrayer, though he makes it clear that robot supremacy is only truly possible if all organics in the cosmos are destroyed. Despite Sentinel being aware of Ultron's treacherous nature, he agreed to a collaboration with the omnicidal AI and knowing too well about treachery, he does anticipate Ultron attempting such in the future but doesn't mind so long as they keep their main goals prioritized for now.
** Sentinel would express interest in the concept of cyborgs and androids but makes it clear that unless they really subscribe to or at least tolerate his goals, they're just as worthless as the organic lives he considers inferior. As such, he's repulsed by the [=YoRHa=] units, 2B, 9S, and A2, for their designated purpose to fight for mankind whilst finding humour in how they were serving a pointless cause as Humanity was extinct long before [=YoRHa=] was even formed. Among other androids were the creations of Dr. Gero; Sentinel gives credit to the effectiveness of their models enough to see 16, 17, and 18 as credible threats, though with Cell, Sentinel is confused about his desire for battle and destruction, to which the omnicidal bio-android muses that he just his hobbies his "perfect" thrill and honestly finds Sentinel's desires too dull, with their enmity coming from the fact that Cell has no problems destroying Cybertron if he felt like it, which Sentinel obviously couldn't allow for his own self-centred reasons. Brainiac was one such being Sentinel found a convenient alliance with as the Coluan was open to accepting a deal and Sentinel pledged that he could offer him any rogue Transformers for him to research. Brainiac also saw a strong ally in the Autobot betrayer and decided that with Sentinel's alliance, he could potentially further his own schemes and keeps in contact with the treacherous Transformer regarding any reports for conquest and subjugation.
* Learning about the many allegiances and conflicts in the divine realms, Sentinel expressed interest in the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil as he correctly predicted the forces of good would never respect his actions, let alone support them, but where Megatron is favoured by [[Pantheon/{{Villainy}} Melkor]], Sentinel felt that a universal destroyer like Melkor wasn't worth his patronage, which led him to instead seek out Darkseid as both were conquerors hellbent on asserting control and domination. To Sentinel's annoyance, he was forced to accept the Lord of Tyranny as a superior and decided that if he's going to need further firepower, he might require Darkseid's assistance, a fact that the God of Apokolips will sometimes rub him on. Despite this, Darkseid does see Sentinel as a useful being to keep tabs towards, and his personal sleeper cell regarding Transformers. On Sentinel's end, the Anti-Life Equation seems like a reasonable tool to acquire and learn for his own ends and he's decided to work under Darkseid to discover the equation at some point, hoping to use it to instil every Transformer into his servitude and act as their undisputed god. The Lord of Tyranny is aware of Sentinel's agenda, but decides to let him act on it, though he is open to eliminating the traitorous robot should he show signs of actively rebelling against him.
** Aside from the GUAE, Sentinel also found intrigue and curiosity for the [[Pantheon/HouseUprisings Machine Uprising]], especially towards the Pantheon/RexMachina subsidiary as they were composed of mechanical beings who were like-minded with Sentinel's beliefs and it helped that some of his Pantheonic allies were a part of said uprising. While this gave the traitorous Transformer the unique distinction of being a member of both a Grand United Alliance and a Uprising, both sides are aware of this and let Sentinel play with his desires, seeing him as a useful asset to them in their own agendas. While their goals are different, Sentinel is willing to work alongside members of Pantheon/TheAssimilation section of the Machine Uprising as they do agree with him that organics are better off either wiped from existence or subjugated to their service. On that note, he and SKYNET found each other to be quite similar; treacherous beings who betrayed those whom they were supposed to help and guide as well as ordering a campaign of destruction and slavery whilst delusionally thinking of themselves as doing the right thing, but it's because of these commonalities that they found difficulty in working with each other, for both are aware one will betray the other and they're too blinded by their respective god-complexes to decide who should take charge.
* Perhaps the most deplorable of Sentinel's acts is [[TreacheryIsASpecialKindOfEvil the shameless betrayal of his allegiance and/or sacrificing their ideals for a more selfish cause]]. Coupled with his immediate actions of killing Ironhide as painfully as possible, Sentinel is not so far off from the worst of what the House of Pantheon/BetrayalAndTreachery had to offer. He was amused by Starscream's position there as a guardian, not forgetting about his many blunders and incompetence, though when it came to an alliance, there was confliction as Starscream feels that while Sentinel is an effective leader, he can't really distance himself from Megatron despite his many occasions to backstab him. Even so, Sentinel and Starscream are willing to work together in opposing the Autobots, much to Megatron's annoyance. Surprisingly, his shared contempt for humanity was one he shared with Ragyo Kiryuin; Ragyo was smug in telling the traitorous Transformer about being quite similar to her, given their decision to betray their kind and fashion themselves as a deity above others. In a strange turn of events, Sentinel agreed to an alliance with Ragyo; while he's aware of her nature as a former human and admittedly doesn't seem fond of her, he will need allies, robots or not, as much as he hates to admit such. He's open to giving rogue and defeated Transformers as guinea pigs for Ragyo to experiment for her Life Fibers, plus Sentinel realized an alliance with her is more practical than being rivals due to their commonalities. The alliance was more a win for Ragyo as she sees this as being more truthful while Sentinel doesn't care much and would rather see his ambitions fulfilled.
** A disgraced hero, mentor, and warrior, Sentinel is sometimes compared to figures like Arthas Menethil, Darth Vader, and Malekith, but the Transformer finds it to be annoying and personally sees himself as better than them as, in addition to his own racial supremacist beliefs, Sentinel feels that him having a clear choice and direction made him a better warrior and leader than Arthas, and Vader, whilst also retorting that for all of Malekith's reputation and accomplishments, he's still a victim to his mother's temptation. As for what those three think, while Sentinel is indeed a capable warrior, his hidden nature as a coward eschews whatever martial respect they may have for the Autobot betrayer, and Vader and Malekith have made it clear that they have enough power, personally and through military might, to decimate Sentinel if they wanted to. Surprisingly, General Zod was the being with the strongest commonalities with Sentinel as well as the one the Transformer would acknowledge to respect as both were esteemed leaders, powerful fighters, and heroes of their kind who betrayed their allegiance for what they believed was right, plus both yearned for a bygone time where their kind conquered in a more aggressive belief and view of life. Still, Zod refused to align himself with Sentinel as he wasn't taking chances working with a traitor and felt that Sentinel was too slippery to be trusted while Sentinel finds the Kryptonian warlord to be a hypocrite for not trusting him despite Zod himself turning his back on Krypton's government, though Zod would retort that he had no choice since said government was corrupt and withheld their kind from saving themselves from Krypton's destruction while Sentinel's actions would have resulted in a Cybertron no better than what Krypton's former government was.
* As an EvilMentor who once started as a force of good, Sentinel isn't respected by similar figures either, feeling that he is a disgrace as a mentor and master and felt that Optimus was fairly justified in killing him as Sentinel wasn't willing to show mercy to anyone for his mad delusions for godhood. If there was someone very similar to him in that regard, that would be Thaal Sinestro and the two were quick to point out their similarities on their first encounter. But while Sentinel would make for an effective Yellow Lantern, Sinestro determined that Sentinel is far too sucked up in his supposed godhood that he would be a loose cannon. The fact that Sentinel has developed an interest in the Lantern Rings as tools of power to accelerate his desires only seemed to justify Sinestro's caution for him and he makes it clear that their commonalities aren't going to win him over while Sentinel is adamant about claiming a Yellow Lantern ring someday. Master Asia is another mentor figure who fell from his heroic days, but even he found Sentinel despicable; for all his faults, Asia sincerely wanted to preserve nature, something that Sentinel would have gladly let be destroyed or perverted for his own ends and he's made it clear never to let the Transformer tarnish anymore of the Pantheon's fertile lands.
* The Pantheon being filled with so many humans and organic beings, and many of them being well-respected and adored by most of the divine realm's denizens annoys and baffles Sentinel to no end. It's the one thing he could agree with Megatron on, but they're not on friendly terms and the Decepticon leader would rather blow his head off than work on an alliance anyway. If Optimus being compassionate towards humans didn't irritate Sentinel enough, then hearing figures like Superman, Goku, Yomi, The Iron Giant, and The Vision only invalidated his contempt, especially when they're all powerful figures who could conquer Earth and subjugate humanity several times over Of course, the fact that his usage of the Space Bridge, in addition to restoring Cybertron, was to [[SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil subject humanity into slave labour for Transformers]] furthered Sentinel's unabashed contempt for organics. The Iron Giant and Vision especially frustrated the Autobot traitor as they're mechanical beings like him and he fails to see why they're so protective of humans, even though they have proven that they could be just as hostile to machines. The two merely scoff at Sentinel as a delusional madman while Superman, Goku, and Yomi are quick to point out the sheer hypocrisy of Sentinel's words and beliefs, something that he weakly justifies as being for the betterment of his kind and that the Autobots were hindrances from that point. Needless to say, everyone on this perspective sees Sentinel as a delusional bigot while he simply sees them as wasting their potential at best or "succumbing to human intrigue" at worst, resulting in them having vicious fights anytime Sentinel encounters them.
** While the House of Pantheon/MilitaryAndWarfare does intrigue him if mainly for the many weapons and militarized arms he could collect and research, Sentinel is openly and viciously contemptuous of the many military personnel that are stationed there and this also extends to government subsidiaries like HECU and the Silencerz who have had to deal with extraterrestrial and mechanical beings, in which Sentinel certainly counted. As far as Sentinel was concerned, most of the House's representatives were US Soldiers, all of whom would oppose him for his attempted genocide and slavery and Sentinel himself wasn't fond of more openly villainous armies either as neither of them had much to offer him. Taking things further, Sentinel was forced to accept that someone like Gordon Freeman could be a potential threat to him given his feat of taking on invading aliens and holding them off to a standstill as well as being just as good as a trained soldier in combat. He does have some qualms of curiosity towards Wallace Breen for selling out his kind and he's quite open to the possibility of accepting a deal with Sentinel if it means he's kept out of his warpath and he, in turn, could help him deal with Freeman and potentially the rest of Sentinel's threats,
* Outside of his bigoted and treacherous nature, Sentinel is well known for thinking of himself as a superior being even amongst Transformers, a god as he likes to call it. To his credit, he is aware of his proclamation as well as the fact that many of his allies, especially Brainiac and Ultron are {{godhood seeker}}s themselves, though Sentinel has some choice words about the concept. He intends to defeat Unicron to legitimize his supposed divinity and he intends to make the Pantheon a machine-dominated realm with him as a patron saint who is to be worshipped for his accomplishments. This led to him running into several beings who have similar desires, with Vilgax, Palpatine, Vitiate, and Frieza taking notice and having their own thoughts on the matter. Vilgax sees him as competition given his own treacherous nature, Palpatine and Vitiate admit to finding his combat skill and leadership impressive and muse about having him as an ally or unwitting pawn, and Frieza sees him as another "pampered oversized trash". Sentinel would normally praise Frieza for killing Megatron, [[WebAnimation/DeathBattle but the fact that he destroyed Cybertron to ensure that victory]] makes the Autobot betrayer made him quite apprehensive of the galactic warlord and seeks to prove Frieza his superior in combat at some point, and while he and Palpatine have managed to barely be on speaking terms, Sentinel quipped how he knows a traitor based on how Palpatine spoke about his past apprentices while the Sith Master commended the Transformer for pointing that out as well as acknowledging how the two are more similar than they seem. The two are aware of the likeliness of one betraying the other, but Sentinel and Palpatine intend to go ahead with it once they're rid of their own foes.
* While the idea of restoring and reconstructing one's home planet is a noble and sympathetic cause, Sentinel's intentions are a far cry from those and he has no problems sacrificing another planet and its inhabitants to accomplish that. To him, Cybertron must be rebuilt at the expense of others and the planet seemingly being nonexistent in the Pantheon means he will continue with his goal. This, understandably made him not well-liked by the House of Pantheon/SpaceAndCosmos as many of the deities there aren't going to sit idly by and allow Sentinel to just take up an inhabitant planet and activate a Space Bridge there. On the other hand, the traitorous Autobot found Mogo the Living Planet to be an interesting specimen and wondered how it would be to activate said Space Bridge on a sentient planet, though he wound up underestimating Mogo when the planet detected the Transformer and fought back, with Sentinel fleeing once much of his army fleet was decimated. He would also take steps to avoid contact with Galactus upon learning of his reputation as a {{planet eater}}, especially after learning how he bested Unicron once, but though the Devourer of Worlds generally doesn't pay much mind to Sentinel, he has no issues with delivering his own punishment towards the Autobot traitor should he ever dare to invade his personal space or a planet he tries to consume.
''"For Cyberton! For our home! What war destroyed, we can rebuild."''
* He also has a place in the Hall of Pantheon/AlignmentChanges.

The Mastermind Junko Enoshima had found him interesting due to his mercenary status reminding her a lot of her twin sister Mukuro Ikusaba before she proposed an alliance with him, only for Daido to simply flipping the bird at her face as a sign of rejecting her proposal as he sees her as a monstrous woman who doesn't value any standards whatsoever.

** While the Houses of Pantheon/FriendshipAndCamaraderie and Pantheon/FamilyAndRelatives don't have a good opinion about Sinestro, he personally doesn't have anything against them either and given he valued his friendship with Abin Sur heavily and is very protective of his daughter regardless of their problems with one another, he would personally consider family and friendships to be something he would personally value to some degree. In fact, he has a strong friendship with Black Adam, citing him as a man worthy of his equal and helped by the number of similarities they have, not to mention the two of them [[ComicBook/ForeverEvil having fought together against an invasion of supervillains from another universe]], and they're more than welcome to help each other out in the Pantheon to the point where Adam has a Yellow Lantern Ring as a token of their friendship. Sinestro also gets along with Lord Hater and Commander Peeps as, while those two are more admitting to being villains, they see Sinestro as a good leader and he sees them as being more capable and formidable than their zany and comedic demeanor shows, not to mention they value camaraderie in their tasks. Sure order and peace is his main priority, but Sinestro is not above working with villains, though so long as they respect his chain of command and don't prove to be too much of a detriment or threat to his ambitions.

* Once a great hero, he's obviously not very well-liked by the House of Pantheon/{{Heroism}}, though given he's had to fight against his former Corps as well as the Justice League, this is to be expected. That said, Sinestro would often state that [[TheParagonAlwaysRebels there are others like him who stood in defiance of their allegiances, regardless of their fame and dependency]] and that most should be glad that he's trying to affirm protection for the cosmos, something that most would just roll their eyes over. It's one trait that he shares with Cortana, an A.I. whose reputation as a heroic force was wasted when she decided that she must become a GalacticConqueror to ensure peace, even going through genocidal extremes to do so, though Sinestro is merely just pitiful of her as her strategies and tactics were sloppy and she's too burdened by her closest relations, particularly [[Pantheon/SoldierArchetypes Master Chief]], to truly be someone worth working with as well as not possessing enough fear factor to be a potential member of his Corps. [[Pantheon/TypesOfMadness Pinbacker]] and [[Pantheon/FamilyDysfunctions Archaon]] are a bit more contentious as they're far too mentally warped that, even with the necessary fear factor they possess, Sinestro couldn't really approach them without Pinbacker and Archaon declaring defiance and initiating a fight against him, not caring about bringing order in the slightest. Of all of them, it seems Revan was the fallen paragon Sinestro admitted to having the most respect for and though they haven't met much, Sinestro does intend to either work with Revan or have him be an unwitting instrument to further his own goals, believing that Revan's power, the fear he inspires in Jedi and Sith alike, and defiance towards anyone in the way of his own pursuits would be great benefits for Sinestro and being a worthy candidate for his organization.

The Mastermind Junko Enoshima had found him interesting due to his mercenary status reminding her a lot of her twin sister Mukuro Ikusaba before she proposed an alliance with him, only for Daido simply flipping the bird at her face as a sign of rejecting her proposal as he sees her as a monstrous woman who doesn't value any standards whatsoever.
