* During his various battles against vampire scourges such as Frost and Dracula, as well as other terrible villains in the Marvel Universe, he encountered many Marvel heroes and was part of several team-ups, his fondest allies including the likes of Luke Cage, Spider-Man, She-Hulk, and Doctor Strange. However, like a lot of grim heroes, he's also suffered his share of personal losses, not the least of which being his own pure humanity, at the hands of an ally corrupted by a new powerful strain of vampirism whose bite fully turned into him a DaywalkingVampire. ** So how much of Remilia can be really seen in Shinobu? Well, both happen to be pretty affluent (if not haughty) talkers, both are over half a millennium old, and both have taken on quite the childish look- however, Shinobu can, unlike who she is inspired by, actually absorb the blood of her aide Koyomi Araragi to alter her bodily appearance, going from a short child to being a very tall & attractive woman. Aspects of Remilia's sister, Flandre, can also be found in Shinobu as well- both are extremely destructive blondes who have had been sealed away in some form. Funnily enough, however, despite her status, she usually is seen more as an assistant and aide to Araragi, who has most of her power, which is an inverse of Remilia's situation with Sakuya- even down to their first meetings, where while Koyomi saved Shinobu, Remilia was the one who offered Sakuya haven & solace.
** Fellow friendly vampires have taken quite a liking to Shinobu, as well. For instance, she was welcomed rather warmly into Hotel Transylvania when she and Araragi first learned of it, and soon became friends with its owner (who she was surprised but not really when she learned of who it is), but also friends with his daughter Mavis, who was more than glad to give the duo a tour of the expansive establishment. Arcueid & Alucard also became acquainted with Shinobu rather quickly, and arguably more so with her for Alucard than Remilia, as the Scarlet Devil's disdain towards his father did lead to some rather unfortunate happenings between him and her. Shinobu doesn't want to open that can of worms, so she prefers to keep her Alucard business & Remilia business separate.
** Speaking of Alucard, though, Shinobu is not happy whatsoever about his father, the other Dracula, for...well, [[https://tropepantheon.wordpress.com/tales-of-ascension/ what he did to Remilia, her endorser, alongside Dio Brando]]. And as stated earlier, Yuuki Terumi was also very much unhappy to learn of Shinobu's existence, as was Dio for learning that his protege's master is in league with another deity that can easily check his powers of time by being an immortal fast-regenerating brawler, something that Terumi also takes offense to. She also takes offense to those who'd try to hit up on Araragi as well, considering her tsundere attitude.

** They (more specifically Remilia) were the ones to vouch for, and back, the ascension of the Pantheon’s first-ever [[Literature/{{Bakemonogatari}}]] deity, Shinobu Oshino. To the Scarlet Devil, she saw this as a way to make her mark on Gensokyo’s ever-expanding influence in the Pantheon’s sphere of interest, while Flandre learned that Shinobu could be come a very fun playmate for her. Or, really (especially for Remilia), they were just really stroking their egos and pushing the envelope forward. This did work and Shinobu was ascended with her partner Koyomi Araragi by her side, and their first meeting went swell, punctuated with all of Gensokyo’s most active incident resolvers (except Sakuya) & Meiling fighting a very pissed Yuuki Terumi in the background.

* Formerly known as a human named Acerola, who had a curse upon her that forced those around her to commit suicide, the vampire known as Shinobu Oshino came to be when she was turned by a purebred and became the feared vampire known as Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. As she continued her life, she would begin her own journeys and her curse would be subsequently removed as a result, but her arrival in Japan would change her greatly. After letting some vampire hunters dismember her and leave her for dead, she then changes her mind of being a DeathSeeker and asks Koyomi Araragi, who initially refused, to give himself up t her so that she could live. What followed was a series of {{Fetch Quest}}s for her limbs, a battle between Koyomi & Shinobu, and a dynamic formed between the duo involving bloodsucking, mortality, and a constant balance of energy. ** She managed to flip the situation around as ammunition against Terumi, saying that he still has ways to go to piss her off like Excalibur did. [[spoiler:She's the one who comes up with the idea of tossing Excalibur to Terumi to let him have a taste of his own medicine. Creator/ChuckNorris took up the idea, and Rachel seems to enjoy seeing Terumi flip off against Excalibur before Hakumen finished him off, she recorded them magically.]]
* Met the newly ascended Alice Liddell one day after being introduced by Iroh and cast her off as a hopeless dreamer and nuisance. One transformation later by the rising Avatar of the Power of Imagination and Rachel found herself on the ropes, forcing her to turn to her [[SuperMode Unlimited Mode]] to make things even. Their match ended in a draw as George XIII [[ShockAndAwe zapped]] Alice at the same moment Rachel was struck by a tea projectile from the [[GrenadeLauncher Teapot Cannon]]. Respecting someone who could give her a good fight and a lover of tea, she considers Alice an equal and ally.
* As of recent, she has expressed concern over the fate of Ragna the Bloodedge, commenting that if he would die, she is to be killed as well. She only trusts that either Tsubaki Yayoi, Jin Kisaragi, or Alucard would be the one to do the job.

She also has agreed with Kitana to ascend Sindel once her avatar is safe again and, in turn, free the latter's avatar from Quan Chi's control. Also has agreed with her and Scorpion to kick Quan Chi's ass once and for all, and currently is looking to free Raiden from The Fallen, although she isn't going to be without [[WhatTheHellHero calling him out on his acts]] and giving him a well-deserved BreakingSpeech.
** Due to this status, she was one of the first deities to find out about [[Pantheon/MagicalItems Shinnok]]'s plan to steal the Boosted Gear from Issei in order to gain its powers and become the only god of [[AmplifierArtifact a certain position]]. To try and stop the sorcerer, she allied with Issei, who says she reminds him of Gasper, one of his non-ascended pals of the Occult Research Club. Rachel has also pointed out that she'd definitely like to see the results of Issei wearing the "Spectacles of Eros".
** She, alongside with Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, freed Kitana from Quan Chi's control and back to the GUAG.
** [[spoiler:While she's dismayed on the fact that Raiden wound up corrupted again while defeating Shinnok, she felt something akin to satisfaction when it was announced that he would be moved to Purgatory and that he actually wasn't fully responsible for what happened in his world, with Shinnok and Quan Chi having worked together to make it look like Raiden was. Still, she couldn't help but be reminded of the time Nu-13 succeeded in becoming one with Ragna to become the Black Beast...]]
** This eventually came to a crashing end, as Rachel did not expect the interruption of a certain [[VideoGame/{{Warcraft}} Arthas Menethil]] to [[spoiler:influence Liu Kang to embrace his darker side and eventually broke away with her. This creates a chain reaction where one by one, the Kombatants entrusted to her started leaving her guidance, citing her as not any better than the past Raiden. Although Rachel still kept up the facade that she was just minorly annoyed, it's clear that this is taking a toll to her mind, and wonders if this will affect Thrall as well.]] The only thing that she could do right now is to declare Arthas as one of her enemies.
** Following the events of the [[VideoGame/MortalKombatX 25-Year Prophecy]] and [[VideoGame/MortalKombat11 its aftermath]], Raiden returned to the Pantheon and took back his place as the BigGood of the MK-verse. Initially he was slightly at odds with Rachel, but the two eventually became very good friends, with the Thunder God expressing gratitude for the vampire lady and her work while he turned into Dark Raiden and Rachel complimenting Raiden for his return to his original, good self and the effort he put for making amends with Liu Kang. To this day, the two work together to ensure the well-being of their respective universes, and you might even see them having a cup of tea together when they have a day off.
* Became good friends with Remilia Scarlet after her ascension, as the two vampires were able to find multiple similarities with each other.
