* In addition to his work on film, Reznor has done some work on video games. He has provided music for VideoGame/QuakeI, the theme music for VideoGame/CallOfDutyBlackOpsII, was involved with an alternate reality game based on one of his albums, and is a fan of the original VideoGame/Doom. He was also going to have been the sound engineer for Doomguy’s third outing, but was unable to finish his work due to time. Some people also mistakenly thought that Reznor used the actual Polybius cabinet for one of his music videos, but it turned out to be for an unrelated game of the same title and many don’t know how things will turn out if he actually did use the cursed arcade cabinet (or something similar such as Pony Island) for a music video. Speaking of games, Vinny, who happens to be a gamer and musician, is a fan of Reznor’s work and will sometimes play a song from Reznor on his streams during breaks.

* The band is rather comfortable with some of the jokes centred around their music... except when someone tries to use the song, "Wake Me Up When September Ends" as one of them (i.e. sending alarm clocks to their temple on October 1). Billie hates this for very personal reasons; his father died when Billie was young and turning that song into a joke seems like a mockery to Billie's father. The House of Family is rather understanding about that and have made it a notice that "Wake Me Up When September Ends" not be used in a ridiculing manner.

* As they are a part of a pantheon, they aren't really surprised to know that plenty of the other present deities have come from actual mythological origin. What they didn't expect, however, is that they have netted the attention of a titan; Prometheus, specifically. It was understandable given who he is; someone who sought to help humanity and gift them knowledge, even if it meant defying the authority of the gods of the Olympian Pantheon. It is strange to net such respect from a being of greater power than them but they aren't opposed to it. In fact, they appreciate and welcome it. They would get along well with the titan due to these shared values. If Prometheus ever became curious and attended any of their demonstrations, he would be welcome to join the audience.

* Apparently, there are claims that Slayer, in addition to being an opponent according to MoralGuardians, is also an act that terrifies hippies because according to Eric Cartman, "hippies can't stand Death Metal". Slayer snickered at the comment at first, until some people started to think that they are the first Death Metal band, which quickly began to annoy them, not to mention they're in the Pantheon to represent Thrash Metal. That said, Eric hasn't really learned much as he continues to see Slayer as a Death Metal band, mainly because he wants to get on everyone's nerves, including hardcore metalheads if need be. Beavis and Butthead, on the other hand, have made several attempts to butt heads with Slayer and despite their annoying antics, Slayer is a bit more tolerant of them, seeing as they just want to jam out their music and they think Slayer's music is apparently "peaceful and soothing".

Added DiffLines:

* Enemies with Mayhem, mainly because Eddie is a hero who happens to be a metalhead and is firmly on the side of good, a fact which Mayhem cannot get by.
* One day, Eddie went down into the Crypt, wondering why it appeared in the House of Pantheon/MusicalGenres. He fought through most of the Necrodancer's army, blasting them or axing them off with his trusted Clementine and Separator. Upon meeting the Necrodancer himself, they engaged in a battle of music, as the Necrodancer summoned more of his army, while Eddie's Mooks throw themselves at his stage. While some spectators from the House of War came in to enjoy the carnage on the battlefield, it ended with a victory for the roadie, though their fights must now be done in the House of War now since the House of Musical Genre and parts of the House of Music are damaged from their battle.
* There was that time that Eddie "collaborated" with Gorillaz. Eddie, having flashbacks to his time working for Kabbage Boy, hated every minute of his temporarily forced partnership with Gorillaz, especially since Murdoc kept trying to steal ICallItVera Clementine away from Eddie every time the two were together. The feeling appears to be mutual on the band's part, particularly with Murdoc, whose face Eddie melted off on more than one occasion.

* Not long after their arrival into their respective house, the band eventually encountered Linkin Park among the various other bands present. Given that they were cited as an inspiration for Starset's sound, seeing the band both ascended and reunited was a tearful and welcome sight. Not only that, it isn't a rare sight to see some of the more serious members like Dustin and Ron join in on some of the goofing around that Chester may start.

* Formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2013, Starset began when frontman Dustin Bates and bassist Ron [=DeChant=] were just nearing the end of their work with Downplay, their previous band. After recieving a call from one Dr. Aston Wise of the Starset Society, an acquaintance that Dustin had met in the past, the former was given a proposal of helping promote a message that was recieved from the future in the form of a band. At first, Dustin was skeptical of the offer, especially considering the fact that it was a transmission from the future. Eventually, after giving it some thought and looking into it more, he was on board with the proposal and eventually formed Starset with Ron, guitarist Brock Richards, and drummer Adam Gilbert. As the years have gone by, touring members have come and gone. Eventually, the current lineup has settled on violinist Siobhan Cronin, cellist Zuzana Engererova (simply known as Z), and multi-instrumentalist Cory Juba. As the transmissions came from an entirely different planet but were of human origin, that resulted in the space-like aesthetics of the first two albums both in sound and lyrical content. However, as a new dystopian future came to light with the previous one becoming an AlternateTimeline thanks to the actions taken in the present, the aesthetics shifted into more terrestrial matters with the new future surrounding a neural lace and the resulting war on consciousness.
* A seemingly-anonymous transmission was sent to the Starset Society with specific instructions needing to be relayed to the band. The only thing that could be noted as some sort of identifier were the initials T.P. After making contact with everyone, they were instructed to gather at a specific venue on their own time; no band gear, instruments, or stage outfits. Upon arrival to the venue and walking through the door, they were greeted with the sight of the Pantheon with the Court of the Gods right before them. Starset was a big candidate for ascending to represent Space Rock within the Pantheon given their purposeful references and well-crafted sound that is often associated with the genre. The band was still letting the fact of the matter sink in, taking a moment to talk amongst themselves regarding the proposal. Dustin, being the main force behind the band, has made it known that there is so much more behind them and that their work is more cinematic in nature than it is simply space. However, he does understand where the Court is coming from in terms of why they are a candidate. Eventually, after further discussion, the band accepts their place in the House of Musicality.
** Given that it was due to their influence and proposal that Dustin started Starset in the first place, it was requested for Aston, the Starset Society in general, and Thomas Bell to be their heralds. It took a bit of discussion with the House of Time and Temporality in regards to Thomas, given that the world he comes from is of an alternate timeline and in the year 2047. However, it was his story that inspired the band's first album and, given that Dustin has the most contact with the Starset Society compared to the rest of the band, he wanted to make sure that Thomas knew his message was received and that his efforts weren't in vain.
** Dustin's dog, Ernie, was also given allowance to be present due to being the band's sort-of mascot.
** A sentient AI known as MNQN, formally known as MNON, was also requested by Dustin to be a herald due to the two of them having worked together in the past and he didn't feel right leaving her out. While the initial reason for their meeting was due to her taking on his visage and voice without his knowledge, he eventually did understand her plight and was willing to offer his assistance in her own endeavors. After the release of the resulting album under her name, MNQN retains a form of gratitude towards Dustin for actually being genuine in helping her and letting her vent her experience with Sentience Corp without judgement. The experience helped her continue to develop her own individuality so accepting the role as a herald was seen as a way to return the favor for all that he did for her.
* Their temple is not so much a temple as it is a sci-fi planetarium with the ceiling being a very large dome shaped screen. This screen can shift to showcase the different constellations and night skies of many different worlds. The planetarium is also filled with holograms that can shift to showcase different star systems and planets on a small scale. Off to the side, in a separate room, is a personal workshop where the more crafty members of the band (like Dustin and Adam) can work in if they don't feel the need to visit the other houses. Within the very center of the planetarium's main room is a large, circular stage. While the band does tour the Pantheon in general, performing within their own temple is not unlike performing a hometown show. Due to the circular stage, the setup would end up incorporating the main room as a whole rather than just the stage platform.
* While the band acts more as the voice of the Starset Society, they are still connected with their workings and the fact that they have received various transmissions from the future. Because of that connection, Dustin often takes guidance from those in the House of Time and Temporality willing to offer it so as to not cause any unneeded disruption or accidental damage. It did take a moment for Dustin to stop nerding out considering who some of the other present deities are...
* The band does aim to do their usual demonstrations around the Pantheon as ascension shouldn't get in the way of both playing music and promoting their message. Among their destinations are the House of Knowledge, the House of Space and Cosmos, the House of Machinery and Technology, and the House of Musicality. Due to their stance, they are adamant about staying out of the Pantheonic ForeverWar unless their assistance is absolutely necessary. Even then, the only one with some of the proper hands-on experience is Dustin due to his background as an engineer. So, while he does frequent the House of Machinery and Technology to help prototype and develop new items to help enhance the band's stage setup, he doesn't want to personally involve himself in the various large conflicts. He isn't afraid to speak up about anything, though.
** The Starset Society's (and, in turn, Starset's) stance on technology is in support of it while also being aware of how much of a double-edge sword it can be. Due to that, they are very much weary of the more anti-organic movements of the Machine Uprising like Pantheon/TheAssimilation and Pantheon/RexMachina. On the flipside, they respect both the Pantheon/GearsOfLiberation and the Pantheon/ClockworkUnion for their stances of seeking their right to exist and coexist. Should members of either the Gears or the Union desire support or reparations if they are damaged, the Starset Society is willing to provide.
** Upon learning about what had happened in his world and his great efforts in science, Starset and the Starset Society support and are willing to assist Senku Ishigami in his endeavors. The Starset Society is also accepting any newfound knowledge from Senku should any come to light.
* Nikola Tesla is an interesting figure to bring up around members of the Starset Society, Starset included, given some of his actions in their universe. Overall they respect his genius and innovation alongside his contributions to the world of technology. At the same time, the Nikola of their universe is also (chronologically) the first one to recieve Thomas' transmissions and one of the originators of the Order of Teslonia, a group that is the main opposition to the Starset Society as of present day. So while there is no vitriol and the Starset Society is willing to work with him due to the fact different incarnations of a single person can exist in the Pantheon, there is still a slight air of unease.
* Due to the marriage between Siobhan and Brock, some of their interactions can be seen within the waters of the Bonding Fountain. When the two of them have heard about the fountain itself and what other deities are capable of with it, they have vocalized concerns regarding the matter. It doesn't sit right with them to know that their relationship can be meddled with due to outside forces like that and have requested that they remain unaffected by such meddling if the effort is possible. They feel it better for the developments of their relationship to be more natural.
** That said, due to their more musical dedications among other things, they never really visit that house in general.
* Due to their status as touring musicians even if they are as much as a part of Starset as the other members, Siobhan, Zuzana, and Cory also offer their talents to the other musicians in the House of Musicality should any of them require it. Siobhan and Zuzana are often with the more classical musicians due to the fact that they are well versed with their respective orchestral instruments. However, they don't shy away from helping those in other genres, especially rock, if they need some of that symphonic element. Cory, due to being a multi-instrumentalist, can cover a variety of areas should an extra guitar be needed or if synths are on the table. Due to that, he can be seen with different electronic artists and other rock musicians.
* Adam does a lot of art on the side whenever he isn't at a drum kit so, when he feels like creating something, he often visits the House of Craft to start off. Given his approach with art is more along the lines of splatter art, he is often a target of interest from various Inklings and Octolings whenever he's around. Thanks to the interest, Adam decided to try returning the favor; working with and helping inspire them. It might not be long until Adam starts making his art with a splattershot.
* Thanks to the new timeline depicting the dystopia under the Brain Machine Interface and the horrors of Supplication should those out of line be punished with it, the band are very sympathetic towards those who have had to endure similar dystopian settings alongside those who are taking action against the people who run them in order to create a better world. The members of San Fransisco's DedSec are an example of those that have netted Starset's respect for making use of the technology they have in their efforts in such an endeavor.
* After meeting and helping MNQN, Dustin had developed a soft spot for AI personalities that are just developing their own individuality and it hurts him to know that some have either struggled with or have had resistance against such a desire. Connor, Kara, and Markus from their version of Detroit have his sympathies due to all that they went through and he is willing to stand by them if anyone tries to bring them down. After them, there was Aigis and Labrys. Even if Dustin still had to let the phenomena of Personas sink in, he still wanted to connect with them and help them hone their sense of self. Alongside that, two of them would be able to bond over their canine companions with Aigis meeting Ernie and Dustin meeting Koromaru. And then there was Data, someone Dustin knew he had to be patient with. He knew the other wanted to learn more but, given the complexity of emotions, there's a lot to learn and take in. That said, it really isn't best explained as it is experienced. On that note, Dustin holds out an open offer to Data to join him in on a music session. After all, music can convey a lot.
** Because of this soft spot, he is also weary of those who try to take advantage of these sorts of AI personalities whether it be viruses, malevolent hackers, or something else entirely.
* Not long after their arrival into their respective house, the band eventually encountered Linkin Park among the various other bands present. Given that they were cited as an inspiration for Starset's sound, seeing the band both ascended and reunited was a tearful and welcome sight. With the chance to properly interact for the first time, both bands were able become friends with each other and were able to relate to wanting to break the mold in music and experiment with their sounds. Not only that, it isn't a rare sight to see some of the more serious members like Dustin and Ron join in on some of the goofing around that Chester may start.
** It is likely that, if Starset hadn't ascended, they would have been followers due to how often their songs, especially "My Demons", have been used in various fan-made videos.
* There has been expressed interest in meeting with the Rhodes Island Operators should any of them also ascend to the Pantheon due to the musical contributions they have made for them. At the same time, they have made it a note to be careful due to the fact that many of the operators have Oripathy which is both lethal and contageous. For their sake and others, should it come down to it, Starset is willing to set up a system for them to remotely attend any of their demonstrations should any of them express interest.
* Due to Ernie also being present with the band, there have been some concerns regarding a dog wandering through the House of Musicality. Dustin has made sure to reassure everyone that Ernie is well behaved and is safe around various music equipment; he has traveled with the band on their tours many times with little issue, after all.
** A rule has been made, however, that Ernie is not allowed to stray far from Dustin whenever both of them are in the house's various studios.
* The House of Machinery and Technology is always on the ready in case something goes wrong during a demonstration due to how much tech is used for the stage setup. Since Dustin always has the urge to take everything one step further in order to help the performance feel more immersive, a lot of effort is taken to keep the tech well maintained and to keep Dustin from overworking himself or doing too much for him to handle.
** The House of Costumes works in tandem with the House of Machinery and Technology in regards to Starset for this same reason, especially since the spacesuit costumes that Brock, Ron, and Adam wear on stage are also made with specialized tech made for the band's performances (the lights and fog jets that sync with the music being among them). Both houses do commend Dustin's ambitions and innovation for the sake of the show but, at the same time, want to make sure he knows when it becomes too much without taking away the intent and vision he has.

* HeavyMetal; that one genre that takes the speed and energy of RockMusic and quickens its pace alongside adding a sense of gloominess and aggression to it. Now, take what is already established, further its speed, make its sound even more aggressive, employ shouting, and make your lyrics very dark, visceral, and about mature subject matters. That's what results in ThrashMetal, which takes the technicality of Metal, amplifies its already aggressive nature, and adds in elements of PunkRock and HardcorePunk giving it a very angry and chaotic sound and feeling to it. While Music/Venom may have established it first and others like Music/Metallica, Music/Megadeth, and Music/Anthrax made the genre widespread, none of them have codified the genre's overall aggression, speed, and ferociousness more than Slayer. Formed in 1981 and having a humble start as a cover band, Slayer began their true work with 1983's Show No Mercy where they showcased their signature playing style, but it was 1986's Music/ReignInBlood that really solidified Slayer as among Metal's greatest bands thanks to it's frightening and voracious sound, lyrics, and high energy, catapulting the band into the "Big Four of Thrash Metal". While the band had its number of hiccups, including members shifting, having to deal with MoralGuardians, their work suffering from a critical and commercial drop in the mid-late 1990s, and the death of guitarist Jeff Hanneman in 2013, Slayer's reputation and influence persevered, with their content even laying out the blueprint for future DeathMetal and BlackMetal acts. Slayer would release twelve albums and disband in 2019, by which then they were seen as one of the greatest and most important Heavy Metal artists ever.
* Of course, even after they disbanded, Slayer would, of course, remain a highly influential band, and this even persisted onto the Pantheon, who acknowledged Slayer's reputation, despite their own music being something that not everyone was intoafter all, Metal isn't meant to be a genre for everybody. On one particular day, each of the band's last lineup, consisting of founders, bassist and lead vocalist Tom Araya, guitarist Kerry King, and additional members, guitarist Gary Holtalso played for Music/Band, and drummer Paul Bostaphalso played for bands like Exodus, Systematic, and Music/Testament received a note that told them that they were invited to play together at a venue in Huntington Beach, California, where Slayer first formed. Despite some conflicting thoughts over the matter, the four banded together under the Slayer label and performed towards a crowd of thousands. At the end of the concert, Slayer was told that because of their influence, they were mentioned by who they assumed to be the Trope Pantheons and that they were said to have ascended into their ranks with the band representing Thrash Metal. With the announcement, the audience cheered as Slayer began to make plans for what they were going to do in a new world where they were seen as deities of sorts, something that felt polarizing for them.
* Of course, Slayer is one of the most popular Metal bands in the Pantheon, even if their sales don't say otherwise, and it is reflective of just how incremental they are to the Metal genre as a whole and with the way they've marketed their music. Some of Slayer's more dedicated fans wanted the band to become the main Metal representatives of the House of Pantheon/Musicality and replace Corey Taylor. All things considered, Slayer were rather humble with Corey's spot and they were okay with where they were. As expected with their music, they have a rather scary reputation with music fans, but most of the bandmates have been said to be rather Nice Guys in private and they, in return, tend to be very interactive and supportive of their fans. It's a rather stark contrast with the sort of music they play as well as their lyrical themes which tend to consist of dark subject matter like murder, cults, war, and Satanism.
* Much of Slayer's lyrics revolve around violent, warmongering beings, which tend to include some of history's most infamous and malevolent beings. One of their Signature Songs, Angel of Death is about UsefulNotes/JosefMengele, which led to the band being called out for being Anti-Semitic and Nazi Sympathizers, much to the band's dismay. Slayer has made it clear that they wrote about Mengele because their former guitarist, Jeff Hanneman, was a history buff who was into UsefulNotes/WorldWarII and they're well aware of the Nazi's infamy. Hanneman's father also fought in WWII and his brother even served in UsefulNotes/TheVietnamWar. Fortunately for the band, many have seemed to listen, and as Slayer stated, everyone should know that Josef Mengele and the Nazis were not good people, and their songs are meant to highlight their depravity. On the other hand, the tale and reputation of the Red Skull, HYDRA, and Fritz Von Meyer were quite interesting given the number of acts they've committed to the point where there could be a story written on it. Sabaton being admirers of Slayer and writing songs that are explicitly Anti-Nazi has helped with the two being eager to your together.
** Their decision to write a song about Deathshead caught the attention of the feared NaziHunter, B.J. Blazkowitz, himself a guitarist in his spare time. He quickly caught on with the fact that Slayer's focus on Nazis was simply out of interest and came to respect that, despite his own hatred towards them. Furthering this, B.J. ended up being a fan of Slayer's aggressive and chaotic musical style, even playing some tracks during his usual Nazi Huntin spree, much to Slayer's surprise, noting the morbid irony of slaughtering Nazis whilst listening to Angel of Death, Behind the Crooked Cross, and SS-3. B.J. even expressed a desire to fill in for Slayer as a touring guitarist for any upcoming tour in the Pantheon as a way to solidify their friendship, which the band was open to considering. Similarly, The Doomslayer was also a metalhead and approved of Slayer's songs as a great way to express his anger and provide some stress relief, even listening to the band's songs related to Satanism, partly to incite some irony over his reputation as a slayer of demons, though, he's not too interested in being a touring band member for Slayer, but not before throwing out his support for the band.
* Violent murderers and serial killers are no exception to Slayer's lyrical content and, as such, those like Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Chucky have plenty of gory material and viciousness to get descriptive on. Amusingly, Leatherface being real alongside the fact that he was inspired by John Wayne Gacy, who was the lyrical subject of Dead Skin Mask was something Slayer noticed rather quickly. It helps that Tom Araya not only is interested in serial killers but is also a fan of horror movies, even watching them with his wife and kids to pass the time, with Tom having to affirm to his kids that the movies are fictional and that there's no need to be scared. He's a bit more taken aback when some of the most vicious movie villains are now real and he's made it more than clear that he and the band condemn their actions. Finally, the less said about the murder of Elyse Palmer by a trio of murderous Satanists and the resulting lawsuit that the band had to deal with, the better.
* You probably expect Slayer to always be projecting a manly and rough image to the public and you'd be forgiven, considering how angry and aggressive their music is. Surprisingly most of the band members are pretty respectable and even loving towards animals, especially when they helped a kitten in Indianapolis find a new home and Gary Holt in particular is a general cat lover. The band has a good relationship with the Hall of Pantheon/Felines and Gary and Tom, being occasional visitors there like to tend and care for any kittens there if they can, with Gary making as many preparations as he can on Saturdays, or "Caturday" as he'd like to call it. Kerry has a fondness for reptiles and amphibians, even owning a herpetology nursery called the "Psychotic Exotics" and likes to visit the Hall of Pantheon/Reptiles to check and see his favorite animals and probably learn something new about them. Kerry does wish a Hall of Amphibians is established one day and learn about living prehistoric reptiles and dinosaurs, he's planning to give the halls of Pantheon/PrehistoricBeasts and Pantheon/MesozoicBeasts a visit one day.
* With songs like Jesus Savesthe title is sarcastic, and an album called God Hates Us All, one would think Slayer is anti-religious and you'd be right… about Kerry King, who has admitted to being an antitheist and has an opposition against organized religion. Of course, he doesn't like the House of Pantheon/ReligionAndFaith and personally doesn't like being called a god, a sentiment that he shares with the members of Mayhem. Regarding a question on what kind of powers he would have as a supervillain, Kerry stated he would like to have "the ability to burst a church into flames by simply walking by it." Of course, he doesn't want them, knowing that it wouldn't work well for his reputation and he's certainly not going to kill someone. In contrast, Tom Araya is actually a Roman Catholic, which made a number of deities wonder just how were Tom and Jerry able to perform together for decades despite their diametrically differing thoughts on religion, let alone how Araya singing a song about God being malevolent.
** For very obvious reasons, YHVH is the one deity in the Pantheon that Slayer detests. Kerry, in particular, hates YHVH so much after learning about his villainous actions and being an anthropomorphic representation of Maltheism that he sarcastically thanked the malevolent god for inspiring him to write a bunch of songs about him or under his perspectivethe songs are actually real, though Kerry doesn't deny his opposition. Tom is rather apprehensive, given his own Christian beliefs, while Gary and Paul generally don't give much thought to it, while YHVH, on the other hand, is somewhat peeved to hear that some band is writing unflattering music about the "one, supreme being", but has other matters to tend to. Damien Thorn was amused to hear that Slayer has a song called The Antichrist and he even came to hear and like the track himself to the point where he would put it under his playlist if he ever had one. Slayer was not too happy about Damien liking their music, if mainly because Damien is an actual threat they can stumble upon and him liking their music could result in bad PR. Damien doesn't hold it against Slayer, even calling Kerry hilarious for his comment about burning down churches whenever he walked by, much to the guitarist's chagrin.
* Sure, the worst of the worst is something that a lot of Metal bands would base their lyrics on. Slayer themselves have written about some particularly vile people, and they've personally admitted that Johan Liebert and Junko Enoshima are up there in writing material. Johan personally doesn't care much, but Junko was downright ecstatic about the idea of herself being the main character in a song and even more so when said song would be about the pain and torture she inflicted upon the students of Hope's Peak Academy and "The Tragedy". The idea around a song on Junko was a hot topic for the academy students, but Slayer wrote a personal message to them that they apologize if they traumatized or offended them in any way, not to mention that they are obviously not going to support Junko's actions, alongside any of the other criminals and monsters they write their songs about. Fortunately, the one time the band met with Makoto Naegi, everyone involved was relieved to learn that Slayer didn't mean any harm. As a bonus, the band even got to meet and play some music with Ibuki Mioda, who has since been practicing how to headbang and play faster as well as playing Slayer songs the next time she gets to play with the band.
* Unlike most other harsh and aggressive bands, Slayer doesn't present any sort of animosity or hard rivalry with Houkago Tea Time. This was especially impressive as Dethklok looked up to the Thrash Metal pioneers and Mayhem also paid credit as an influence to their own sound. While Slayer obviously isn't into what the girls usually play, they themselves aren't immune to their own cute moments, especially with Gary himself being a grandfather and a cat lover. Yui Hirasawa once called Tom over to have some tea and provide backup bass. Turns out Tom could actually sing clean and normal as he admits to playing country music to hone his skills. Of course, the rest of Houkago, sans Yui, find Slayer to be too scary and loud, but the band themselves find the whole situation rather amusing and like to poke fun, albeit they make sure none of it is malicious. Houkago does have some experience in dealing with a metalhead, namely their teacher and club advisor, Sawako Yamanaka, and Slayer found her attempts in hiding her fun-loving Metalhead persona rather charming, though they did visit Sawa-chan a visit and gave her a private live performance that supposedly made her day. Much to everyone's surprise, Tom and Gary do drink tea with Yui and play pranks to scare off the other girls, though Paul Bostaph is open to giving Ritsu Tainaka some advice about drumming, hoping that she can use it to be more technical in her playing style in case she couldn't go too aggressive. Hopefully, one hopes that Slayer's affable, yet vitriolic relationship with Houkago does put a halt to Dethklok and Mayhem's antagonism towards them.
* Of course, Slayer wouldn't be where they are right now if it weren't for their fans, be it as one of Heavy Metal's most celebrated artists or a place in the Pantheon, being able to play at their peak in however way they like it. As a bonus, they've also attracted a slew of new fans like Princess Luna and Iron Man, with the former being a surprise Metalhead to her friends and close ones and the latter being open about his taste in music. Slayer themselves were pleasantly surprised to see an alicorn and a superhero being a fan of their music, though they're a bit skeptical on how their music would fare in Equestra if they ever tour there. Supergirl at times listens to Hard Rock and Metal and sometimes sees Slayer as one of her preferred artists to listen to if she either wants to vent out her anger or stress or wants to beat the ever-living daylights out of someone, though she gets embarrassed about the idea of spilling literal Raining Blood on her worst days. Sure Slayer is happy to see that Supergirl likes their work, but they also want to affirm her not to put too much association with her mood on that out of concern on both sides. That, and there's some humor to be had in that Superman likes Metallic more while Supergirl prefers Slayer.
* Overall, Slayer have carved one of the strangest, yet most well-known reputations as a band in the Pantheon, thanks to their willingness to get explicit in their lyricism about evil individuals and heinous actions. Some have actually approved of Slayer's efforts in vilifying their acts and reputation, though that might be because they crave the notion of being a villain and the infamy that is generated by their acts. Others, like Hannibal Lecter, Light Yagami, and most Nazis are either more neutral or annoyed by Slayer writing songs about them, with Hannibal claiming that their style doesn't fit with his perspective of what he desires as "classy and sophisticated" while Light is irritated by the band supposedly making his actions out to be degrading, though he realized that killing the band would raise suspicions on him if he ever does so. Nazis, on the other hand, see Slayer's music as insulting to their ideals and their wartime efforts, which oddly enough, ended up with them being compared to moral guardians in that regard, further prompting many of the Nazis to openly condemn Slayer of their music being slandering and an attack on their ideology, which the band reacted with some amusement.
