When he encountered The Pagemaster, Montag was a bit surprised to learn about a book wizard and all that entails. The Pagemaster was shocked to learn about a world where reading and knowledge are forbidden and came to understand where Montag is coming from. While they (and his own race) have a reputation of being AlwaysChaoticEvil, only mutants like the Frieza Clan are truly wicked. Cooler wasn't happy at this, chastising his brother for letting yet another Saiyan survive.
* [[Anime/DragonBallSuper When the Tournament of Power happened]], Turles was simultaneously happy and livid. Happy because Universe 6 doesn't have the caste system and is a lot stronger on average. Livid because FRIEZA [[EnemyMine was part of Team Universe 7]]. He'd rather Universe 7 get erased than allow that psychopath to work with the Saiyans. Frieza merely responded that he was a pale imitation, about to become even paler as he's planning something ''big''.
* [[WebVideo/DragonBallZAbridged Apparently, he HATES Christmas]], and uses the Tree of Might to suck the Christmas spirit out of planets. He hates Santa because he never visited Planet Vegeta, Saiyans instead got [[EarthShatteringKaboom Frieza Day]]. Turns out Santa did try to visit Planet Vegeta, it's just they kept trying to shoot down his sleigh. [[spoiler:Santa later had a FaceHeelTurn [[BadSanta and became Dr. Lychee/Hatchiyack]], using a Ghost Warrior Turles to get rid of "naughty" humans]].
* Recently joined forces with his fellow Saiyan Army remnants to form a mercenary platoon in the Pantheon following the ascension of the colonel Paragus, who needs the help of a strong Saiyan crew. There are factors at play with this team which may disturb his own goals, such as Paragus wanting to use his favored version of Broly to defeat the more evil Broly that Turles sometimes tries to work with, Bardock placing Kakarot and his friends off-limits to attack except for Vegeta, and his general dislike for both Raditz and Vegeta's once-dutiful enforcer Nappa. Despite all this, the renegade Saiyan honestly doesn't care, so long as he gets to continue getting stronger and never has to serve Frieza again (which ''all of them'' agreed on).
