[[folder:Replaced Alliance Subdivision Page 3]]
On the edges of the Lost Sector lie the opportunists of this alliance, the faction known as the Scar Corps. Though they serve a means to Nekron's ends, their objective are not one of destruction for its own sake-the great death that this Great Alliance brings [[DragonWithAnAgenda simply empowers their own goals.]] That, or they are so madly genocidal not even Nekron himself can trust them. Of all factions, they are perhaps most loathed for betraying all life for their own goals...or seen as the most useful to Nekron's enemies, with a number of them [[TheMole supporting another alliance.]]

Because of their tenuous alliance, Nekron has prepared them to be the first of his members to be reaped, and many are wary on Nekron simply getting fed up with them and turning them into Black Lanterns. While this fate will likely befall many of them, the confident have a strong bet [[DidYouJustScamCthulhu they may outwit even the Dark Matter Lord.]] Even then, time will tell whether [[TheStarscream they'll turn on him]], [[BecomingTheMask or choose to embrace his nihilistic philosophy.]]

'''ComicBook/{{Thanos}}, The GalacticConqueror''' (Mad Titan, Thanos Rex, Avatar of Death, Dione)
* Greater God (Overdeity with the fully-powered Infinity Gauntlet, [[spoiler:or the [[VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcomInfinite Satsui no Hadou]]]])
* Symbol: Skulls or his hand with the Infinity Gauntlet
* Alignment: NeutralEvil
* Reason for Joining: He sees the GUAD as like-minded people who want to see the death of all things, but Nekron put him here as he once sought GUAE membership as well given how understaffed the GUAD is comparatively. Also, Thanos does not seek universal annihilation [[ForTheEvulz for its own sake]], but to impress Mistress Death.
* Loyalty to Nekron: Low. He'll kill him when he has the chance, seeing him as inferior to the love of his life. The only reason they work together because they share (relatively) similar ideals.
* Threat Level: Very high, EXTREME if he ever gets his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet.

'''[[WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy Mandy]], Goddess of [[EnfanteTerrible Children From Hell]]'''
* Lesser Goddess
* Symbol: Her hair shaped in devil horns
* Alignment: TrueNeutral with Evil tendencies
* Reason for joining: To enslave all Grim Reapers to her will, Nekron included
* Loyalty to Nekorn: See "reason for joining." In other words, none at all
* Threat level: Medium. As far as we know, she's an ordinary human. However [[DidYouJustScamCthulhu her manipulative prowess]] makes her very deadly
* Also happens to be a member of the Grand United Alliance of Evil

'''[[Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann The Anti-Spiral]], God of [[AbsoluteXenophobe Universal Genocide]]'''
* Overdeity
* Symbol: A Mugann Unit
* Alignment: LawfulEvil(claims to be LawfulNeutral)
* Reason for joining: To eliminate emotion, and thus Spiral Energy
* Loyalty to Nekron: None. The Anti-Spiral is only working with Nekron to exterminate the near-entirety of life, not ''all'' of it. When Nekron has reduced life to under a million per planet, it will betray him.
* Threat level: Extreme
* Also happens to be a member of the Grand United Alliance of Evil.

'''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEED Rau Le Creuset]], God of [[InYourNatureToDestroyYourselves Endless War as Mankind's Nature]]''' ([[spoiler: Al Da Flaga II]])
* Intermediate God
* Symbol: His Mask
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil
* Reason for joining: To destroy humanity.
* Loyalty to Nekron: At least insofar a means to wipe out human kind, if he find the rest of life similarly lacking (a probable outcome [[StrawNihilist given his cynicism]]), High.
* Threat Level: High. His talent for exploiting humanities destructive nature brought it [[NearVillainVictory within moments of mutual genocide with it being none the wiser]], and he did so [[MagnificentBastard with nothing more then subtle manipulation, and with style]].
* Also happens to be a member of the Grand United Alliance of Evil

'''[[VideoGame/GuildWars Dhuum]], Godly Enforcer of [[TheProblemWithFightingDeath Inevitable Death]]'''
* Intermediate God
* Symbol: Dhuum's scythe.
* Alignment: LawfulEvil
* Reason for joining: To retake his powers from Grenth and to bring death to those who has been resurrected.
* Loyalty to Nekron: '''ZERO'''. The only reason that Dhuum is working with the GUAD is for the above reason. Once he has accomplished his goals, he will betray the GUAD.
* Threat Level: High. He is utterly devoted to bring final death to both those who has been resurrected and those who're undead (undeads within the GUAD are left alone... for now), and he is not to be underestimated in direct combat, as his depowered form is still more than a match for eight Tyrian heroes. His threat level increases should he successfully retake his powers from Grenth.

'''[[VideoGame/{{Darksouls}} Man]][[VideoGame/DarkSoulsII us]], God and Goddesses of [[SoulFragment Soul Fragments]] and Embodiment of the [[HumanityIsInsane Madness]] and [[HumansAreCthulhu Unknowability of Man]]''' (Father of The Abyss, The Furtive Pygmy, The Primeval Man, His Fragments: Nashandra (Queen of Drangleic, The Augur of Want), Elana (The Squalid Queen, the Augur of Wrath), Nadalia (The Bride of Ash, the Augur of Solitude), Alsanna (The Silent Oracle, the Augur of Fear), The Darklurker)
* Greater God and Intermediate Goddesses
* Symbol: The Dark Soul surrounded by The Abyss, Dark Sorcery, Rot, Ash and Ice
* Alignment: Chaotic Evil (For itself and Darklurker), Lawful Evil (For Nashandra and Elana), Neutral Evil (For Nadalia), Lawful Good (For Alsanna)
* Reason for joining: He sees Nekron as a stepping stone to his objective, spread the Blight of the Abyss and twist all life in the Pantheon in its loathsome horrors.
* Loyalty to Nekron: '''NONE''' Manus, ''never'' trusts the God of Death in every way. He only sees him as a step, and never a full-fledged ally.
* Threat Level: '''VERY HIGH'''. He is named the ''Father of the Abyss'' for a reason. He holds the Blight which will allow him to gain more powers and twist anything to its image within its vicinity. What makes it even worse, he has ''five'' forms. [[spoiler: 4 of which want to follow Manus' footsteps and the fifth and last wanting to bring hope around the Pantheon.]] If that doesn't make cut it, good luck facing its strength.

'''[[VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising Hades]], God of [[ManipulativeBastard Playing the Field]]''' (Lord of the Underworld, Jerk, "Go Home")
* Greater God
* Symbol: His "representative" symbol from Kid Icarus: Uprising
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil
* Reason for joining Nekron: He plans to use the destruction caused by the GUAD to harvest the souls of those who are slain and use them to create more soldiers for the Underworld Army
* Loyalty to Nekron: None. He plans to turn on the GUAD once there's no other souls left
* Threat Level: '''VERY HIGH'''. He's the second most powerful god in his universe. It took a hell of a lot of effort just to seriously damage him, and even then, he just regrew the missing limbs.

'''[[VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles1 Metal Face]], God of [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty Revocation of Karma Escapes]]''' ([[DubNameChange Black Face]], [[spoiler: Mumkhar]])
* Intermediate God
* Symbol: His claws
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil
* Reason for joining Nekron: "Anything that pisses off Dunban and that Monado Boy works for me! I also get to kill so many people this way too!"
* Loyalty to Nekron: Metal Face is notorious for being a double-crosser, and the first sign that Nekron's on the losing side is when Metal Face will turn tail.
* Threat Level: High.

'''[[Franchise/TheElderScrolls Alduin]], Nordic God of [[WordsCanBreakMyBones Words of Power]]'''
* Greater God
* Symbol: A stone carving of his head, inscribed under which are runes in the Dragon Language reading, "AL DU IN".
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil
* Reason for joining: In his home universe of Mundus, Alduin is destined to swallow the world at the end of time. Due to his excessive arrogance, he instead enslaved the mortal races of Tamriel and killed those who rebelled, while continuing to embrace his species' natural inclination to destroy even though it was still too soon for the world to end. Upon ascending, the World-Eater joined the GUAD in order to have aid in decimating the Pantheon, feasting on the souls of those whom he perceives as a threat, and bringing the survivors under his thrall.
* Loyalty to Nekron: None. Alduin does not take kindly to being bossed around, especially not by someone who isn't a fellow [[OurDragonsAreDifferent dovah]]. Once Nekron has played his part in helping him to conquer the Pantheon, the dragon will make no hesitation in either devouring or enslaving him with the rest. The Lord of the Unliving himself is not particularly fond of the World-Eater, as his immortality and lack of comprehension of death blasphemes the philosophies of the GUAD. He is hoping that Alduin himself will die permanently once the Pantheon has been annihilated due to having his predestined role fulfilled and, for this reason as well as the fact that the Firstborn of Akatosh is a highly efficient agent in his crusade against life, [[CantKillYouStillNeedYou has not yet made an attempt to dispose of him]].
* Threat Level: Very High. As a being who is assigned by fate to destroy both the physical and metaphysical planes, Alduin can cause large-scale devastation all on his own simply by shouting words in his own tongue and not even being dead is guaranteed to protect you from him. While perhaps topped by Deathwing in terms of sheer power, he is more able to perform calculated attacks and negotiate with others to further his ends as a result of not being hindered by insanity.

'''[[VideoGame/{{Destiny}} Oryx]], Unholy Representative of [[OurLichesAreDifferent Unconventional Liches]]'''
* Greater God, Overdeity in his Throne World
* Symbol: [[http://symbolsnet.com/thumbs/g8Z10hUtLUHjJTXD8DkZXDx8YNfyL_dpZI6BKH-BAW5KDFlZpPdz-XiXPuA4HrMqU8Ok04hRstDHdRHEP1wgQg.jpg His Hive emblem]]
* Alignment: LawfulEvil with ChaoticEvil goals
* Reason for joining: Hive beliefs are ruled by the ideology of Sword Logic, which can be simplified as Social Darwinism taken to its most extreme. Everything and anything will soon be rendered to its final, perfect shape and the Hive wish to be the victor in the end. Once Oryx caught wind of a great conflict that is the Grand United Alliances, he flocked to the GUAD to aid in the utter annihilation of all opposing forces to, again, be the final perfect shape and to satiate his worm in the longrun. No other alliance would have accepted his beliefs so they too will be annihilated.
* Loyalty to Nekron: None. While Oryx has some fondness towards other undead, Nekron is just another means to an end for sword logic as killing himself would mean rendering all his efforts for nothing.
* Threat Level: Very High. He didn't destroy entire worlds just because they were weak enough to do so. From infecting existence itself and leading armies that go wherever they please, wielding a BFS that rends at the will and molecular bonds of others, utilizing much of the darkness' power against his opponents, and being able to push his Throne World's plane of existence outward from his ship. And speaking of, thanks to being an Ascendant Hive he is ''very'' difficult to kill, requiring to face him in his own dimension where he is at his strongest.

'''[[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 The C'Tan]], Divine Race Of StarKilling''' (Star Gods, the Ynigr (as a group). Notable members are Aza'Gorod the Nightbringer, Mephet'ran the Deceiver, Mag'ladroth the Void Dragon, Tsara'noga the Outsider, lesser known are Llandu'gor the Flayer, Nyadra'zatha the Burning One and Yggra'nya the World Maker)
* Greater Deities (their shards), Overdeities (the original C'Tan)
* Alignment: LawfulEvil (Mag'ladroth), NeutralEvil (Aza'Gorod, Llandu'gor and Mepet'ran), ChaoticEvil (Nyadra'zatha and Tsara'noga)
* Reason for joining Nekron: To feed on stars delicious souls.
* Loyalty to Nekron: None. They'll turn on him before there's nothing left to feed on.
* Threat Level: High as individual shards. Extreme if they were all brought back together.

'''[[Franchise/KingdomHearts Master Xehanort]], God of [[XanatosSpeedChess Gambit Speed Chess]]''' (The Seeker Of Darkness, Unknown, The Superior of the In-Between, Ansem, Xemnas, [[SignificantAnagram No Heart]], [[spoiler:Terranort, "[[VideoGame/JakIIRenegade Baron Praxis]]"]])
* Intermediate God who can manipulate Overdeities, Greater God in his prime.
* Symbol: His Keyblade, a black and silver axe-shaped Cool Key. Is also heavily associated with the Heartless, Nobody and Unversed symbols.
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil
* Reason for joining: He hopes to use the GUAD in his plan to destroy the universe and rebuild it in his image.
* Loyalty to Nekron: None. In fact, it's very likely that Master Xehanort has already come up with several back-up plans in case the GUAD fails or if they interfere in the rebirth of the universe.
* Threat level: Extreme. Master Xehanort is a master strategist and almost always plans for every possible scenario.

'''[[VideoGame/BravelyDefault Airy]], Goddess of [[ContinueYourMissionDammit Constant Reminders for Game Progression]]''' (The Evil One, Piercer of Boundaries, Airy the Fairy)
* Greater Goddess
* Symbol: The numbers on her wings appearing in a circle, counting from 5 to 1 clockwise
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil (pretended to be LawfulGood)
* Reason for joining: To empower her master Ouroboros into destroying all worlds and the Celestial Realm.
* Loyalty to Nekron: Medium. While sharing similar goals, she is still loyal to Ouroboros above him.
* Threat Level: Very High. Her incredible magical strength and her manipulative skill prove her to be a formidable ally and foe.

'''[[VideoGame/StarControl The Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah]], Divine Harbingers of [[TimedMission Dreaded Time Limits]]''' (The Black Ur-Quan)
* Greater Deities
* Symbol: A Kohr-Ah Marauder
* Alignment: A blend of NeutralEvil and OmnicidalNeutral (View themselves as NeutralGood)
* Reason for joining: They were promised support for fulfilling their Eternal Doctrine, which is essentially killing all sentient life excluding Ur-Quan to protect their free will, which would include the GUAD itself eventually.
* Loyalty to Nekron: Very, very low. They only seek to destroy all sentient life for the sake of ensuring they will not be enslaved by anything, and they will certainly not accept being destroyed themselves when the time comes.
* Threat Level: Very High. Even one Kohr-Ah Marauder, deadly in battle and difficult to match, can threaten the life of one planet, and their enormous fleet of at least thousands has half a galaxy of their life cleansed away to their name. Eventually, they will enter a Pantheonic Doctrinal War with the Ur-Quan Kzer-Za for the [[EldritchStarship Sa-Matra]], which will ascend in the hands of the winning force, which will increase the Kohr-Ah's threat level to EXTREME should they win.

'''[[VideoGame/{{Hatred}} The Antagonist]], God of [[TooBleakStoppedCaring Excessively Bleak Settings]]''' ([[MemeticMutation "Not Important", Nadim Portant, Northem Portent, Nodhim Poortint]], The Crusader, The Hero, [[WebAnimation/ZeroPunctuation Jeffrey Cuddletrousers]], [[WesternAnimation/{{Metalocalypse}} Nathan Explosion]], [[FanNickname Edgy McEdgerson]])
* Lesser Deity
* Symbol: His Black Longcoat
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil
* Reason for Joining: To get more weaponry to continue his genocidal rampages around the Pantheon and to find people to kill.
* Loyalty to Nekron: Non existent. The Antagonist is only in the GUAD to kill people. He doesn’t care about working for Nekron or anyone, all he cares about is death and destruction.
* Threat Level: High. While The Antagonist is not very hard to subdue in a fight, he was able to destroy New York City in his home world by blowing up a nuclear power plant, killing countless people. He is also somewhat proficient in the use of firearms.

To nobody's surprise, an alliance built on evil is going to have a PR problem. It certainly didn't help stop the hemorrhaging of members to the [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfLaw GUAL]] and [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfChaos GUAC]]. For this reason, Melkor decided to form a faction to take care of just that. Those in the False Shepherds tend to not be public about their membership, in order to enhance their own PR. And through them Melkor hopes to ensnare people into evil through charming smiles, promises of a better world and raw charisma.

Partly because that he is also untrustworthy of the False Shepherds, as they're also good at swaying members of the GUAE towards their personal agendas and against their own. However being an ObviouslyEvil CardCarryingVillain just doesn't cut it in the modern pantheon if you want success.

* Loyalty to Melkor: He's fine working with Melkor so long as he doesn't try to cheat him out of money.
* Threat level: Medium. While (hopefully) not that powerful, the Coachman has enslaved and stolen hundreds of children, all while keeping a good appearance to those who might call him out. * Symbol: The Red Eye of The Crimson King
* Alignment: ChaoticEvil
* Reason for joining: The misery he can cause with the aid of Melkor and the GUAE [[ForTheEvulz is one hell of a time]]. Melkor in turn values his dark charisma
* Loyalty to Melkor: He seemed loyal to [[GreaterScopeVillain the Crimson King]], but had his own plans to take control of the Dark Tower under his nose. So none, though is willing to work under Melkor for a long time.

These are the redeemed gods of the Ministry of Atonement, a sub-division of the Pantheon/GUAGCombatDivision. After the events of the Pantheonic Rebellion, they have banded together as an army.

This division consists not just redeemed people, but also of those who have abandoned their dark heritage to embrace the light, dark magical girls, and those to who the concept of atonement is a key part of who they are. A good portion of these members were once in the Pantheon/GUAGTokenEvilTeammates.

Since the concept of redemption is heavily dependent on hope, The Ministry of Atonement has close ties to Kibou Go, especially the Support and Redemption Unit.

[[folder:Old Grand United Alliance of Good]]

->''"Good actions give strength to ourselves and inspire good actions in others."''
-->-- '''Creator/{{Plato}}'''

Currently little is known about this Alliance's early history except that it was originally founded by [[Pantheon/DivineRoles Eru Ilúvatar]], who eventually chose [[Pantheon/{{Heroism}} Cosmos]] to succeed him as the Alliance's leader. Many of the gods in the pantheon who could be considered good have joined the Grand United Alliance of Good (GUAG). Some because they were promised to have their fondest wishes granted, others simply for the chance to create justice and peace. Their minimum goal is to protect the Pantheon and their maximum goal is the destruction of [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil evil]].

Most members here trust one another. However, some think to prepare themselves for the off-chance their allies will [[FaceHeelTurn go rogue]]. Many members of the GUAG are loyal to Cosmos and happily work with her knowing that their ideals are hers as well. Cosmos' leadership is generally laissez-faire, with her only collective rule being that all members of the GUAG must sincerely pursue the cause of good.

The GUAG functions as a multiversal NGOSuperpower governed by Cosmos and the Command Division. Under this are Divisions organized according to specific purposes such as Combat, Engineering, Intelligence and Support. The largest and most diverse of these is the Combat Division, the GUAG's armed forces, consisting of hundreds of heroic deities and billions of their followers, with Cosmos as their commander-in-chief. All of the Divisions coordinate with each other and share resources when necessary. In addition to fighting their enemies, the GUAG works to promote peace, cooperation, justice, freedom and livelihood for all throughout the Pantheon and every universe in existence.

The influence of the GUAG extends far beyond the Pantheon and to countless planes of existence. Affiliated organizations such as SHIELD, the Green Lantern Corps, the Jedi, the Fairy Tail guild, the Hellsing Organization, Overwatch and many galactic [[TheFederation federations]] serve GUAG interests in their respective universes.

It also should be noted that there are many members of the GUAG who aren't really ''[[GoodIsNotNice all that good]]''. Such people identify as [[AntiHero anti-heroes]] and [[AntiVillain anti-villains]] who can't stand the idea of working under Melkor. This sometimes even extends to characters [[HeroicComedicSociopath with]] [[SociopathicHero few]] [[MagnificentBastard redeeming]] [[WellIntentionedExtremist qualities]] compared to others, but such occurrences are rare. However, the rise of the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfChaos and the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfLaw has given these less-savory gods a couple of potential new homes...

The main headquarters of the GUAG is a small, yet lush planet originally formed by Eru Ilúvatar and since refined by Cosmos, who has named it New Ivalice with Eru's blessing. Cosmos and the Command Division allow members of the GUAG to inhabit New Ivalice as they see fit, resulting in several scattered towns and villages throughout the land with various architectural styles and cultures. Cosmos' palace, the Sanctuary of Order, is located just off the coast of New Ivalice's largest town. All members of the GUAG may access New Ivalice via portals located within their temples and the planet itself is situated in a secret dimension and defended by the best the GUAG has to offer including magic, technology, weapons, and even summoned monsters. The GUAG also has a {{Magitek}} flying fortress that can be used as a mobile base of operations and a port for space-faring deities. Currently, it is used by the Robot War Division as the hub of its military operations.

While the GUAG is diametrically opposed to Melkor and the Grand United Alliance of Evil, it also fights other Pantheon alliances and deities who promote conflict, injustice, suffering, tyranny, murder and destruction. The GUAG has established working relationships with Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfNature (GUAN) and the Pantheon/OrderOfHumanity. The GUAN sees the GUAG as the Pantheon alliance most considerate to nature besides themselves and the Order of Humanity's goal of protecting and improving the virtues of humankind meshes well with the GUAG's goals. The Order's leader, [[Pantheon/{{Pragmatism}} the God-Emperor of Mankind]], is also a member of GUAG's Command Division. Because of differences in ideals and priorities, the GUAN and the Order of Humanity don't always get along with the GUAG, but they are generally on good terms nonetheless.

In Cyberspace, the [[ColourCodedForYourConvenience color]] of the TronLines for deities aligned with the GUAG is Cyan.

'''Grand United Alliance Of Evil'''

->''And travelers now within that valley,''
-> ''Through the red-litten windows, see''
->''Vast forms that move fantastically''
-> ''To a discordant melody;''
->''While, like a rapid ghastly river,''
-> ''Through the pale door,''
->''A hideous throng rush out forever,''
-> ''And laugh—but smile no more.''
-->-- '''Creator/EdgarAllanPoe'''

Currently little is known about the Alliance's origin except that it was created by Melkor upon his escape from the Void and that many of the gods in the pantheon who could be considered evil have joined it. Some did so because they were promised by Melkor to have their fondest wishes granted, others [[ForTheEvulz simply for the chance to cause destruction and chaos for the sheer sadistic fun of it]] and few were unwillingly forced into it. Their minimum goal is total conquest of the Pantheon and the destruction of [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfGood all those who oppose them in it]], and their ''maximum'' goal is to gain control over all dimensions in existence including the one beyond the fourth wall.

It should be noted that many of the members of the Alliance [[BastardUnderstudy don't really trust each other and would gladly stab each other in the back.]] However, most realize that if they were to start fighting each other in the middle of the war it would only lead to defeat, humiliation, imprisonment, and possibly even death at the hands of their enemies. So most of them are waiting until ''AFTER'' they've won the conflict to turn on each other. The keyword here is "most"; some are StupidEvil enough to need bribery and fear to keep them in line.

It can also be believed that the GUAE is not merely limited to those in the Pantheon but to those who serve under them or who associate with them and that like a gigantic octopus it has its tentacles in every universe.

Their headquarters is a vast extra-dimensional space they created by merging the land of {{Mordor}}, [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 The Eye of Terror]], and [[Manga/{{Bleach}} the Hueco Mundo]]. GUAE members can travel back and forth from this dimension via [[VideoGame/Persona2 Monado Mandala's]] [[PortalNetwork dimensional portal system]]. Its main complex is a modernized version of Sauron's tower, Barad-Dur.

Of late, Melkor is VERY displeased that his alliance has been suddenly cast into doubt as the greatest threat to the Pantheon with the rise of the alliances of [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfLaw Order]] and [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfChaos Chaos]]. There's been some raving during meetings about how "Nobody cares about if something's lawful or chaotic! All people really want to talk about is good and evil! How did my mighty alliance get sidelined by those '''upstarts'''!!!???!!???"

Furthermore, there's been some dissension in the ranks, as a few of the members are considering switching to the other alliances. Melkor's made it clear to every member that "you are villains above all". [[spoiler: This actually helped further the fissures. Already some have begun packing their bags - their only consolation is that it's bound to happen as well at the GUAG.]]

In Cyberspace, the [[ColourCodedForYourConvenience color]] of the TronLines for deities aligned with the GUAE (or the Master Control Program, in particular) is Red.

[[folder:Old Grand United Alliance of Law]]
->''"Order is the sanity of the mind, the health of the body, the peace of the city, the security of the state."''
--> -- '''Eliza Cook'''
Here lies the Grand United Alliance of Law, ruled by [[Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei YHVH]], The Absolute Lawmaker. It is important to note that unlike the Grand United Alliance of Good, this faction is not filled with genuine good guys, a constant reminder that Law and Good are not necessarily synonymous (although YHVH himself would disagree). The Forces of Law stand for order, structure, and peace, at any price: as such, the motivations of its members range from pious individuals who see YHVH's ideals as the path to happiness for all, to brutal dictators simply wishing to crush all vestiges of freedom underfoot. Opposing the Grand United Alliance of Law is The Grand United Alliance of Chaos, led by [[Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei Lucifer]], The Creator of Chaos, though YHVH's actions have stepped on the toes of the other Alliances as well.

The GUAL's base of operations is the multiple realms of Heaven.

The first layer is known as Purgatorium. Though it is a [[FluffyCloudHeaven beautiful, heavenly]] domain, at first sight, it has been described as a cold and unsettling place, and the demons and angels that wander its pathways are as deadly as any resident of the Labyrinth of Amala. There is a large, shiny gate at the end, labeled "Paradiso", which radiates such dazzling, cold light only members of the Ministry and the Order can manage to endure it across to the chambers of the Council.

Hidden from view is YHVH's true domain, YHVH's Universe, where his vastness is hidden by the mass-produced angels and illusions that tread its expansive and empty halls. YHVH and his most trusted servants reside here, with the Divine Powers having stolen the keys that allow anyone else in the pantheon to enter it.

In Cyberspace, the [[ColourCodedForYourConvenience color]] of the TronLines for deities aligned with the GUAL is Yellow. This does not include Clu's "[[BrainwashedAndCrazy army]]", who instead have Red lines.

'''Factions'''

* Pantheon/GUALHighCouncil: The masterminds of the GUAL.
* Pantheon/GUALMinistryOfTheWord: A group of the GUAL's most charismatic and intelligent members, acting as a combination of Ministry of Propaganda and Inquisition.
* Pantheon/GUALMagistrateJudges: The faction in charge of managing YHVH's overzealous enforcement of his Lawful will and balancing the Lawful Evil of the GUAL members.
** Pantheon/GUALCouncilOfLiberty: A sub-division of the Magistrate Judges with additional members who follow the lead of Seraph Lamington and Havelock Vetinari.
* Pantheon/GUALTemplarOrder: The GUAL's elite strike force, sent to purge those the Ministry declares a threat.

[[folder:Old Grand United Alliance of Chaos]]
->''"I tell you: one must still have chaos in one, to give birth to a dancing star. [[DareToBeBadass I tell you: you have still chaos in you.]]"''
-->-- '''Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra'''

The Grand United Alliance of Chaos, created soon after the Great Upheaval by [[Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei Lucifer]], the Creator of Chaos, to stand against his archenemy [[Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei YHVH]], the Absolute Lawmaker. The forces that make up the alliance are as varied as they come, from those who abhor the idea of unshakeable, totalitarian order in favor of free will, to those enticed by the idea of wild lawlessness where they can fight to their heart's content, to those with dreams of remaking the world to fit their desires, to those who simply want to see the world burn. In any case, the Forces of Chaos stand for freedom and all it entails and will do ANYTHING to see their paradise brought to fruition.

They make their base within the deepest depths of the Labyrinth of Amala, a [[{{Hell}} hellish]] maze rife with bloodthirsty demons and deadly traps. Though these things act as a near-impenetrable defense against the unworthy, members of the GUAC are not exempt from having to fight through them to get from place to place. According to Lucifer, it's to keep everyone's skills sharp. The Labyrinth is divided into five levels, or 'Kalpa', each one deeper and more dangerous than the previous. The lower a member can descend into the Labyrinth, the higher his or her rank in the Alliance, with the Lords of Chaos being those powerful enough to reach the Meeting Chamber at the very bottom.

In Cyberspace, the [[ColourCodedForYourConvenience color]] of the TronLines for deities aligned with the GUAC is Green.

Factions within the GUAC:

* [[Pantheon/GUACLordsOfChaos Lords of Chaos]] - Lucifer and the other masterminds.
* [[Pantheon/GUACMorningstarBattalion Morningstar Battalion]] - The GUAC's elite combat unit.

[[folder:Old Grand United Alliance of Destruction]]
->''"Destruction, hence, like creation, is one of Nature's mandates."''
-->-- '''Creator/MarquisDeSade'''

Here, hidden under the shadows of the four Grand Alliances is a lesser known fifth alliance. One that has slowly been growing its numbers, and after years of waiting is ready to begin its war on [[OmnicidalNeutral on the rest of the Pantheon]]. Made to replace [[ComicBook/BlackestNight the relative failure of the Black Lanterns]] and rise to fight the PowersThatBe, this is [[ComicBook/GreenLantern Nekron's]] Grand United Alliance of Destruction.

Members of this alliance are motivated for a variety of reasons: [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds the broken hearted who wish revenge]], [[PutThemAllOutOfMyMisery those that want to end suffering in the most extreme means possible]], [[StrawNihilist the insane]] [[AxCrazy and mindless]] who's made themselves enemies of everyone and those who merely see destruction as a means to an end. However, they are all united in one goal: the destruction of the Pantheon and [[OmnicidalManiac the complete annihilation of every living thing]].

Because of their mad goal, this Alliance is forced to hide into the shadows, often playing multiple sides or [[TheMole sending spies]]. For those depraved enough to join with such an antagonistic group, one should seek the dead world of Ryut. On the centre of this world is a portal to their base in the Land of the Unliving: a limbo-like Underworld where undetermined souls are processed, with Nekron's black matter throne in the centre.

In spite of sharing the same desire, [[ComicBook/CrisisOnInfiniteEarths the Anti-Monitor]] is not only unwelcome, but considered the #1 enemy to this Alliance. This is because the Anti-Monitor [[ItsPersonal despises Nekron for using him as a battery]]-a fate Nekron seeks to increase the power of his Black Lantern army. Also, given [[OmnicidalManiac the mentality of the Alliance's members]], loyalty is often questioned. Though in spite of all this, the Grand Alliances watch them carefully, knowing their potential is not to be ignored.

In Cyberspace, the [[ColourCodedForYourConvenience color]] of the TronLines for deities aligned with the GUAD is Black.

Factions within the GUAD

* [[Pantheon/GUADMasters Masters]]: Home to Nekron and his most useful members, who command the other factions
* [[Pantheon/GUADRingOverlords Ring Overlords]]: The brains of the GUAD, who develop stratagems and form ways of countering the Grand Alliances
* [[Pantheon/GUADBlackHammer Black Hammer]]: The army of the GUAD, chosen for their destructive potential and violent nature. They are the muscle of the organization
* [[Pantheon/GUADScarCorps Scar Corps]]: Those who do not seek [[OmnicidalManiac destruction for its own sake]], but rather see the GUAD as a means to some other end

'''Grand United Alliance of Nature'''

->All natural things both live and move
->In natural peace that is their own;
->Only in our disordered life
->Almost is she unknown.
->She is not rest, nor sleep, nor death;
->Order and motion ever stand
->To carry out her firm behests
->As guards at her right hand.
-->-- '''Reminiscences''' - ''Bessie Rayner Parkes''

An alliance led by Gaea, its forces are focused on the preservation and proliferation of nature. The Pantheonic Toa is similar, but it's more of just a listing of power users. This adapts some of the ideas and makes it focused on nature itself. Easily rivals with the GUAM sometimes going into FleshVersusSteel territory, but the direct enemies to the GUAD. Though generally benevolent, sometimes NatureIsNotNice and can get in the way, and they will use eco-terrorism is needed

Emerging as a reaction to the rise of the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfDestruction and Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfMachines, the Grand United Alliance Of Nature is [[Pantheon/NaturePreservers Gaea's]] attempt to both protect the sanctity of nature and re-establish its dominance. Located in a vast garden full of common and rare flora and fauna, the goal of the alliance is to defend the natural order and life against those who would threaten it, and the conflict of the various alliances that threatens to throw it in disarray.

While considered ALighterShadeOfGrey, that still does not make them ''good''. They're preoccupied with the stability and superiority of nature, [[NatureIsNotNice which isn't always a good thing]] and will trample over heroic gods to achieve that. Still, as the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfGood is the alliance most expected to respect nature, they are the alliance they have the best relationship with. Not that some more eco-friendly members of the other alliances, even those from the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil don't have a working relationship with the GUAN.

The polar opposite of the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfDestruction, who represent destruction and the end of life. The GUAN [[ArchEnemy hates them more than any other alliance]], and if given a choice between them and any other alliance [[EnemyMine will help that alliance in their war against GUAD]]. The GUAM has the second worst relationship, but it's less a case of inherently despising each other and more [[TheRival being rivals]]; [[FleshVersusSteel the old order of nature and organics vs the new order of technology and machines]]. Even outside the GUAD and GUAM are a number of individual deities that the GUAN personally considers their enemies as well.
* [[Pantheon/{{Commerce}} Charles Montgomery Burns]], who's frivolous pollution and contempt for nature already made him an enemy of the House of Pantheon/{{Nature}}.
* [[Pantheon/MusicalCompositions Fatalis]], the absolute misanthrope. While it mainly hates humans, especially Monster Hunters, it would also kill any fauna whose environment the Fatalis decides to invade.
* [[Pantheon/{{Toxicity}} Hexxus]], for being the embodiment of pollution and being anathema to nature itself.
* [[Pantheon/VillainousArchetypes Khazrak and Gorthor]], for being bloodthirsty and warmongering mutants who'd rather kill anything out of supremacy. They also indulge in raping people, though will not hesitate in going through bestiality if it means reproduction.
* [[Pantheon/{{Hunters}} Pokemon Hunter J]], who would target and steal any flora and fauna valuable in any way

Due to the broad term of nature, the deities here have wildly different personalities, motivations and moralities, which can often lead to discord among the GUAN even if they all agree the preservation of nature is a positive. Debates are common. While those aligned to the GUAN rarely use Cyberspace, the few times they do have the [[ColourCodedForYourConvenience color]] of their TronLines be [[RealIsBrown brown]].

[[folder:Old Grand United Alliance of Machines (Turned into the Machine Uprising)]]
'''Grand United Alliance Of Machines'''

->''"Throughout human history, we have been dependent on machines to survive. Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony."''
--> -- '''Morpheus''', ''Film/TheMatrix''

The Grand United Alliance of Machines has one primary objective. Machine Supremacy, the belief that machines are meant to replace organic life, whether it's through subjugation or extermination. While they also have the objective to convince or reprogram all robots and AIs to join them, Machine Supremacy takes priority.

The Machine Alliance has headquarters hidden across the Pantheon, with the position of their main headquarters unknown (it's rumored that [[BaseOnWheels it's mobile and can move around]]). Machine Hideouts don't seem to stop being built even as there's an effort to find and destroy them. Their headquarters are, naturally, robotic and mechanical in nature and built with layers of metal. Many of them have their own personal touches done by certain members.

As their numbers are relatively low compared to some of the other alliances, the Machine Alliance takes a more shadowy approach, engaging in guerilla warfare, terror tactics and covert reprogramming of robots, machines and AIs within the pantheon. However, it would be foolish still to underestimate them in direct combat, especially as almost the entire alliance is made of steel or better.

Despite their goals, [[TokenHuman there's the occasional organic lives who joined them]]. It's hard to tell if they have an ulterior motive or not, but the machines are willing to let them join if they believe that they're useful, though possibly begrudgingly or otherwise.

In Cyberspace, the [[ColourCodedForYourConvenience color]] of the TronLines for deities aligned with the GUAM is Grey.

'''Divisions'''
* Pantheon/GUAMMachineCouncil: Unlike the other alliances, the Machine Alliance has multiple individuals sharing leadership and power.
* Pantheon/GUAMMechanicalWarfareForce: The GUAM's main combat force in the event they need to engage in large-scale battles.

* Pantheon/GUAMOrganicSupporters: Cybernetic and organic beings willing to work with the GUAM.

!! Other Pre-Rework Faction Links

For keeping scope consistent, no factions will be made independent from the 3 main categories, and old ones that were are either re-implemented as one of the 3 categories or removed due to being too closely connected to one character.

* Pantheon/HarbingersOfRepression: [[ComicBook/NewGods Darkseid's]] alliance representing dictatorship, tyranny, and the hope to crush all free will under his heel so he may dominate all existence. (Re-implemented as Pantheon/GUAEDystopiaHarbingers)
* Pantheon/DivineOrderOfAbsoluteJustice: [[Anime/DragonballSuper Zamasu's]] alliance representing his twisted view of justice, that being the supremacy of gods and extermination of mortals for their supposed sinfulness. (Too closely tied with Zamasu)
* Pantheon/OrderOfHumanity: [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 The Immortal Emperor of Mankind's]] alliance representing humanity, fighting to ensure mankind's status as a supreme species (or at least an eternal and safe golden age), opposition to the forces who threaten humanity and the development of mankind's virtues. (Too closely tied with the Imperium of Mankind)
* Pantheon/HoundsOfWar: An Alliance dedicated to instigating a true ForeverWar, lead by a group only called the "High Warmongers" here.
* Pantheon/{{Organizations}}: Intermediate factions of gods encompassing several groups and units. Less powerful than Associations and sometimes answerable to the Grand United Alliances, but still capable of great influence.
* Pantheon/{{Groups}}: Smaller sub-factions of gods loosely connected by common traits. (Organizations + Groups were merged into Pantheon/PantheonCoalitions.
