* ''"Once upon a time, when everyone had their heads down and eyes fixed on the ground, there was a person who looked up into the sky. In their eyes were twinkling stars. Connecting the nameless stars no one else would look, at the person gave them names and made up stories for them as they liked. Stories are like skeins of thread without an end; They're drawn and woven together in an effort to find meaning from meaninglessness. All kinds of stories in the world, happy and sad, circled in the night sky.''
** ''"Then one day, the person's family fell deeply sick, their life nearing its end. Like any other day, the person spoke into the sky about the grief they felt. And then... A droplet of water fell onto the person's head. Looking up, the person found the constellation talking to them. 'Dear person who named me and gave me a story, thanks to you, I was cast onto the land and pushed by the flow of time, feeling the world in full. Did you know that stars can grant wishes? The tears I shed will clear you of your pain.' Afterwards, a rain fell onto the world for a day and a half. Everyone caught in the rain was all healed up. The person's ill family recovered to health, too. Since then, the person and their family, as well as all the residents of the city, have looked up at the sky and talked about happiness every night."'' - A K Corp storybook.
* Helatopoiesis, shortened and colloquially known as HP, is K Corp's Singularity. In a world where violence and injury is all but an everyday occurrence K Corp's Healing Ampules is nothing short of miraculous. Upon entering the body, either through being shot by HP Bullets or injected with Healing Ampules, virtually all manner of wounds short of the destruction of the head. Sprained ankles, severe bleeding, broken or lost limbs, and even a body melting can be instantly healed up by this Singularity. The proper mechanics of how it works, barring the usage of nanobots, is understood by few like with most Singularities. Regardless of the means, the healing technology is a lifesaver and it is hard to think of it otherwise. But this is the City, where whatever good is corrupted and nothing comes without a horrible cost, not even K Corp's Singularity.
** Its origins can be traced to a storytelling woman named Stephanette accompanied by a young child who journeyed to the Outskirts and beyond. Upon seeing the stars the child made a wish: To gaze upon the people in pain while the sky as a star and shed tears with them. These tears had miraculous properties and they are what helped begin K Corp with Stephanette serving as its CEO. Time and time again she told heartfelt stories to the Tearful Thing and through crying in people's stead it helped many but this would not last forever. Stephanette soon passed away of old age leaving the seat open for Alfonso to step up as K Corp's CEO. Through an argument among executives, she found out that suffering works better than the old method which kickstarted K Corp's descent into less-than-noble methods. Still, the production of tears proved inefficient until a man named Dongrang was scouted by the new CEO. Through the "Glass technology" he pilfered from his old peers, the Tearful Thing is forced to watch suffering from across the City for maximum output of tears.
* Such technology made its way into the Pantheon when some gods violated the core tenet of the rules and intruded upon the City for their selfish deeds to secure K Corp's crown jewel for themselves. While they were successful in plundering the tears, K Corp quickly caught onto such blatant violations of their Singularity, and the dissidents were swiftly and brutally eliminated and it was through this venture they found out about the Pantheon. Wishing to properly regulate and secure their Singularity's secrets while also securing some power for themselves, K Corp chose to store the tears in the Pantheon's treasures. While they do acknowledge the Treasury is guarded, the Wing was insistent on sending several of their forces to guard the Singularity specifically. Though, only produced tears are stored in its confines. The location of a child entity of the Tearful Thing of which the tears come from is unknown, assuming if it even is in the Pantheon.
* Word quickly spread of some new {{Panacea}} that had made its way to the Pantheon, with the news about how it came to the Treasury being quickly suppressed courtesy of K Corp. It not only reached the House of Pantheon/HealthAndDiseases but other ears as well. Those familiar with [[Franchise/DragonBall the Z-Fighters]] have compared the effectiveness of K Corp’s Singularity to Senzu Beans while healing gunners like Sharla and Ana Amari noted the similarities in their own [[HealingShiv methods of healing]]. However, as this is a Singularity of K Corp they strictly are the ones to regulate its distribution and have gone on to reject any notion of pharmaceuticals taking them for themselves.
** Frankly, strict does not even begin to describe K Corp over their Singularity as the Wing is very insistent on such HP Bullets and Ampules used only on human beings, and even among them they’re particular about them through more rigorous-than-normal cross-compatibility tests. This reason is officially chalked up to general health and safety though given [[FantasticRacism the City’s stance on non-humans and their place]] this is perhaps also another case of such rhetoric bleeding through procedure. That being said K Corp is not lying about untold side effects when you get into their actual nature: The tears are less about healing and mending wounds but restoring things to their origin point. The ones primarily administered by K Corp is diluted with human concepts (ie. if a human being remembers having functional two arms and legs ergo the solution will bring back their limbs if lost somehow) so it stands to reason that the usage of Healing Ampules or HP Bullets on decidedly non-human users would not work as smoothly. If anything, rather than Sharla or Ana Amari’s methods a more apt comparison would be the ability of [[Pantheon/OtherPowers Josuke Higashikata’s]] Stand, Crazy Diamond. [[Pantheon/InfluentialFigures Rose Quartz]] as well, if only due to such healing also being founded on tears too.
* Not only is K Corp strict on distributing the tears, they’re also very stingy with them as well what with it being a finite supply with only so much being produced in regular intervals. Even their security teams are no exception, and often have to seriously maim themselves while in combat to justify their usage. This only applies to the Class 1 and 2 staff, however, as Class 3 are injected with heavier doses of the solution but outside of combat they often spend their time being suspended in glass tubes while monitored by scientists for their safety. Of course, time is not much of an issue for these units as if the situation calls for their deployment, K Corp's enemies are not long for this world.
* Alongside Healing Ampules, K Corp has been known to utilize other ampules as well. The most prominent of them include Decay Ampules whereupon contact with organic bodies causes them to degrade and melt into a puddle. These are what line the blades of Class 3 Excision Staff but they serve a much more horrific purpose: To keep their security in line, K Corp drones have been known to use Decay Ampules to prevent desertion and keep morale up during engagements. To those in the know, the decay ampules alongside other specialized variants come from the same tears but are concentrated differently. The basic tears regress whatever comes into contact with them into their most “basest forms” though the particularities of what this entails is unknown. Perhaps that is for the better…
* Say what you will about K Corp, their usage of their healing Singularity, or how they come about producing it if you are in the know, but their effectiveness cannot be denied. Lobotomy Corporation has easy access to supplies of HP Bullets thanks to their contracts and time and time again have the HP Bullets saved the main branch’s employees in a pinch and the results reported by other users in the Pantheon say much of the same. An anonymous benefactor for [[Pantheon/FictionalSettings Eylstadt’s military and resistance forces]] snuck in crates full of regeneration ampules and HP Bullets which not helped not only heal many of the sick and wounded but also bolstered their fighting forces. Clever and careful usage of HP Bullets allowed [[Pantheon/{{Gaming}} XCOM and some of the Etrain Odyssey Guilds]] to pull through seemingly difficult and hopeless situations during their missions. Even [[Pantheon/{{Logistics}} the AAHW]], after in some way getting caught up in a MeleeATrois with several other Pantheonic factions they managed to survive the ordeal though they haven’t so much as “won” and more-so came out with the least amount of damage and losses. Still impressive given their nature as CannonFodder 90 percent of the time.
* Aside from medicinal purposes, K Corp saw to it that the ampules serve a use in the food industry. More specifically, it serves use with livestock as a almost continuous source of high-quality meat. With K Corp’s Department of Food Resource Development hundreds if not thousands of animals such as chickens endlessly sliced for their wings. The process is as efficient as it can come off as unnatural. Still, the House of Pantheon/{{Food}} benefitted from a surplus in meat thanks to K Corp.
* The interest in HP ampules and bullets led to other gods wanting to skip the middleman and either take some for themselves or reverse-engineer the Singularity for their own ends. As K Corp has demonstrated earlier, however, they take patent violation of their Singularity as seriously as the other Wings and while the Pantheon lies outside the Head’s authority they aren’t afraid to take matters into their own hands. Their status as an unascended entity with a direct connection to a treasure, while limited in terms of manpower, makes them much more difficult to track especially when acting through proxies. Arnold Berkman took notice of German reports on K Corp’s ampules being briefly used by the resistances and pondered how they would fit into his cloning projects but put it on the back burner for now. He is still swamped with his current research and even he knows better than to piss off a Wing of the World after having drawn attention to some other gods. Arnold is not aware such research would be best suited to another Wing and their Singularity.
** The Shroobs proved to be bold enough to directly raid the Treasury for the tears for themselves. Such a large force drew a lot of attention, sure, but it also overwhelmed the initial security that guarded the K Corp’s prized medicine technology. Unfortunately, some of the vials would be destroyed in the ensuing conflict and ended up splashing onto the alien infiltrators. The results were… horrific, with the dosed Shroobs [[CruelAndUnusualDeath rapidly melting and mutating simultaneously before eventually expiring]]. The sight was too much to bear to those who were unfortunate enough to be witnesses and even K Corp’s stern staff becoming unnerved by the sight though not enough to clean up the remaining Shroobs alongside the alerted security. The rest of the healing singularity was safe though the staff present were reprimanded for losing some of the tears. Since then, the Shroobs want nothing to do with K Corp’s Singularity and have settled with destroying them as they pose the same lethality to them as baby tears do barring the Elder Queen. If only they knew…
** The Medic, however, undeterred by K Corp’s threat or something as inconsequential as ethics, took to discreetly researching the Singularity on his own. Unlike many, the Medic is dangerously close to unearthing its secrets and has already figured out the regeneration ampules' connection to its more lethal modified variants. Of course, he also dares not reveal his hand early and is content with the long game.
* '''Alfonso:''' ''”May the meaning of those ceaseless tears be effervescence. Your wish, as well as ours… are being realized to the best of our abilities as always.”''

It also has around a short distance of time affected, meaning it will not damage other places on a long-term basis, making it a safer option for discovering mysteries and deaths rather than utilizing more advanced time-travel with a sacrifice for distance and limited time.
