She impressed him with her ability to keep up, until she mentioned that she got her experience from an academy, which immediately raised alarm bells because ''she was too good for just some academy student'' and got him asking questions. The answers he got were a basic introduction to the life and quest of Satsuki Kiryuin. The good colonel came away respecting Satsuki for going through a campaign similar to his own, but she also reminded him of another, older authoritative LadyOfWar from his own world…

* He actually had a lot of blast when visiting various Gods from ''VideoGame/BlazBlue''. He's quick friends with Makoto Nanaya for their tonfa combat, nearly mistook Litchi Faye-Ling as the bodyguard of his brother Sun Quan, and once the mistake was straightened out, Sun Ce befriended her and not exactly one to condemn her for her decision. And lastly, on meeting Amane Nishiki, Sun Ce had a deja vu, not only on the similarity of [[Creator/YuriLowenthal their voices]], he thought Amane was the second coming of his sworn brother Zhou Yu. Though Amane's not into strategy, Sun Ce respects him.

* Meeting his brother-in-law Liu Bei has been a bit of an awkward encounter, given Liu Bei's actions following the Battle of Fan Castle. However, after hearing both sides of the story, Ce assured him that he doesn't hold his actions against him, as Ce probably would have acted similarly upon losing one of his sworn brothers as well.

** That being said, he's still a little miffed when he heard about Cao Cao one day trying to include his wife in his harem. He didn't live long enough to hear that back then, though Cao Cao himself is annoyed at how overblown the myth is, while Sun Ce is shrugging as he notices the warlord always slipping away at the mere mention of "Daqiao and Xiaoqiao are here!"

** On the other hand, when he heard about Hakufu's tales in life, Sun Ce was actually surprised on one thing. Maybe he didn't live long enough to see this guy, but one of his brother's latter officer, Gan Ning, was told to be actually a psychopathic ruthless bastard, ''much'' like what Hakufu encountered. It was actually something that was taken out of the pages of history. Regardless, Sun Ce actually gave Gan Ning a break, he was pretty sure he'd know and this whole LovableRogue[=/=]{{Pirate}} thing was a mean to atone for such indecent life.

* It took time for him to get a little more comfortable towards the good people in the House of Pantheon/{{Magic}}, but he does get rather wary against them, considering the last time he got paranoid over this magician called Gan/Yu Ji caused his untimely death. But if said magician is evil, deep down he's kinda glad that he can strike without holding back. And there's a whole bunch of'em.

* Believe or not, Minna originally intended to be a singer, as her family thrives in musical talent. However, she had to stop studying music due of Neuroi invasion. She is still a really good singer, as heard in her rendition of "Lili Marleen".
** Because of this, she gets along with Sheryl Nome.
* One reason she seems so protective of her troops, and practical ban on any romantic relation with men, is because of the death of a man called Kurt Flachfeld, whom she had known for a long time and was like a big brother to her.
* While not a BigEater and neither is she known being able to eat absolutely everything, she is known for being able to stomach, to outright like foods what many other would find disgusting.
* She has a particular disgust forwards Koko. On one hand, she quite respects of her devotion forwards her team (some also claim that they sound similar when speaking European languages) and both of them are trying to save the world. But on other hand, [[spoiler:her trying to control the air space, what would kill hundred of thousands of people]] just sickens her. The two of them seem to have mutual cease-fire forwards their team members. However, Minna has warned Koko that if she even tries to harm her team, she will learn first hand why Minna received the "Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross With Oak Leaves and Swords" (or not, as her 200th kill involves [[NoodleIncident crushing her enemy between her buttocks]]).
* Despite the fact that Minna took one of her titles, Commander Susan Ivanova isn't too bitter about losing CommandingCoolness and both Minna and Susan seen to get along well
* Has gain a negative view on Gendo Ikari. This is because just like Minna, he too lost a love one. However, instead of coping with it, he instead abandoned his son and tried to end the world in an attampt to reunited with his wife. That selfishness disgust Minna. Though, she would admit that if thinks were different, she might of ended up just like him.
* There are some who think Minna might have a much [[HoYay deeper affection]] for Mio. And it isn't just base on her getting knocked out after being deep kiss by a drunk Mio. It's the reason why he ascended as well: He may treat his soldiers like dirt, but his genius makes up for it with high efficiency.
* He surpassed Doug Neidermeyer, the TropeNamer himself, when he just deflected the attempt to be shot by his soldier, and proceeds to publicly execute said backstabber for insolence, then bring victory for his side with his genius. For that, he also made Neidermeyer kiss his feet and swear loyalty to him. Oh, and he stomps on his head afterwards.
* He can't stand those who are TooDumbToFool. They are more likely to serve as his SpannerInTheWorks. Aside of Yukimura, there's also that dumbass cat Taokaka. Facing those two, Motonari would usually revert into the strategy AttackAttackAttack as much as he usually dislike such thing. He will very likely flee on the fly if Itachi Uchiha (Who, unlike Yukimura and Tao, isn't TooDumbToFool,) enters the fray, putting the latter on the top of his Spanner list.
* Has a dislike to Gods that are pirates. It kind of reminded him with that pink-coated pirate buffoon from Shikoku.
** Now that Motochika ascended...a fierce battle between the two is coming.
* Just like Masamune, somewhere in the realm, [[VideoGame/SamuraiWarriors there was another Motonari who's surprisingly calmer, more amiable and just wants to be a historian]]. Unlike Masamune and a few others, Motonari couldn't be bothered to care less about alternate selves.
** Not to mention, he outright insults that very version of Motonari for his "less-than-lofty" attitude and ambitions. Needless to say, the said arrow-bracer-wielding-counterpart is not amused and takes more care to avoid anything needless with the Mr. Sun-portrayal. Word has it that the arrow-bracer is already making preparations just in case things begin to go even more sour, and that he has Kobayakawa Takakage on his side, as another TakeThat about how glory can be achieved with more than one person. One thing the alternate Motonari knows is that he makes good use of his metaphor of 'three arrows together are harder to break than one single arrow', while this Motonari outright ignores that.
* Has earned the eternal enmity of Nozomi Yumehara (Cure Dream) due to constantly tossing his soldiers into deaths and treating them like garbage everyday. Motonari just treats her like a noisy little girl that can't even comprehend his genius.
** He's even more pissed off when [[VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends Leona]] interrupted his battle against the Tokugawa, burnt down his Solar Nexus, and said that his genius and sunlight metaphors are fake when used with extreme [[ItsAllAboutMe self-serving jackassery]], and allowing the Tokugawa to make a comeback. Motonari retreated to his corner in his throne room once the battle concluded, and [[VillainousBreakdown starts claiming that]] [[EvilCannotComprehendGood Leona and everyone else are just fools that can never understand the true value of battle: Victory and self glory.]]
* For all his [[{{Jerkass}} jackassery]] and [[ItsAllAboutMe ego]], though, [[EvenEvilHasStandards there's just one being that Motonari utterly has no respect to]]: [[VideoGame/BlazBlue Yuuki Terumi]]. Motonari sees him as nothing but an utterly dishonest fool that has no integrity, regardless of how much chaos Terumi makes. [[AndThatsTerrible And that disgusts him]].
* He also has a keen dislike towards the House of Faith. Merely standing on the gate of the houses kept reminding him the day he used to '[[NeverLiveItDown get converted into Xavism]]' and calling himself [[EmbarrassingNickname 'Sunday Mori']]. And it was like brain cancer to him.
** There is a rumor floating about that he also evades the House of Faith because prolonged exposure to such an environment could cause him to regress into that former persona.
* Had long anticipated Yoshitsugu's ascension to the Pantheon, [[CrazyPrepared and has formulated several strategies and counter-strategies for when the Toyotomi advisor decided to appear]]. His prediction proved true when Gyobu appeared in the House of Pantheon/{{Hatred}}. The two have been civil so far, seeming to be plotting together. But those in the know can see the daggers both men have waiting for the other.
* You'd think that Serperior and Motonari wouldn't get along that well. Quite the opposite, actually. [[VideoGame/PokemonConquest The two of them are a perfect match]]. When she's around him, he shows… a little more regard to his troops.
* As one who goes through his/her battles with ''zero'' casualties, the Tactician is in full opposition to Motonari's complete disregard of the lives of his troops. Motonari on his part thinks the Tactician is wasting too much time on "maintaining such a perfect streak" and awaits the day he can ''shatter'' the Tactician's mentality, taunting that such mentality will never get him S-Rank in hard modes, while he definitely will. Of course, what he failed to observe was that apparently to achieve S-Rank, 'care towards subordinates' was actually required.

She only stopped when the clip was empty, and at that point enough damage was done to the suit that Gayle was suffocating inside from the pressure. She allowed him to live just so that he would forever ''regret'' the decision to hunt her.

Even taking that into account, he has a strong disregard towards his own subordinates (he classifies his soldiers as equipment, for one) and even created a SuperSoldier program that uses drugs to power up the mooks (albeit mooks with fatal withdrawal symptoms). He also served as an onlooker to the aircraft ''Dominion'', and made sure his plans were in effect, even if it meant fighting the ship's captain to enforce these plans.
* The ascended members of [[TabletopGame/{{Warhammer40000}} the Imperial Guard]] briefly took notice after hearing that someone has decided to represent commissars. They were very upset after they found out just how heartless and evil Muruta turned out to be.
* Shortly after ascending, he heard of SHOCKER and decided to look over the group's progress. Not long after that, the organization offered him a spot and he gladly accepted the offer. His current role is to provide the organization with various [=WMDs=] and he even created a new SuperSoldier program for the organization. This lead to SHOCKER getting new henchmen that are both capable in combat and are highly insane to go with it.
** As far as employed members of the organization are concerned, he's been hanging out quite a bit with Nobuyuki Sugou. They usually talk about mind control and how to improve it within the organization.
** Of course, it wouldn't come as much of a surprise to see Muruta together with Gihren Zabi, given that they both [[{{Expy}} share quite a few things in common]] (especially their interest towards [=WMDs=]).
* Apart from Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne (who are already enemies with him to begin with), a number of other heroic Gundam deities hate him for certain reasons. Aila Jyrkiainen despises him due to his tendency to control his mooks through fear and mind control, which would remind her of her own tragic past. Shiro Amada also hates him, though it's for [[Creator/NobuyukiHiyama a completely different reason]].
** Even though they don't originate from Gundam, heroic mecha pilots Viral and Guy Shishioh both hate Muruta for the same reason that Shiro does. Shishioh has apparently come into conflict with Muruta [[VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsAlpha before]], so there's already some animosity between the two.
*** It's not just the mecha pilots who sound like Muruta who hate him. Even others such as Link, Uzu Sanageyama, Veigue Lungberg, and even Axel the Dark Hero all despise him for that vocal similarity. Granted, Muruta didn't seem to care much about what those non-mecha pilots think of him, considering how busy he was with his current plans, though an actual encounter between them could happen if he plans something that could really anger them, though that's on low priority for now.
* Whenever he isn't working alongside SHOCKER, chances are he'll be lending some of his ideas over to HYDRA. He doesn't work with them as often as he does with SHOCKER, but the organization doesn't mind at all. In fact, both Muruta and HYDRA seem to share [[WeHaveReserves a similar philosophy when it comes to how mooks are used]].
* All of the Toku heroes have declared Muruta as an enemy, but the heroic Kamen Riders really have it out against him considering what he does. Him joining SHOCKER certainly made things much worse for the heroic Riders.
* Many deities are well aware of Muruta's ruthless actions. Although he does attempt to put up a nice manner when dealing with others (given [[VillainWithGoodPublicity the publicity with some of the other villains]] and all that), whenever that [[FauxAffablyEvil "nice"]] image of him cracks, he's very much a crazy psychopath and things get ugly for anyone involved near him.
* Even though they come from wildly differing time periods, Muruta was amused with the actions of Mori Motonari, another person involved with war who has a callous disregard for his own soldiers. Mori, given his selfishness, does not care at all for what Muruta thinks of him.
* Mooks who have had a history of working with bad guys are in fierce opposition against Muruta, given his treatment of mooks. It's not stopping him from thinking up of ways to make his soldiers more dangerous at the expense of their sanity.
* Muruta has a pistol with him, though he really only uses it if things go badly for him and is willing to threaten someone in doing things he wants done. Most of these incidents happen within SHOCKER, generally if the organization needs to back down from something. There were some instances where Muruta has shot some members with the gun if they didn't comply with his demands. Although the injuries are taken care of outside of battle, Muruta is very much bitter about not getting what he wants accomplished in the organization during battles.
* With Muruta's arrival in the Pantheon, Rau Le Creuset is looking to use him as an UnwittingPawn once more to try and destroy all of humanity in a manner similar to Rau's attempt back in their homeworld (via a long-standing war). There may be a chance that Muruta becomes aware of being used for something, though most aren't certain as to how he'll react to such (chances are, Muruta wouldn't care about it). Muruta himself said that as long as his opposition is destroyed, he'll be content.
