* Ranko Kanzaki is a girl with 'Delusional Syndrome', in which young boys or girls act out like they are fantasy beings with mystic powers. For Ranko, she is a reincarnation of a fallen angel. And to her, she speaks in a specific manner of speech that may seem nonsense to others but does means something. For example, "savor the darkness" means "good work" while "tyranny of the sun" means "good morning".
* Even though Ranko talks about darkness, demons and fallen angels, she is one of the nicest girls you could ever meet.
* Even though she tries to act in control in her chuunibyou mode, she can get easily startled and embarrassed when caught off guard. One of the best ways is to call her Ran-Ran.
